This is by far, one of the best Urgent Care / Emergency Room facilities, that I have ever been to. I mentioned to the nurse that the place was super clean, the nurses were very friendly and nice and I had zero waiting time. I walked in on a Thursday at 3:15pm, was already in a gown, had a room and registration process started by 3:20! I had a few tests done, blood drawn, etc and was out within 2 hours. My barely 25‑year‑old daughter, Taylor, died after what multiple independent physicians and an autopsy have confirmed was reckless medical negligence and neglect in an HCA Florida Hospital where she was taken after being rear‑ended at a red light. Her internal bleeding went undiagnosed for about eight hours despite glaring signs. Once imaging was finally ordered and active internal bleeding was confirmed, surgery was delayed for roughly seven more hours. In the meantime, the doctor ordered mass blood transfusion in an improper way that worsened her condition instead of stabilizing her, while failing to move the central line that was improperly placed and that the radiologist recommended be repositioned. HCA Healthcare has faced no consequences, and there is no way for people researching physicians through the Florida Department of Health (DOH), the medical licensing board, to see what happened to my daughter. Because she was 25, unmarried, and had no children, Florida's 'Free Kill' law strategically blocked me from pursuing legal recourse to ensure the hospital and its physicians are held accountable so the harm does not continue. 10/24/2025 afternoon I went to HCA Florida Baldwin park er for my husband having an asthma attack he did not have an albuterol pump so he used a store bought pump that was primatene basically epinephrine which caused adrenaline since he accidentally took too much... we got there it was fine until the nurse Vincent Sobal who's name I only now know because of the police report that was filed after.. we came here for help received an absolute attitude from Vincent from the beginning I tried to speak for my husband having an asthma attack and he put his hand up immediately and said "I'm not speaking to u let the patient speak" my husband with the breath he had told him he's having an asthma attack Vincent walked us to a room and on the way starts apologizing for his behavior to which I said it was "still rude" he was so unprofessional when we got to the room he continued arguing about how the patient needs to respond ok I asked for a different nurse to which, instead of just leaving and getting a different nurse he continued to argue saying we only have three nurses on staff and all this nonsense I asked "you know what what's ur name?" He walked up to me instead of telling me his name arms length like a child grabbed his badge very aggressively and put it in my face, it was backwards so I laughed at him and said "it's backwards so he then proceeded to flip it angrily and aggressively and shove it in my face hitting my face my husband was never assessed and my husband saw this while having his asthma attack on the premetene jumps up to help me and all of a sudden a female nurse Shandis is there out of nowhere Vincent pushes her into my husband as a shield tries to strike my husband while she is in the middle my husband reacts in self defense swings back missing him and Shandis ducks her head which I saw very clearly she did not get hit which later she and Vincent lied to police about I tell her please get us out of here I want to go to another hospital the security guard comes who by the way is no help they need to hire better security he's holding my husband as am I and Vincent is still in the hallway antagonizing my husband said he was a racist and a trump supporter and says come on like he just was egging him on as I'm trying to help my husband leave and security is in the middle my husband finally reacts and they end up on the floor with the security guard between them! By the way this man is white and about 6 foot 3 2 to 300 pounds and is a nurse fighting a patient with an asthma attack. I ask everyone around at this point we are by the nurses station and I ask the doctor "this is your nurse. What are you gonna do about this? Stop this! Help us!" No one did a thing until I got on top of Vincent to get him away from my husband I'm 5'3 and 115 pounds he kicks me in my stomach. I flew about 3 feet and the cops put in the report that he pushed me with his foot. I don't know what to do. Finally somehow we are able to walk out of these doors of this hell hole Hospital and they call the cops and the cops come and My Husband can't even walk. He drops to the floor he was fighting this man with an asthma attack. He could not breathe at all. He wanted to go to a different hospital. The cops did not allow it. They forced him to go back into the hospital where they continue to antagonize him in the new nurse asked him " Are you going to hit me too?" I was obviously hysterical because I knew that they were going to try to take My Husband and they were gonna take Vincent's side they did not allow me back into the hospital. I did not hit anyone. I did not hurt anyone. I did not do anything to anyone at that hospital, but try to stop the fight which Vincent escalated instead of leaving like you should have like a professional should have. Finally the cops told me that the CEO has trespassed me from the hospital for no reason and I cannot be with My Husband they gave him a simple nebulizer treatment never assess him and tell the cops. He's all your boys the cops take him to jail. So I'm across the street obviously hysterical not able to see my husband. They take him in the cop car take him straight to jail. This has caused this so much drama and so much anguish and now we are fighting a case and the prosecution will not drop this case against my husband who was a patient at a hospital and was attacked by a nurse and the footage that they show there is no audio in the footage very conveniently also I believe they tampered with the evidence the video footage recently. read more

