Let's do this again for some drinking money at the Bally's Beach Bar tonight!

Summertime Casino gambling at the shore The sea breezes on the beach Cold beer and potent cocktails Sexy bikini clad waitresses working the deck Drink specials throughout the week Bar food menu to munch on Pumping music and live bands Plenty of seating to hang out on and people watch Hot chicks and meathead guys strutting their stuff on the dance floor A bit pricey but worth the fun beachy scene It's kind of cool in a low-brow way that keeps us coming back whenever we are here for a weekend getaway Oh yeah, we'll be back here this weekend with a frosty brew in hand partying at the shore! Sunglasses on, a drink in hand, enjoying the views Life is good at a casino beach bar in Atlantic City Party on

Maybe it has all to do with us visiting on a Sunday night, but we had a GREAT time. There was no cover and they were mostly playing dancehall and r&b, which went just perfect with the summer breeze. The drinks are very pricey, however when we complained to our waitress she brought out shots to add to our drinks. I felt bad for her working in that tiny bikini, she was shivering the entire time! Ladies wear wedges if you want to wear heels my heel kept getting stuck in the boardwalk panels. Ugh! I absolutely believe the day you visit makes all the difference at this beach bar. Know you will be paying top dollar for weak cocktails but you may have fun dancing in the summer wind. Or heat depending on the time.

The dj was pretty bad, house band was worse, beer was great. The night was pretty much a bunch of white folk dancing while everyone else sat there highly entertained. if i have to listen to "don't stop believing" or "livin on a prayer" again I might just hang myself. 5$ coors light aluminum bottles, nice atmosphere, nice view...not a bad friday night overall ... i'd come again.

    Trash Can Nachos - Yum!

I've been here several times over the years and it's always a good time. The food and drinks are reasonably priced and they offer a decent selection of both alcohol and food. There is also live music. I came here once during Memorial Day Weekend and it was pretty wild. Our waitress was attentive and checked on us multiple times. We had several beers and the Trash Can Nachos - haha. They are actually a lot tastier than the name implies. They come in a ridiculously-sized tub - think of fried chicken tubs from KFC. Yeah. It's a tub of mystery - a little of this and a little of that. You never really know what you are biting into. So anyway, we were at least happy to have something to munch on because after all, we're day drinking at 2-3pm and by the time we left around 5pm, we were pretty buzzed. We would have been wasted but the nachos helped absorb some of the alcohol we consumed haha. Make sure to wear some sunblock if you are going on a sunny day like today - I'm sure I have some new freckles and a slight burn from this afternoon!!! Cheers!

I really like this place. Every time I visit AC I make sure to come here. The drinks and the food are good but what I really like about this place its the live music and that since its on the beach you feel like you are away.

    Live band playing GREAT music!

While walking along the boardwalk you can hear the sounds of top 40 rising up in the air that makes you want to stop and get your dancing on right there on the boardwalk. My friends and I came for drinks and dancing. There was no cover. The drinks were delicious and the music was the best part of the night. Garden State Radio, a cover band, was there performing. The female lead singer was awesome as she would jump off the stage and dance and sing with the people at the bar. SHE WAS REALLY GOOD! There weren't very many people there that night but I'm sure it was because it was a COLD night. When it warms up, I have no doubt this place will be poppin'. Besides, I enjoy dancing much more when I don't have to rub up on sweaty bodies accidentally. ;) This spot was definitely the highlight of my AC trip and I'd rather come here than pay some crazy cover for the Pool After Dark (which we did do the next night).

It was the middle of the day so the place was pretty empty. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very cool. She had some good shows on TV and she poured heavy. The bar had a bunch of funny signs all over the place. It's a chill dive bar and I'm sure on a busy night it's probably a great place to grab an unpretentious drink. We found out we could buy drinks from BS and bring them next door which get you around the whole no alcohol situation. I mean, if you're going to Bare Exposure in the daytime, you might want to grab a stiff drink beforehand.

