Our table split a couple apps: baked brie (best item), Caesar salad (meh), crispy brussels (burnt and dry, needed more sauce and less time in the oven, tasted charred), escargot (good, nice garlic butter sauce). Chose this lovely place on a whim for a quick Saturday morning brunch based on reviews alone and was not disappointed to say the least. The service was excellent and elevated our shared experience of baked brie and brunch cocktails followed by individual choices of the S'mores french toast, baked avocado and the brunch burger. Great location for this little gem. It is very small so make reservations. There is a bar area that only seats 4 and ample parking along the street or in public lots nearby. Service is good and they are very attentive. Our water glasses were never empty. Server very well acquainted with the menu and they even have specials off the menu. Menu doesn't have tons of choices, but makes sense when everything is prepared fresh and what is on the menu is done extremely well. First, drinks... yum! They have a terrific happy hour deal. That is worth a visit on its own. It's pretty spectacular and the drinks are great. The good news is you can get the HH without sitting at the bar. We had an Old Fashion, a Lemon Raspberry Martini, a Lemon Drop martini, a Sidecar, and a Carajillo. All were well made and delicious. The Carajillo was amazing - better than an espresso martini!! The food was wonderful. First course was the Baked Avocado, Cream of Crab soup, and the mussels which weren't on the regular menu as they were a special. The Avocado was fabulous and not too heavy. The mussels were in a delicious broth. Cream of crab was good but not worth the $21 a bowl (just average as you would get anywhere else). Second course was Filet Mignon, Shrimp and Crab, and House Made Pork Sausage Pappardelle. All were delicious and served with sides that elevated the flavors. The filet is a fav! The portions were a great dinner size and not overwhelmingly huge. We skipped dessert, but they were all great choices. We had previously had their s'mores which is a must try! They do have good coffee as well. Great location, intimate setting, nice people and a wonderful place to visit for a wonderful meal. Worth visiting. Be prepared as they are pricey (over $300 for 4 people). It's odd because their Happy Hour is just such a steal for the craft cocktails available (I guess gets you in the door). Perhaps sit at the bar for HH and just get drinks for a reasonable option. Maybe throw in a charcuterie board to snack on while enjoying the libations. For sure will be back. read more

One Eleven Main was easy to get to with a big parking lot just around the corner. It's cute and quaint and has a nice ambiance. They have a small menu, but sometimes that's nice not having to make so many decisions and usually that means the courses are quite good. I ordered the peartini, which was good but didn't have strong pear flavor. They brought out bread with our starters (3 pieces for 2 people - I never understand that!) which was tasty and my salad course was delicious. My husband really liked his soup too! For our entrees, he got the filet mignon which he said was excellent, but my shrimp and crab with gnocchi dish was disappointing. I think the sauce broke so it was swimming in oil. I tried to eat the pieces off the top and the shrimp were huge and gnocchi very soft and flavorful, but I couldn't get over the amount of oil. For dessert, he got the crème brûlée which he enjoyed and I got the s'mores. Mine was good, but the chocolate was very thick and heavy. I was hoping for a lighter mousse to end my meal instead. Overall we had a nice time and enjoyed our date night out, but I think the food is a bit inconsistent. read more

