Nice diner with a baseball theme. Prompt friendly service. My eggs were delivered just like I ordered them. The biscuits were fresh and home made but not my favorite. I like a southern buttermilk biscuit. The facilities are in need of some paint. I'll return when I'm in the area; however, I'll not go too far out of my way.

Five stars for me! I love mom and pop "joints" with simple food, prepared well, and at a good price. My mom brought me here for dinner one afternoon when I was visiting town. There were lots of menu items that caught my attention, but I opted for the Hot Roast Beef Sandwich with fries, about $9.00. The roast beef was served with two slices of white bread (one on the top, one on the bottom), smothered in lots of brown gravy. Very tasty and filling. Our server was very contentious. Nothing fancy about The Ballpark, just good food. Lots of old Orioles and Ravens memorabilia for the Baltimore sports enthusiast. Highly recommend.

Over easy with sausage and potatoes. Sausage gravy on the potatoes.

Best breakfast place in town. Fresh made biscuits and sausage gravy every day. If you're in the are it is a must try. Joe and Leann run a great ship.

This review is based on take out experience only. Online ordering is a snap! The online menu is organized, very detailed and easy to read. You can prepay or pay at pickup. The entrance is on the side of the building. It was very busy with dine-in customers. I had ordered the seafood platter which includes two sides of your choice, along with tartar and cocktail sauces. It was neatly packaged and came with utensils and napkins. High marks for not using styrofoam. The food was ready at the promised time. The waitress who rang up our order was friendly. Even though it took about 10 minutes to get home after picking up my order, the food was still warm and the breaded items still had a crispy texture. The portion size was enough for two adults who aren't completely starving to share. I would have liked it if the platter included a couple lemon slices. I'll be sure to ask the next time. I'm glad this locally-owned eatery survived the dismal pandemic and is up and running, and hopefully thriving once again!

    Well covered

Since…read morewe were hungry for seafood, we ordered several things: 1/2 pound of shrimp, fresh grilled fish, crab hush puppies, raw oysters and clams. Everything was great. Probably my favorite things were the crab hush puppies, and the fresh fish, served with pineapple. The entrees came with two sides. Therefore, I tried four sides. The French fries and potato salad were really good. The fresh vegetables had onions in it. I am not a big onion fan. The coleslaw was good. Next time, I will order the fish, with just one side- the potato salad was very large. For an appetizer, I will get the clams again, and the crab hush puppies. Yelp was so helpful guiding me to the hush puppies. The chef prepared our food outstandingly. Coral was are very friendly server. A nice meal with an outstanding server and a view of the water made for an excellent day. The host and the people helping out to clear the table were very nice, also. The vibe at the restaurant was a tropical beach feeling. People were dressed casually, mostly in t-shirts.

It adds to the atmosphere and I hope that they never remodel. It's like walking back in time. There is ample parking and an entrance for the bar or dining room. The staff is super friendly and attentive even when they are very busy. There are lots of regulars and you can see that this place is a staple in the community based on the relaxed atmosphere and down to earth hospitality. They have pit beef/turkey/ham on weekends that are served on homemade rolls. They also have platter options. The menu also offers other things for lunch, as well as sides. The dinner menu has many other offerings as well. The bar has 6 beers on tap, as well as many other can/bottle options. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. Lots of items are homemade. The portions are good and the taste of what we ordered was great. Definitely a place worth the stopping by.

Yesterday was pit beef day but an outside sign "Best Corned Beef in Harford County" (paraphrased) tantalized me. I followed my buddy's lead and ordered the Wargo's Reuben. Thin sliced, no fat and probably the BEST Reuben I've had not just in Harford county but Metro Baltimore as well. Amazing! Wargo's, I understand, sources from a butcher in PA and not the kosher houses near Baltimore. The accompanying potato chips and pickle slices made the Sammy more enjoyable. Service friendly and top notch. Prices on the menu are reasonable and competitive. Atmosphere warm and inviting. For me at least, Wargo's is worth the 25 mile ride. Why did they leave Parkville anyway?

The server (Kyle) was terrific. He kept our water glasses full and provided suggestions/recommendations. The food we had was good. We started with a bowl of tomato crab bisque. The bisque is really thick, with a rich tomato taste and bits of crab in every mouthful. My partner and I split the bowl. It's really rich and very filling. My partner got the house salad with crab cake ($11 for the crab cake). What? They are from Maryland but they are having Crab cake in Pennsylvania? Are they mad? No, it's a really good crab cake for that price point. Lots of crab and the cake was prepared well. No regrets! I had the turkey Reuben with fries. Delicious. I like that the fries are hand cut. Good texture, not oily. A good amount of turkey in the sandwich. Really good sandwich overall. Looking at surrounding tables, other sandwiches and items looked good. The whole experience - food, service and atmosphere - was great. Highly recommend this spot. Sadly, too full for ice cream. : (
