This is such a cute shop…read more I had gone to E&D at their previous location and also saw them at the fair. Owner is super sweet and helpful. Gives you tips based on your idea and thoughts. I think their concept is so cool. You are creating a hat that's unique and also something that's you. Since being to their new location I have made two new hats which I can't wait to wear. I did create one specifically for an event I am going to. I will be coming back to create more hats.

My friend and I were in DT SP for their Sip n Shop event on a Friday for our Galentine's celebration. We made sure to get there early. Since we were two of their first 10 shoppers- we got our hats for half off! It was meant to be ! I absolutely love my hat. It's green, with a burnt orange strip, peacock feather and gold silk interior. I walked around town with it on and got a ton of compliments! My new hat has given me confidence! I am officially a HAT LADY My hat was around $170 ish as it is customized and I choose what I wanted on it :) It's wool and fitted to fit me perfectly. Such a great price! If you've been wanting a hat too, you should treat yourself and go get one! My hat is absolutely what I wanted and now I want another one ! I can't recommend enough!!! Great customer service from Rick and J!

During my most recent getaway trip to Ventura, I made two visits.....the first visit, I found a woven straw fedora-trilby, the Circa 1921, to top off an olive-green Hawaiian shirt I purchased from a different store just a short time earlier. The second visit, I got a pecan-brown Scala Outback Hat. Both Amberlee and Jenny were such a great help; they are real assets to your store. Thank you, Amberlee, Jenny and the Wharf!!! When I entered, the young lady at the registered welcomed me. I couldn't find the bag I was looking for because I didn't know what the bag looked like since it's a different brand than I am used to. I asked a young man that was loading shelves and he called for someone to come help me. Another gentleman came and helped me within a minute. They did have quite a large Oxbow small animal pet products more than I have seen at Tractor Supply. So, even though I probably won't be back for these pellet bedding bags when TSS opens; I would come back for all the rabbit chew toys and supplies they have. I was checked out quickly and on my way.

This flagship Patagonia store, which is located next-door to their corporate headquarters slightly…read moreto the northwest, is done so well and really exudes the same Patagonia style that you see in their products. To give some context you will see Great Pacific Iron Works written across the top of the store, which was Patagonia's first store, opened in 1973 in the former Hobson meat-packing plant, near Chouinard's blacksmith shop, which is another product line and name you'll see often in their clothing. This part of Ventura is extremely sleepy so it's very easy to find a free street spot and there is also some EV charging available as well. The staff here is very friendly and always very attentive so it's one of the best parts about visiting. There are many different rooms inside divided by product type and there is even a tiny little museum area with all sorts of pictures and facts about the former building and Ventura. One of my favorite things about coming here is they tend to have some Ventura specific, or limited run products that you won't see in some of their larger bigger city stores. So you can really find some stuff that would otherwise be hard to find online or out of state. I try to stop here every time I pass through Ventura and would recommend to anyone else to do the same. They have products for men, women, and children, so there really is something for everyone.

Patagonia, what are you doing?…read more Trying to sue Pattie Gonia--a drag queen activist who has helped raise millions of dollars for environmental causes and inspired countless people to care about protecting our planet--is a terrible look. This isn't punching up. It's a corporation targeting someone whose work has brought attention, energy, and funding to the very issues Patagonia claims to care about. Pattie Gonia has built a platform around environmental advocacy, inclusion, and getting more people engaged in the outdoors. If your response to that is litigation, it raises serious questions about your priorities and shallow ego The message this sends is that protecting a trademark matters more than supporting the broader environmental movement and the people helping drive it forward. Whether that's your intention or not, that's how many people will see it. Drop the lawsuit....... Listen to the overwhelming public response. Because brand loyalty is built on trust, and people don't easily forget when a company appears to go after an activist whose mission aligns so closely with its stated values.

I've been coming here since they opened and even buy a lot of their products online, their clothing is quality and the sizing is true to fit so that I can trust purchasing shirts online from them, which is such a nice consistent perk that's hard to find nowadays. I love the entire vibe of this store. It's rock n roll, adventure, and nature focused. They have plenty of gear for your needed camping accessories, clothing and ride ware. If outdoors shenanigans isn't your speed, don't worry, they have plenty of ready to wear cute clothing and such for those who want to look badass but aren't necessarily riding off into the sunset on their bike. They have a perfect balance for both kinds of customers. I love that their inventory and styles change regularly but that they also know what sells and keep purchasing items that are similar but updated for the season. For example I can always count on them getting cool new logo / graphic shirts, candles, and jackets but new styles to keep it fresh. The staff have all always been nice here and helpful. It's always felt like a very welcoming vibe here and I've never had an issues. Honestly their customer service is what keeps me coming back. The store is always well stocked and clean, a great place to shop. I've found so many goodies here over the years. I have many of their graphic shirts, candles, room sprays, home goods and even purchased one of my favorite small little blades from them. If you haven't been to iron and resin yet in downtown Ventura you must definitely go!