My husband & I had dinner at One Eleven Main for the first time last night, and it was a fabulous dining experience! The hostess was genuinely friendly, and even took our coats for us. Our waitress, Katie, was super sweet and very attentive. For a small menu, One Eleven Main is impressive-- the cuisine was elegant but not pretentious, just like its atmosphere. The baked brie is to die for, and our main dishes (filet mignon and the rainbow trout) were so tasty and beautifully plated. The Tuesday/Wednesday 2 or 3 course special is perfectly priced, including the happy hour drinks and $8 glasses of house wine or sangria. (The house rosé was delicious!) What an amazing experience! My husband surprised me with a short getaway for the weekend and we went to one eleven main for dinner on Thursday. The ambiance is so cute! The downtown street is quaint, narrow and still manages to have enough parking! The restaurant has a patio as well as seating indoors. We had a lovely table in the window and a wonderfully attentive waitress who made the night amazing! We couldn't go without trying the baked baby Brie, which I haven't seen in YEARS and it was served with baked pears and compote. There weren't enough toast points but our waitress quickly brought more. YUM. I'll admit that Brie is an acquired taste, but I have acquired it lol. The Brie was amazingly filling but we also sampled their house bread which is absolutely amazing! It would be enough to start on were it not for the small plates that cannot be left unsampled! For our entrees my husband went with the filet and I tried the house special: snakehead over grits with succotash. My goodness it was awesome! I've never tried snakehead before and I must admit it had a very mild taste, was flaky, and didn't have any pretentiousness in the preparation! It was excellent. My husband said it was the best steak he's had, high praise indeed for a man who eschews meat when given any other option! My husband had purchased a custom cake for the occasion and the waitress brought it out, lit, and even took pix for us! Been to one eleven main a few times for work functions which have been all pleasant experiences so l took my boyfriend here for valentines day dinner. Reserved a table approximately a week ahead of time. Food is always top notch and I've never had a dish I didn't like here. Raw Oysters are a must try if you get the chance. The crispy Brussels and Scallops are also amazing, scallops come with seasonal veggies (sides will vary usually based on season). This place is small and very cozy and makes for the perfect date spot, with that being said, I have a love hate relationship with how small it is, I appreciate the intimacy it provides but I also leave smelling like the kitchen each time since it's small and so close to the kitchen. Regardless, I very much so recommend this place and it is my favorite spot in this area. read more

We just had another amazing dinner at one eleven! They had a tomahawk special which was a huge hit and SO delicious, best steak in a while. This place is so over rated! The atmosphere sucks. It is VERY loud, to the point where the people sitting across from us could not be heard because of the noise and how close every is. The menu was outrageously priced. I ordered the Soft Shell Shrimp and Grits for a mere $44.00 or $46.00. They served me a small amount of grit, a tiny shoft shell crab that had been fried and three medium sized shrimp. The grits were in a red tomato sauce that was spicy. My wife ordered the Cauliflower Steak which she thought was a steak with cauliflower. Instead it was a slice from a head of cauliflower, two cherry tomatoes and half a piece of asparagus which was priced at a mere $36. There was no steak. My brother in law had the pork tenderloin which was three small pieces of pork tenderloin that was a steal at $46.00. We also had appetizers. I had the brie, which looked like a quarter chunk of a regular piece of brie, with a few things on top. Only $19. For dessert we had the lemon parfait which had three slivers of strawberry, some whip cream and a bit of lemon parfait at the bottom. My recommendation is to stay away from this noisy, over priced place for some reasonably proced restaurant that actually serves you a meal. read more

Solid brunch in downtown Bel Air! Came with a friend right when they opened at 11 on a Saturday morning. We were seated in a little sunny nook in the restaurant which was nice. I ordered the smash burger which comes with bacon, brie, an over-easy egg, and potatoes and fruit on the side. The waiter told me the burger is house-made with rib-eye and filet, yum! I dug in way too quickly and forgot to take a pic!! Portions were large and I took the fruit home with me. Drink prices are also really fair ($5-6 per drink for what we got) and they have some variety besides just bloody marys/mimosas. I got a bloody mary and a grapefruit spritz and enjoyed both. We happened to come here on a Wednesday evening when they had a 3-course $42 dinner. My sister had been here several other times and loved it. My opinion: one of the best restaurants I have been to in a year. Wowed me. Dinner special just made it amazing. Best app: Lobster Thermador. But Brussels and escargot were right there. Best dinner: Duck. But red snapper and filet mignon were right there. Best dessert: bread pudding. But pecan cake and lemon custard were right there. Sum: food was A plus. This is a great restaurant for a date night. I've come here multiple times for lunch and the food and service are always great.

