Just got home attending my friend's daughter 6th birthday! first, parking, not a lot parking and…read moreshared with other businesses. located on the 2nd floor, stairs are located on the left side of the building (near papa john's). the place is just enough for less than 10 girls. they have a lot of costumes for kids, my daughter was kinda stress not finding one for her size (size 16) but she did and even made 2 outfits change. They have a rack for grown ups too! not a lot of shoe options but the accessories are endless! first, after all the girls are done changing, lisa did their hair using gel, pins, hairspray. the other lady did their make up ( a simple blush-using cotton pads, lips (using qtips) and eye make up glitters. She also painted their nails. Every one get their picture taken first.. After that, the girls sat down on the dining table with Lisa teaching them proper etiquette and table manners. the birthday girl have the bell to ring if the guests need more food. they all have individual teapot with lemonade, cheese, crackers, carrots, grapes, sausages, pb and j, tuna sandwiches. in the end, the bday girl blew her cupcake cake and every one got a cupcake with animal crackers and gummy worms on the side. my daughter is 8 and she had fun. i was busy taking pictures, and lisa also gave us (parents) some crackers, cheese, lemonade and grapes. on the other side of the tea party set-up is her store where she sells used clothes that was fixed or pre-loved. i know, the place is kinda old but the kids doesn't mind and at the end of the day, it's their happiness that matters! i think if u have a kid less than 5 years old she would absolutely love it! it was fun. and for me, i get to just relax for 2 hours.. (that's the kind of bday party i want) lol..

As I taped up my daughter's 5th portrait from Lisa Rose, I realized a review is long overdue …read more.. we've attended both birthday parties and taken advantage of their drop in "open house" events. This place never gets old for the girls :) You enter this charming dress up doll house and the magic begins ... the girls pick the perfect frock, shoes, jewelry, purse, wand, etc. & then each gets their makeup, nails, and hair done. Lots of giggles, posing, and princess fun ensues They next walk the runway, strike some poses, and get a official Lisa Rose portrait taken :) Then off to the tea party on the big Alice in Wonderland dressed table ... the girls get treated to the whole shebang of tea party fun along with some fun etiquette quizzing and practice. If you attend or throw a party crafting is part of the itinerary. Parking has never been a problem in the lot in front and they do have their own restroom facilities in house. The flower leis are fresh, not wilted, well-made, and are about $16 for a classic orchid lei. I did not see floral arrangements when I stopped by, but I was there in the afternoon/early evening. They carry A LOT of well-designed and well-made local products like Aloha Collection Tyvek bags, Paradise Now keychains, and luxurious bath items. They also have a nice collection of colored gel pens that write really smoothly (I'll be back when I use up my fave Muji pens!). Kudos to the buyer for this lovely boutique gift shop! You know I'll be back. Tip: Park in the Miller parking lot off the main hospital entrance off of Punchbowl. Parking is typically $3. (Free with validation if you're there for a procedure/surgery. The ladies here are a delight so friendly and helpful one item in particular was the Happy Pill as a lady entered and stated how she's been looking for them everywhere and was happy to have found them here as she wanted to gift these cutes as their giggles would make anyone smile. Lots of fun themed items are found here not much snacks where I think the Rotunda Coffee is the place for that but flowers and accessories galore with a rack with some clearance items along with some Happy Pills literally is a great place to gift that special someone. Dania (Head Coordinator) and Jenna (my Wedding Coordinator) we're very attentive to my needs and wants in such a short amount of time, especially during COVID! Dania would reach out to me every month, and she would let me know the updates and regulations in Hawaii. Plans kept changing whether we needed to postpone our wedding date or elope. Luckily, around April-May 2021, rules were slowly being lifted and we ended up keeping our original wedding date! They really helped us out a lot, even on the small details! They're so fun and laid back and that's what I really love about them. My husband and I really enjoyed our wedding and we appreciate Dania's and Jenna's help! I forgot Jenna's assistant's name, but she was a big help as well! I love their hospitality I would recommend them to any family members or close friends that are thinking of getting married in Oahu. Just love that Workshop 28 has found a home in Pearlridge Center Mauka side on the second floor which is in the spot formerly occupied by Express so you know that it a lovely and spacious shop. The layout is quite spacious so it's so easy to browse the various merchandise they have which is quite a lot and I'm just so impressed with how creative each various items are. Known for the fun coasters that has makes a great gift to pair of any item, the hats that has built in Mickey ears are just so fun and entertaining but the luggage strap that has the built in TSA lock is super cute and makes searching for your bags easier and secure as well. The staff is just a delight as we chatted for a bit and the uniqueness they carry is appreciated for everyone and every room in your home which is something found only right here in Hawaii...supporting local small biz is something that I do love and right here they have that and so much more. It's Filipino tradition to release doves at our wedding. I had my wedding planner search for dove…read morereleases in Oahu. It took quite some time. Luckily, she was able to find Maureen! She offered either 2 or 12 doves. There's nothing in between, just those 2 options. For our wedding, 2 doves is all we need. The price that she quoted was reasonable, which is why we decided to go with her. She doesn't respond to e-mail that quick, but she is great on the phone. My planner is the one who deals with her directly. This is the sense that I get from their communication. She doesn't accept credit card, just check. I just decided to hire her, and I am sending off the check in the mail today. UPDATE: The doves were at my wedding in time for our ceremony, and we were able to have them be part of our ceremony. My wedding planner was able to connect with them to make all of this seamless. During the ceremony, they patiently waited to the side, and when the time came for us to release the doves, they instructed us on how to do it! I have no complaints. Everything was perfect and beautiful!
