I avoided this place due to reviews, and that was a mistake. It looks like an old, outdated, worn out bar with crinkled menus, tears in the dining room booth seats, and an "this must've been nice 20 years ago". Even my cup looked like it had been around for decades and probably used by a thousand people. But, our server was very pleasant and responsive. The menu had several intriguing options at fair and competitive prices. The food didn't take long, about as long as you'd expect for something being made to order. The ultimate ciabatta was great, with what looked like house made tater tots. The turkey and gravy was beautiful and came with pit-smoked turkey, layered delicately and piled high with homemade mashed potatoes and fresh green beans. I wish I hadn't avoided this place. I look forward to returning soon. read more

6/26/2025 The thing that got me to stop here was the fact that I could actually bring my dog and he could sit at the table with me. We pulled into a parking lot with plenty of parking, benches in front of the restaurant and outdoor seating with umbrellas. Makenna our server was so nice and informative letting us know all the specials this place has to offer, we had questions on a few things and she answered every one. I loved having my furson sit and enjoy a meal with me and he killed his burger in a matter of minutes. We started with the Jamaican jerk tenders which were nothing jerk at all but they were seasoned and hot. I got the oysters which didn't have much flavor but were fresh and one that was huge! My partner got a hot dog with beer cheese and fries that he enjoyed and a little lemonade cocktail that was fire. The only note I would have is how long the actual wait was for food. The bar side was pretty full but the actual dining side had one other couple and we were waiting about 25-30 minutes for a few shucked oysters and a hot dog. Absolutely filthy place. The floors looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years. The soles of my shoes were actually sticking to the floor - yikes. The food was reheated Sysco slop. I was absolutely embarrassed taking my date there. The one star was for the server. She was nice and she tried hard, but ugh. She deserves better. Not recommended unless you want ptomaine. Ick. WOW! What a great neo-traditional American food spot! A bar and grill with fun items and pretty exceptional service! Carrie was super helpful when thinking about what we wanted. I've been to Naughty dogs probably 5 times and have had mixed feelings on the service and food. Tonight on the other hand was Fcinfelng' horrible. It's Monday, 530p and the bar is lightly attended, so we grab a few stools. We sat for a few minutes before we were "recognizable" to the staff of 3 bartenders serving maybe 12 checks at best. Note: "recognizable" because the elder female bartender saw me waving. We get menus although they were on the fly......(like the quick I don't want to be at work flyby). We just wanted a beer to ponder over the menu but weren't afforded the opportunity to order. Finally, we catch the eye of the elder female bartender and get our beers ordered. She doesn't return for our order for another 15min and now we're scratching our heads. After placing our food order the meals came out on time which I must add,,,,,although we never saw the bartender again. Ever. We sat and sat with no drinks only to have the other two younger bartenders service customers around us all while ignoring us. At least we felt we were being ignored and it felt very obvious. We felt unwelcomed, unwanted and I have had both decent and not so decent experiences at NDs previously. This service was, Pathetic and Flat out rude! Tonight was a 1/5 stars. On a sad note, JD's Smokehouse closed NDs as the only local bar in Churchville. No thanks!!!!!! I'll drive 10 extra miles to avoid this bar. read more

Stay away from the German shepherd... The food was good. The service was ok-ish. What ruined the evening was the clientele. My friend and I sat down at a table. The next table over had a German shepherd leashed to the table. I had my back to the dog and I felt him come up and sniff my back and, it began barking and growling aggressively. Now I am a dog person, and if my dog did that to someone, I would apologize. But the owners of the dog acted like it was my fault, and kept saying, "our dog just doesn't like something about you." So, in conclusion, I would say that it's your classic dive bar with loose standards as it doesn't have a pet policy and you're treated as an outsider because people don't know you. read more

I had a random craving for a corn dog so I, of course, searched yelp and came across naughty dogs. The reviews are hit or miss so I was a bit skeptical, but would I be a true elite yelper if I didn't check it out for myself? I really liked the vibe here and the staff was friendly. The corn dog came with tots or fries and I went with tots. The corn dog was a little bit too greasy in my opinion, as if it was fried too long. And the tots tasted frozen. I stopped at Naughty Dogs on my way through town. Classic local/ dive bar. I ate at the bar, which was very busy at 2:00pm on a Thursday afternoon. The bartender was very nice and attentive. The local crowd was friendly. I sat at the bar and watched some baseball on their numerous large screen tvs. The bathroom needs some serious help. My sandwich was great. I had a chicken cheese steak. Wings were crispy and juicy, the flavor was great as well. The footling Chicago dog was very good, it was a quality hot dog with all the toppings that make a great Chicago dog. We have been dining at Naughty Dogs for about afew month's now, and my husband and myself eat out at different restaurants every weekend. I love just having hotdogs for a change. This last experience has got us really upset. The outside of the restaurant was very dirty with trash and discarded cig butts everywhere. When he received our soda drinks that glasses never even looked washed, and we even commented to each other how they looked like they were rinsed out in dirty water. It started me worrying about how the food and the plates were being sanitized. The wait staff were very nice young ladies. They aren't the issue. I had mentioned to my husband that if the health department ever walked in there, they would shut them down. He said they just cared about the bar area. I said they they should just make the location just a bar, then. We won't be going back. We eat out every weekend and there's more food locations. read more

