While working he explained everything to me and provided additional suggestions on how to organize my main electrical box. I think we finally found our go-to electrician in the Antelope Valley with Ballard Electric. We selected Ballard Electric to install fans and lighting on our back patio and are very happy with the results. Having had worked in the construction industry years ago, it was clear early on that Rodney was a step above the other electricians we had provide us quotes. He listened to what we wanted, provided an estimate for what we asked for, and identified an alternative that cost less but worked better for our space (we went with his alternative). He was also the only one that measured out the job during the initial walk through in order to provide an accurate assessment of materials. While not the cheapest quote we received, we were pretty confident that he would treat our job as if it was his own. Sometimes you have to pay a bit more to get real quality work - and I feel like that's what we got. Rodney was extremely personable, demonstrated an attention to detail that satisfied my homeowner OCD, worked with us throughout the job, and was incredibly responsive. (Example: When we were selecting the fans, Rodney corresponded via email, text messages, and phone calls the same or next-day to review our choices and provide feedback to ensure we purchased what would work best in the space.)
