Then proceeded to wash our 2 dogs--one of which is an Australian Shepherd, and if you know the breed, you know they have a lot of hair. We finished up about an hour after we PAID, walked out of the store, and let the dogs use the bathroom before heading home. (We were on vacation and had a 4-hour drive ahead.) Out of nowhere, LINDA came outside and yelled across the lot, "Would you like to pay for those dog washes!!" We explained that we HAD paid and that I had the receipt. I, a 27-year-old woman, walked over, calmly showed the receipt, and explained everything. LINDA then SNATCHED the receipt out of my hand and REFUSED to give MY RECEIPT BACK. She walked toward the store with it, and my fiancée took it from her and told her to never do that again. LINDA responded by calling him a "faggot"--a bystander saw and heard the entire thing. Thankfully, KEVIN, the store manager, stepped in and handled the situation like a true professional. KEVIN offered a full refund for both washes, which we declined because all we really wanted was a direct and sincere apology from LINDA. Instead, LINDA gave us a sarcastic apology--with a big smile on her face--while holding and squeezing both our hands, making it feel more belittling than sincere. I'm only writing this because the situation was completely blown out of proportion, and we left feeling disrespected and deeply disappointed. Thank you again, KEVIN, for doing what you could--but management may want to seriously reconsider who represents your business.

I spent around 40 minutes trying to order ONE item because the website constantly froze, failed to load pages, and kept popping up messages asking if I wanted to exit because the page wasn't responding. I had to keep clicking in and out of pages just to get anything to work. The site is slow, confusing, and frustrating to navigate. After wasting that much time, having the order randomly canceled without communication made the entire experience even worse. What really pushed it over the edge was going into the store afterward and talking to an employee in Southwest Florida. The employee literally said, "They don't care about the websites. Historically Smith's Grocery store for many years, we were also here when they opened as a feed and Hardware store in 1980 then later renamed Antioch Feed and Farm supply. It's in a well known Historical building where a commercial film was once staged. This is the only such store anywhere near this community.