My first time here and we had a great experience. We started with a round of manhattans and they were made so well. Three of us had the heirloom tomato salad and it was outstanding. I had the mushroom arancini and they were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and came out hot. My boyfriend had the duck breast, which was cooked perfectly. My dad had the ribeye special and loved it. The service was great as well. We will be back! read more

My husband and I dined for lunch to celebrate our anniversary and unfortunately we were sorely disappointed. Wrote a review on Open Table but not sure if this restaurant's management will read or respond. Our reservation was at 12:30. The Bloody Mary I ordered was tasteless the mix actually tasted bad. We were also appalled when we ordered bread or crackers to go with soup and server brought us a toasted hamburger bun!! *Soup was not good. Server described it as a crab and corn chowder and it had no corn. A cream based greenish soup that had a very sweet (sugar?) taste. The few pieces of crab meat were welcome. * Shrimp Salad was tasteless- my husband wanted to ask for old bay but we didn't want to offend. * Service was mediocre. She forgot part of our order, gave the soup spoon to my husband instead of myself. She never cleared my soup bowl/plate away - it remained until my husband had to get her attention to bring our check. Server was more attentive to her friends than us. We had to flag her down to get our check. Meanwhile she was hugging and laughing with other guests who looked like her friends. We felt ignored and overlooked. This is NOT Fine Dining! We then started going to other restaurants and realized nothing had matched the quality of food and ambiance that One Eleven Main offers. We've had a series of tragedies in the family so thought we'd get away for an escape. Unfortunately it was an uncomfortable and disappointing experience. Food was over cooked and dry. Restaurant seemed to have an AC failure. We were sweating bullets through $60 meals. Last, waitress was rude, condescending, and clearly didn't want to be there. I know we all have bad nights (I've been in food service 15 years), but being condescending and rude is never okay. The host was very lovely. She was a bright spot. We ordered the brussel sprouts and liver for our starters. The brussels were over fried to the point of dryness. It's a sad trend to see what restaurants are doing to brussel sprouts :( Not much flavor. The liver mousse was pretty bland. Also surprisingly, we weren't given anything to spread the liver on so I just ate it with a fork. Not appetizing looking, under seasoned. Not much flavor. Feels very clumsy for fine dining. After two bad appetizers I didn't have hope for the remainder. We just ate the food and tried to get out quick. The crab cake / soft shell meal was the real disappointment. The crab cake was over cooked and dry, and I didn't see any lump meat--all filler and backfin. For a $60 meal I expected some blue crab but I also should know better I guess. The soft shell was very sad--no seasoning to speak of. I've had way better soft shells from dive bars and mom and pop places. I laughed when I got the receipt and saw this meal was $59 because I knew I was conned. The rest of the plate is basically garnish. They didn't season the vegetables. My husband's filet was okay. He asked for no mushrooms and of course this is the kind of place that can't bear the thought of such a request lol. They gave him mushrooms anyway of course. My boyfriend and I made a reservation for the weekend before Valentine's Day on a Saturday. When we first walked in, we received weird looks and it was an unsettling experience. We expected this because my boyfriend is black and the majority of customers at that time were white and reviews have specified this in the past. Overall for food, I thought it was great. I had the seafood house pasta which was delicious and my boyfriend thought the steak was good but slightly overpriced. The drinks were more than exceptional (margarita and Chardonnay). The atmosphere was unfortunately much different from what we were expecting. It was so loud that we couldn't hear each other or even the waitress when she asked if we wanted freshly cracked pepper and the tables were placed close together. But what really "topped" our experience was the piece of sharp plastic I found in my s'mores dessert! I was so surprised when I spit it out into my napkin. I'm not exaggerating when I say this piece of plastic could've damaged my esophagus because of how sharp and big it was. If I hadn't thoroughly chewed my food it could've been a real health hazard. I wanted to take a picture but we already felt out of place here and didn't want to draw more attention to ourselves, plus it had dark lighting so I would've had to use the flash to get it. Needless to say, we won't be returning. If you're a POC, I'd recommend other local places and the health department needs to be contacted in all honesty. Really disappointing! UPDATE: I contacted the health department and the restaurant was inspected on 2/14/2023. The employee said the object in my food was most likely a piece a hardened gelatin that's used for another dish but I'm still skeptical. I've never seen this type of gelatin before but it's supposed to dissolve when in water and didn't dissolve in my mouth so I don't know what that's about. I guess it's up to people to decide for themselves but I still won't return to this restaurant. If I was worried for my health over this "gelatin" then that's enough for me to never go back. read more