The facility is really nice and clean. The staff were super helpful and we got seen by a doctor in like 10 minutes. Overall this facility is as good as a trip to the ER can get. read more

I am a Veteran and on July 20/2024 I visited Baldwin Park Emergency since it was Sunday and my assigned doctor was not available at the VA Clinic. I was taken, via ambulance, to Lake Monroe Hospital some 18 miles away in Samford area. The nightmare began with 2 "Nurses" drawing blood simultaneously from the same arm. I recall very little until the following day approximately 9:35 AM I hear voices from outside the room and I came out (I had kept my clothes on) and there was a guard/policeman with the nurse that had bee attended me and said that I was being held against my will and walked out of the hospital towards the lake to get a ride. I was able to get a ride on the back of a motorcycle to a nearby Dinner where I had breakfast and hired a Taxi to take me to get my car. On August 25, 2024 the Lake Monroe Hospital issued a statement for Hospital services on 7/20/2024 in the amount of $3,900.00 after discounts have been applied. Both Baldwin Park Emergency and Lake Monroe Hospital are owned by HCA Florida. No breakdown of services has been provided, although requested. read more

My son went to Baldwin Park ER after a motorcycle accident. Dr. Shahbaz Yousaf ordered an x-ray of his left foot, said it "may" be broken and told us to follow up with a podiatrist. His left hand was also swollen twice its normal size, and we were told it wasn't broken even though they didn't x-ray it. We went back a few hours later after my son started screaming in agony. The staff was the same, and they were clearly not happy to see him again. Dr. Yousaf seemed to trivialize his pain until he ordered a CT of his foot which showed multiple fractures. I chose to take him to an orthopaedic doctor, not a podiatrist, and found out he needs surgery on his foot. Without us asking, the orthopaedic doctor also ordered an x-ray of the hand Dr. Yousaf said wasn't broken. Turns out the bone at the base of his thumb was shattered. I respect the work of Emergency Department physicians and nurses, but this place needs to do better. Dr. Yousaf dismissed his pain and proved incompetent to me when they didn't even x-ray his hand. read more

Staff is so pleasant from entrance through the entire process. Had to bring my 13yr old here, to get her eye checked out. The entire staff was so good with her. They make you feel so welcomed and comfortable. The doctor explained everything in detail to myself and my daughter. I would recommend anyone to come here, especially with children. This place is fantastic for getting you in quickly but the nurse staff is just horrible. Robin in particular . Nurses are supposed to be kind and compassionate to patients, not rolling their eyes at you and speaking to you as if you were a child. She definitely needs a new career in life, nursing isn't for her. read more

This place is good in the aspect of it is quick to get seen, but the last time I went I did not have a pleasant experience because my questions were not answered. Instead of telling me why there was blood in my vomit or asking what I was tryin to resolve they assume I'm always nauseous and give me nausea medicine which I do not need & will not take, they also mentioned the cannabis in my System and listed on my discharge papers "cannabis abuse". I kept repeating i had a little chest pain and that my throat hurt & that this isn't how my body normally acts when I'm throwing up and they just said "I know baby" like ..... can u get me ice or something ? first time ever leaving a review on anything ... horrible place do not go. I was in a boating accident damaged my shoulder badly I could not move it. they gave me a shot to numb the pain and a $90 xray then sent me to other locations for an mri. they sent me to 2 separate locations the first one was an empty building the other was a doctor that couldn't see me for a month. I left and hired a lawyer (Todd Minner-gold stars). my lawyer sent me to 22 health and I give them gold starts...any way I just was told my ER visit costs $5,500.... for bad information and an x ray. go somewhere else. Dr Guzman is not cooperative at all, belittling and dismissive of the patient. Asking simple follow up questions we were met with intense rebuttal. She told us that our story had changed and that Catatonia was just anxiety and essentially to not be worried if unable to breath due to an inability to move. Insisted that patient was lying about their medical history, combative and denying competence of both patient and partner both trying to explain history. Very aggressive and unhelpful. Dr Shahbaz Yousaf was of zero help, he did not listen to any of my symptoms, did not even tell me my diagnosis at the ER, and prescribed a cough suppressant for a cough I didn't even have. When the RN gave me the prescription I told him I did not have a dry persistent cough so I was confused as to what his reasoning was behind this, the RN looked puzzled but then told me "he prescribed it so just take it, it won't interfere with any of your other medications." It wasn't until I got back home and looked at my file that I saw he gave me a diagnosis of ACUTE bronchitis, when I had told him the phlegm in my throat had been consistent since June 2020. I ended up going to a different doctor who gave me an accurate diagnosis of chronic bronchitis & was very confused on how Yousaf came to this conclusion. He had zero social skills, he was extremely dismissive, to the point when he finally left my fiancé wanted to leave as soon as possible because of how upset he was at his bedside manner. If a MD in the ER can't even tell the difference between chronic and acute bronchitis, how he is trusted with peoples lives in the emergency room is beyond me. read more

