I'm really strict on what greeting cards I buy. It all stemmed from the time I was turning 21, and reading all the birthday cards people gave me. Half of them weren't funny. I found these greeting cards in a local Box & Go outlet and then online. I have purchased quite a few to keep friends and family entertained while isolated due to covid. I love these cards. Since I was a kid it was always my dream to start my own independent greeting card company, and I imagined it being something similar to Bald Guy greeting cards... except I think Bald Guy has done it better than what I would've done. So every time I laugh at one of their cards, it does kinda take the wind outta my dream's sails. Like you know when you're made to feel like you are special? And you have something unique to offer the world? And only you can do certain things in a certain way because of your specific talents and personality traits and point of view? But then you see someone do that thing better than you? Like remember when I was maybe 10 and I got the game Crossfire for Christmas and I would dominate all of my cousins and siblings, and then my uncle had a tenant stop by (he managed some apartments) and he told the tenant to play me Crossfire while he got some paperwork together, and he said to the guy "watch out, Brandon is the best" because of how I was the best? SO I explained to the guy how to play- shoot the bbs at the two spinny things- and while I'm explaining it I'm thinking about how there were 364 days this guy could've stopped by my Uncle's house and it would've been business as usual, but THIS day I happened to be there with my new Crossfire game and a 10 year old's capacity for mercy... which is none. None capacity for mercy. After I'm positive he understands how to play, we get started and I've never seen anything like what happened next. My world is shattered. This idiot was like a trained sniper. There was nothing I could do. He humiliated me. I was TEN! He had no mercy. That day I learned that no matter how good I think I am at something, there's some random guy in Logan Utah just waiting to emasculate me in front of my Uncle Terry. That's what Bald Guy greeting cards are to me. I wouldn't be surprised if this company started in an apartment in Logan, UT. If this is the same guy who beat me at Crossfire all those years ago I want you to know... I don't think I learned a valuable lesson from that experience. Having decided to alienate most of my friends and family (to avoid buying gifts for them), I was thrilled to discover Bald Guy greeting cards. Well, they aren't exactly "greeting" cards because they don't really say, "Hi." And they can be so insulting that you can't believe that somebody actually reached into your brain, pulled out what you were thinking, and put it down on paper. Essentially, each card is a little test of friendship, with the message, " If you don't think this card is funny, you're a humorless jerk and I really won't care when you ghost me." I used to buy Bald Guy cards in a store, but I moved to an area where there's no local shop that sells them. So now I purchase them online.
