Definitely worth the money to stay here. We had trailer 13. it was immaculate. It had a loft bed and a bedroom. We were just 2 people so we slept up I the loft. The Queen bed was really comfortable. The managers, Jim and Sandy were very nice. There is also an adorable and friendly cat on the property. The trailer was well stocked with pots, pans, oil and some spices. It had a coffee maker, fridge, full kitchen, utensils, etc. The location is fairly convenient to Canyonlands and Arches. For any photographers, there are some cool photo opportunities, as Thomasville is an old ghost town. The only thing I would say that could be improved is that there was a bright light that shined directly into our bedroom window. The Windows had blinds but they didn't keep out the light very well. It made it kind of difficult to sleep. Not sure if the other bedroom had this issue. 2. Just an FYI, there is a train that runs through town and blows its horn at about 4am. It was kind of a cool authentic experience and didn't really disturb our sleep.

I don't usually give a park 5 stars but the park is clean, quiet (there is an occasional train) and the site spaces are 100' long and wide enough to handle huge rigs like my 65' train. Parks that can't handle us are still out there & since there are more & more of us who are full timers, and have larger rigs because this is our home, park owners should wake up & smell the coffee. They allow campfires in their rings which is nice. The cost per day here is also reasonable. $30 for 30 amp & $32 for 50 amp full hookups. Sites are gravel and fairly level. They also have a weekly rate of $160, which is 5 days paid & 2 free. $23 a day is a really good deal, especially in this area. The park is fairly close to I70 but far enough away you don't hear the traffic.

The owner gave us the 411 on a great unpaved road nearby.

Great RV Park! This is a quiet, simple little spot 30-45 minutes from Arches and Moab. Power is steady and solid, water pressure was amazing, and the sites were near fully level. Amenities include beautiful bathrooms with showers, laundry, and cable. The owners are super friendly and helpful and made our stay wonderful. We stayed for a full month with 3 other families and we were able to lure 2 more to stay with us. We didn't get our fill of Arches, Canyonlands, Moab, or Dead Horse and without a doubt we would happily spend another month at Ballard.

Nice amount of gravel in the spaces keeps the desert dust to a minimum.

The WiFi was terrible. The rates were cheap though. Nice people. We would stay there again.

Very accommodating and super nice at the front office. Bathrooms are extremely clean and the sides are clean as well. I highly recommend.

Couldn't access WiFi, but our visit was short. Water, Electric and dump is what was needed. Thanks!

As for us, we ran around the valley, played hide and seek, marveled at how these "goblins" were made and just had a great adventure with the time we had.

It's great the way it is. Just a few notes: -- the campsite is just amazing; you are nestled in among caves and washes, and your kids can merrily wander off "to the kids cave" or climb up onto a crest and watch the sunset or the rhythm of the campsite. They do have a shared bathroom with running water, which keeps the place just civilized enough for moderately experienced car campers. -- at the same time, this place is really remote. If you realize at campside that your propane stove doesn't work, you would have to drive an hour each way to Green River to get more. The city lights are far far far away, and the desert sky is clear, so you can see so so many stars. And if you sit and stare at them you see more. The only place I have ever seen so many stars in my life is standing on the side of the road outside Marfa, TX. -- two decades ago this was one of the first camping trips of my life, and it remains a special place in my heart.

It was nice to have a pool (although they should really extend their hours and stay open later-8pm pool close is too early when the sun is still cooking. Now for the not so good- where to start :( The staff was never around when folks seemed to need them- I always saw people looking for someone who worked there. The women's bathroom was just unreal how gross it was. I truly think the only thing the staff did daily was empty the trash and refill toilet paper and one of the two paper towel dispensers. Never once cleaned or attempted to clean any of the three showers, sinks or toilet's. The little store they have closed nightly at 7, sometimes sooner. Which really wasn't convenient if you wanted a treat after dinner like an ice cream or adult beverage. You really have to plan ahead. We just went to town, but would have rather supported the camp ground and stayed there. Overall - this could be an AMAZING place. Just needs more staff, and a little more TLC- We would go back if we heard of improvements.
