Alright so listen... yes, the train is close. Yes the train is loud. Would you rather stay in town with all the people that stay up all night with all the people and kids? Or would you rather deal with a train that hails it's horn twice before it comes by, and that sound lasts 20 seconds? This park is walking distance from the petroglyphs ( maybe it's a hike more than a walk) and literally walking distance from the gas station 7/11 for all your needs. It's a small park, so it feels intimate. The owners are incredibly friendly. If you're looking for a place to stay that's close to historic sites, driving distance to national parks, and all the things, this is def the place.

This was an awesome place to stay. Really cool vibe and I had a nice time exploring the ghost town and nearby state and national parks. They did a great job with covid and I didn't really interact with anyone the entire time I was there. A great spot for someone looking to get away from people and explore the desert.

    RV Park? You're kidding right?

I stayed at an Airbnb in this RV park for a night while on a road trip going from Capitol reef to…read moreCanyonlands NP. Honestly wasn't mad at all -- it was one of the permanent RVs and it was very comfortable! I found the place relatively easily since my bnb host gave very detailed instructions. It comes with a parking spot and easy to follow instructions to get in as well. It had indoor plumbing, hot water, fully working kitchen accessories (including a small oven which I didn't use but was nice to have access to!) and a space heater in the bedroom. That heater was essential because it does get COLD at night if you don't use the central air system. The heater worked great though, my little room stayed a nice 73F although the rest of the place did get cold overnight. Of note - the walls are (obviously) THIN. It stormed/sleeted overnight and was windy so I could actually feel the place shaking. It was loud too but I always travel with ear plugs and those combined with an eye mask made it so I could easily fall asleep even though I did feel shaking from time to time with the wind. So come prepared! But otherwise I felt very safe/secure and comfortable. Would definitely stay again on a road trip :)

We enjoyed our stay and would be back if ever in the area.

Location A+ I want to share the good first, so I will continue with that. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was quiet at night, everyone respected the quiet and guests were respectful. All the RV spots are pull through so no fighting with your spouse on backing up your camper. - haha. It was nice to have a pool (although they should really extend their hours and stay open later-8pm pool close is too early when the sun is still cooking. Now for the not so good- where to start :( The staff was never around when folks seemed to need them- I always saw people looking for someone who worked there. The women's bathroom was just unreal how gross it was. I truly think the only thing the staff did daily was empty the trash and refill toilet paper and one of the two paper towel dispensers. Never once cleaned or attempted to clean any of the three showers, sinks or toilet's. The little store they have closed nightly at 7, sometimes sooner. Which really wasn't convenient if you wanted a treat after dinner like an ice cream or adult beverage. You really have to plan ahead. We just went to town, but would have rather supported the camp ground and stayed there. Overall - this could be an AMAZING place. Just needs more staff, and a little more TLC- We would go back if we heard of improvements.

This review is for the tent camping, not the cabin or other rental options here (now HTR Moab)…read more The tent area is right next to the highway and it is LOUD since the trucks are engine braking downhill and shifting gears to go uphill. We stayed here two nights and slept terribly. Even with the free earplugs, we couldn't get a good nights sleep. Everything is so close together you also have no space from your neighbors. When we arrived someone else was encroaching in our site. The shared kitchen and bathroom facilities are nice, hence the 2 instead of 1 star.

The mattresses are what you'd expect for staying off somewhere, not too hard but not too soft. We brought our own pillows so I can't speak to those. The bathroom has hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. We didn't use the community areas, but the setup looks great and it has a grill. Cons: Cleanliness is lacking, there are cobwebs throughout. The floor needs a good vacuuming and a heavy mopping done. It looks like only spot cleaning is done when guests leave the property. Seeing the lack of cleanliness made me question if our sheets had actually been washed and that's a gross feeling. The bath tub has no stopper, but using a wash rag worked just fine. The hot water is lacking. A quarter of the way filling the tub the water turned cold, and it took a good 45 minutes for the water to heat back up. With three people needing to bathe/shower, it was problematic and very disappointing after a long day of being out in Arches N.P. Be sure to watch a YouTube video on the Hamilton Beach Brew Station coffee pot before using or you will have watered down cold coffee. Unfortunately, I did this after making our coffee, and wasted the coffee grounds and collagen powder I had brought. There is a lot of road noise, so if you're a light sleeper bring ear plugs. I don't think we will be back here again for the price we paid.

Even having paid reservations at Devils Garden inside Arches NP we decided to extend our stay because after the balloon ride the temperature rose to over 100 and Devils Garden doesn't have electricity The park itself met our expectations and it has everything we needed but it is in the desert so it is not a pretty resort but the people that work the store and the campground are without a doubt the most accommodating people we ever met, the lady that runs this place allowed us to stay on the same site for the second and third night even if they ended up moving the people that had reserved to a different site due to our medical emergency Grateful for what they did when we needed it, 115 stars to this campground We would come back anytime when in the area