Best ER in Winter Park, Baldwin Park area. Place is open 24/7 and is very fast and convenient. I've never experience such personalized service as we received at Baldwin Park ER. I was welcomed and taken back to a room immediately. Everyone was wearing masks and using hand sanitizer. I felt safe even though we are in the middle of a global pandemic. The ER doctors and nurses were so friendly. I had a cat scan, ultrasound and lab work and was in and out in less than 2 hours. This place is operated by Oviedo hospital, and is full service. I would have been at Florida Hospital Winter Park for 8 hours for the same procedures. I'm so thankful to have this option near me if needed and will tell all my friends and family. read more

Had a very unpleasant visit at the ER. Went in around 6am for severe low abdominal & rectum pain and vomiting that I had experienced at 2am that morning, but the pain had since subsided. The nurses were sweet & competent, but the doctor- Cynthia Rivera- was dismissive and inattentive. When I told her my symptoms, she wrote me off as having a UTI (even though I had no pain in my vagina or difficulty urinating). She wouldn't even check me for a hemorrhoid until I demanded it (which I ended up having so thank goodness I pressed for it). She gave me medicine for nausea and pain management even though I had no more severe pain and hadn't thrown up for 4-5 hours... I asked for an ultrasound of my low abdomen and she insisted I didn't need one and got annoyed at me/impatient with me when I was pressing for it. She said, "It's not necessary and it takes awhile for the ultrasound tech to get here anyway." I pleaded that she please get me the ultrasound and then she rolled her eyes and said "whatever, fine" and stormed out. She couldn't care less about my ailments. Even the nurse told me when the doctor left the room that I needed to demand which tests I wanted because my doctor tends to not care or listen. After the visit, I got a huge bill in the mail and it came to my attention that the ER never even put my insurance on file so my claim was never submitted to my insurance company. So now I'm calling the billing company, having them to re-submit the claim, and notify my insurance before these unpaid bills go to collections. I am a food service worker. I went in with a terrible cough (I had been taking dayquil/nyquil for a week and a half and it was only getting worse.) Went to work that day and couldn't stop coughing, had shortness of breath symptom, breathing problems, echo/wheeze. Had to leave work early because I was dizzy and couldn't breath. Nurse was kind and helpful. I informed her I was a food service worker. She said they could write me a note for work (they did but just for that day, I didn't know this until I was home). The physician (Richard Mohammad) came in for under 5 minutes, Barely talked to me, used a stethoscope, made a somewhat rude comment about how I havent coughed since he walked in. Diagnosed me with bronchitis (CONTAGIOUS) and gave me an antibiotic + a zpack, I went home and had to CALL BACK and ASK IF I SHOULD BE WORKING. I then had to drive back to get a doctors not to not go to work for multiple days because they told me I am CONTAGIOUS for a few days, and should not be working. (Keep in mind I told them beforehand that I work FOOD SERVICE, and would need a note) Flash forward a couple weeks. I am still having horrible coughing/wheezing symptoms. Called back and they said they couldn't do anything for me. Seems to me that is is incompetence and lack of care to be thorough. Quick service is wonderful service!- as long as the diagnosis is correct and proper medication is administered. In this case it seems it was not. I wonder if that has something to do with the physician barely speaking with me and questioning that I had a cough in the first place because I hadn't since he'd been in the room for UNDER FIVE MINUTES. I have thousands of dollars of medical bills to be seen for under 5 minutes. Given medication that did not work and I am still sick. I would not recommend this place. read more
