Hopefully this compels them to remove me from their mailing list. The owner Stych drops by at a security training school at Moorpark to offer his suits that are targeted for the security industry. Very unorganized & not a man of his word. I purchased the G2 suit for roughly 400 (give or take) that was to be tailored , which the current reiteration is the G3. Fast forward. It took months and after a couple follow up calls before I got my suit. To my surprise, I was sent a Nordstrom Rack suit that wasn't even tailored. A suit that I searched up online and was only worth like 200 to 300 online. I got my refund after I communicated I'd be disputing the charge with my credit card company. Additionally, they didn't even bother to reimburse me for shipping the suit back to them when the store was at fault. I must note some of the stuff Stych tries to peddle like the shoes, belts, and ties towards those in the security industry seem to be on par with the quality you could find at Santee's Alley.

During my most recent getaway trip to Ventura, I made two visits.....the first visit, I found a woven straw fedora-trilby, the Circa 1921, to top off an olive-green Hawaiian shirt I purchased from a different store just a short time earlier. The second visit, I got a pecan-brown Scala Outback Hat. Both Amberlee and Jenny were such a great help; they are real assets to your store. Thank you, Amberlee, Jenny and the Wharf!!! When I entered, the young lady at the registered welcomed me. I couldn't find the bag I was looking for because I didn't know what the bag looked like since it's a different brand than I am used to. I asked a young man that was loading shelves and he called for someone to come help me. Another gentleman came and helped me within a minute. They did have quite a large Oxbow small animal pet products more than I have seen at Tractor Supply. So, even though I probably won't be back for these pellet bedding bags when TSS opens; I would come back for all the rabbit chew toys and supplies they have. I was checked out quickly and on my way.

I came in for what should have been…read morea very simple exchange of an unworn jacket, but the interaction was immediately made uncomfortable by an employee named Maddie. From the start, she was rude, combative, sarcastic, and unnecessarily aggressive throughout the entire process. Instead of simply helping resolve the issue professionally, I was met with attitude, condescending remarks, and an overall hostile demeanor that made the experience far more difficult than it needed to be. As a customer, I expect basic courtesy and professionalism -- especially from a company that prides itself on customer service and brand values. The exchange itself was straightforward, yet Maddie handled it in a way that felt confrontational and unwelcoming from beginning to end. It honestly left a terrible impression of the store and the company overall. After being a customer for nearly 30 years and a brand ambassador for this company, I truly never expected to be treated this way. If this is the type of people Patagonia chooses to employ to represent their brand, I do not believe I will be moving forward with purchasing their products in the future. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience absolutely warranted one.

I went on a Saturday morning and parked across the way, in the medical office lot on Olive and Santa Clara. REVIEW: A solid 3.5 shopping experience but rounding up to 4 due to the great customer service and ease of the return I had to make. I was going on a trip to the PNW and needed (I thought) a sling/crossbody/backpack/day bag of sorts. I looked and looked and figured I should try Patagonia, because Ventura. Right? Prices are steep, but unfortunately, that is (sadly) to be expected in 2026. There were quite a lot of salespeople on the floor. They were talking to each other, but whatev. I found an employee to speak to when I had my choices narrowed down. I bought a sling bag that I was sure would do the trick, but sadly, I had buyers remorse and knew I needed something bigger before my trip. Great service. Great ease of return. Definitely will be back! Thanks Patagonia!

While a lot of manufacturers claim their shirts are iron-free, the reality tends to be somewhat different for most; with Brooks Brothers shirts you really and truly do NOT have to iron them! Despite the fact that this store is an outlet, customer service here is excellent; they fold, wrap, and bag everything just like in their regular retail stores. They obviously care about their customer's experience even though shopping here is about the least expensive way to buy their merchandise. Obviously, they sell a lot more than just iron-free shirts here, but I can't comment on what it's like buying the other merchandise in this particular store because shirts was all I bought :-)

We needed to find "dress up" clothes for a memorial back East. So many stores have closed in Santa Barbara that we hoped it would be worth driving to the Camarillo outlets to get a better selection. We started at Brooks Brothers and within minutes had exactly what we needed. I have come to dread the rote "Welcome In" phrase that most retail staff utter as I enter a store. What does that even mean? It always seems as though they're obligated to say it, and are quite bored by it. By contrast, from the first moment we stepped into the Brooks Brothers Outlet, we were approached by an authentically welcoming, competent, and helpful staff member. Angelina gently and cheerfully inquired about our needs, measured my partner's shoulders and sleeve length to get the correct fit, and ushered us to exactly the right shelf to find what we needed. No wandering around the store lost, no trying on three sizes to figure out if one will work, no wasted time. Just a pleasant and helpful encounter with someone who really knows her stuff and makes every customer feel like the most important person in the world. THANK YOU Brooks Brothers for keeping old-fashioned customer service values alive. You have restored my faith in American retail business. And THANK YOU Angelina for your excellent care and service.