The food and drinks are always amazing. but if you plan on sitting at the bar, you may not get served. Ive noticed multiple times now that the women bartenders favorite certain customers and ignore the rest of the bar. I had to try to get one of there attentions to receive my bill (after just waiting for her to come over herself for 20min) i tried simple saying "excuse me?" and got ignored, when I said it again she looked at me, turned around and handed me my check without saying one word. while chatting it up with another customers and being seemingly friendly, I got horrible service and her tip reflected that. I love this restaurant but I'm not going to keep returning if I'm constantly being ignored and treated rudely when I'm coming to spend my money? In any event, after reading the subpar reviews of this place, I decided I need to show it some love because I had a nice time here. Was in town for my high school reunion and the event was held here. The staff was generally very nice, the food they prepared for us (wings, hot beef and turket, bruschetta, etc) was really good. The beer selection was decent and the place was clean and orderly. The only small bit of constructive feedback I would provide is that the bartenders should keep an eye on people needing a drink. The bar was well staffed but I noticed two bartenders chatting while a few people were waiting for drinks and another time, one of the bartenders was texting when myself and two others wanted to order. I don't know how a bar owner monetizes texting but it seems to me you increase revenue by selling drinks. But overall, this was a nice place and I had a great time there. read more

I eat here weekly. Their menu is very eclectic, a mix of pub grub and gourmet specials. The ribs are particularly excellent. If the lobster ravioli is on the special's list, order it! Their soups are also almost always excellent. There are some things I cannot recommend. The cheese steaks are not top notch. Chili is so-so. Hmmmmm Good news is, that's about it! Naughty Dogs was less than spectacular. I came here tonight to catch up with some friends and left the restaurant feeling a little disappointed. Food: We ordered the mini dogs as a an appetizer. Kinda tasted like bowling alley food and the cheese wasn't very good either. I avoided eating the chili. For my meal, I ordered the Chesapeake Sausage which came with crab meat, cheese, and old bay on it. Once again, the cheese was bad. Very fake tasting - kind of that cheese you can buy in the spray bottle. Sausage was okay. Tater tots were good, but it's a little difficult to mess that up. My friends seemed to enjoy their meals, though and the burgers that two of my friends ordered looked good. Drinks: Drinks menu wasn't too bad. Good amount of cocktails and craft beer. The white peach sangria I had was good, and a friend of mine ordered the grapefruit crush, which she really seemed to like. Atmosphere: Even though I had read that the restaurant was completely re done from Bull on the Beach, it was mostly the same. No big changes at all which was a little disappointing. Service: Naughty Dog's saving grace is the service. Our server, Constance was awesome! Very friendly, patient, knowledgable, and personable. She checked in with us often and was on top of drink refills and things of that matter. She was even nice enough to get a group pictures of my friends and I at the beginning. Overall, I wouldn't return to Naughty Dogs. The bowling alley-esque food was really disappointing and the restaurant basically looks the same as it did when it was Bull on the Beach. Only real positive was how awesome our server was. This location can't seem to get it right for restaurants, but hopefully it will one day. read more

For the area, Naughty Dogs is probably a great step up, as the other food options in the area are things like Wawa. But this isn't really a great restaurant - OK, but not great. The interior decor looks like a pared-down Ruby Tuesday's from 1995, and they'll try to make you feel like you're back in that decade with a music playlist that leans heavily on Hootie & the Blowfish, Dave Matthews, and other "classics" of the 1990s. As is to be expected there are several paintings of dogs around the place that look like they may have been sourced from a dollar store. The food is your basic pub fare - burgers, fries, a few salads. I've had the house salad there before - the hard-boiled egg therein had a yolk so gray I wondered if they'd left it in hot water overnight to cook it. It all generally tastes good (after all, it's hard to do food with a lot of grease & salt wrong), but the point is that if you've ever cooked for yourself, you'll spot where they're not quite on their game. The service is also OK, at least in my experience. Pleasant, professional. The restaurant has typically been empty the few times I've been, leading me to wonder whether it starts hopping at night with a crowd of beer-bellied Gen-X locals trying to relive their twenties. Come here to cram your craw with the next step up from a slapped-together sub sandwich; don't expect too much more. You'll have an OK time. read more
