I bought a vehicle and didn't get a mechanic to look at it first. Big mistake. I spent $5000 in repairs the first year and it needed another $2000 repair when I just decided to cut my losses and sold it to a dealer for $2300 less than I paid for it. I almost spent as much in repairs than the vehicle was worth. I would not recommend this car lot after my experience.

I would also like to note that they haven't made contacted with me for my refund the dealership for the last months has ignored me about receiving a refund because they will not respond. I paid 1000$ dollars before even taking the car off the lot, which was the guarantee that I was bringing a paycheck to them for the rest of the loan. They took and they didn't respond nor are they willing to work with me to give my 1000 deposit back. I would have stopped contacting if they would have simply said it was non refundable. At this point the back and forth is time consuming shows a lot, I have my own small business and treat customers better. I just happened to have a family emergency it was only 1 day they would have had to wait. I stopped dealing with them because they continued to threaten me with police while I had a check written for them and showed proof of fund at the dealer which is why they let me take it off the lot with the keys. I left the car at my school for them to pick it up in case they had any more tricks to pull. I have so many message threads I could post but the last thing I have to say is be careful who you chose to make a big purchase especially if you are in a bad situation and trying to get real help from people who "care" :)

Everyone in the service department is extremely nice…read more Back in June I took my truck in Spark Plugs replacement, Fuel injector cleaning, Oil Change, State Inspection, Thermostat replacement and Oil sensor replacement. After picking the truck up the first time, I discovered the thermostat wasn't working as the coolant fan never turned off and the oil sensor notification was still dinging. I took it back and Matthews Motors offered me a loaner vehicle while they looked at and worked on the truck. When I picked the truck up the 2nd time the truck has been working great. Thermostat and oil sensor issues both resolved and they didn't try to stick me with any additional charges. Overall I'm pleased. I would definitely go back. I left a 4 star instead of 5 only because while I'm happy with the end result, I was surprised the truck was returned to me without being fully fixed; and also, they did have my truck for about 3.5 or 4 weeks in total. I think they may have been understaffed when I took my truck in. But stuff happens right? It's how a company reacts to hiccups like that that separate the good ones from the bad ones. Turns out Matthews Motors is one of the good ones. If you need to have your vehicle repaired, I think that Matthews Motors will do everything they can to make sure your vehicle is fixed up and that you're happy.