We were 2 of the only people sitting at the bar with our empty glasses right in front of us waiting (we waited for about 20 minutes). We couldn't believe it! We were given the wrong change and it was just a mess! Hopefully it was just an off night but we unfortunately will not be back.

Well, the "Irish Pub" you know from the Monopoly game is actually this real property, "The Irish Pub and Inn", here on St. James Place in Atlantic City. Also, the game's iconic red hotel design inspired the game's red hotels, making it a real-life landmark for Monopoly fans. During most of the year, this legendary, 24/7 pub is famous for its unique, memorabilia-filled atmosphere and historical ties to AC, the Monopoly game, prohibition, etc., attracting visitors who enjoy its authentic, home-style vibe. But during Christmas, its decorations are on a whole other level of amazingness. Photos will not permit you to understand just how fantastic the volume and scope of lights, ornaments and figurines abound all around the restaurant and bar areas. The owner starts decorating weeks before Christmas adding new items each day through Christmas. You can't miss catching the Christmas spirit here, while taking in some spirits! It is a cash only venue. Make sure to come prepared. But if not? They do have an ATM onsite to help pay for the classic fish and chips or / AND the St James Potatoes. Those fries are like a poutine for those who know. The service is no frills but provided with pride and a smile, always. You can never go wrong here for a quick, basic, and satisfying meal and drink at reasonable prices in good company.

Bartender, mature guy with a good attitude, waits tables too, and is pretty good at it. No nonsense service, we ordered a paloma and a beer with him right away. The food here is excellent! It took awhile to get waters, but our dude got around to it eventually. The salad was cool and fresh but the olive oil and lemon dressing was pure oil. No worries, I used the ranch from the wings and all was good. I liked the shaved Parmesan and the fact that someone took the time to slice the tiny grape tomatoes, precious. Wings were crunchy and spicy in all the right places. The Squire Burger had huge pieces of maple bacon sticking out from two patties cheese and iceberg. The fries were perfect. The bun was fluffy and glistening on top. Beautiful. We were surprised at the small bill, but left very satisfied. Highly recommend!

The menu is a little varied-hamburgers, roast beef sandwiches, crab cakes, soups, and pasta. I had the burger which was delicious followed by the shecrab soup, and banana pudding. The shecrab was full of crab. The pudding was quite good, almost as good as Magnolia's Bakery. They're on Ubereats so I ended up having it delivered to my hotel. It's cute, clean and quiet, with a retro-'90s-gay-bar vibe: The Birdcage playing on multiple TVs and kitschy decor throughout. The staff were friendly and accommodating...until they weren't. We know Atlantic City is an expensive tourist trap, so $18 nachos didn't shock us. We were in the mood for trashy bar food and each ordered a plate: my partner got chicken, I got beef. Before ordering, I specifically confirmed the beef was GROUND beef, not steak, and was assured it was. The nachos were fine, but my "ground beef" was very clearly pre-made hamburger patties--probably frozen--broken into pieces, not seasoned ground beef prepared for nachos. But again: bar food. We also each ordered a $12 dessert: chocolate mousse with whipped cream for him and banana custard for me. What arrived was basically chocolate and banana pudding, likely straight from an industrial can. Okay then. The real problem came with the bill: we were charged an additional $10 for the chicken and $7 for the beef, the latter appearing only as a generic line item. The menu CLEARLY says: "choice of jerk chicken, beef or seasonal veggies." It says absolutely nothing about an upcharge. Everyone understands that if a listed choice costs extra, the menu needs to SAY so. In no world am I paying $28 for nachos with chicken. I brought this to the attention of the bartender and our waiter, and the bartender actually AGREED that the menu clearly says "choice of" implying you choose which one you want on your $18 nachos. The waiter, however, was argumentative and it became very awkward. Ultimately and reluctantly the additional charges were removed, with the caveat that "next time" we visit we will know. There will not be a next time. :\

2-Star Review -- Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill, Caesars Atlantic City…read more August 23, 2026 at 5 pm I really wanted to like Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill at Caesars Atlantic City, especially given the reputation of the chef and the prices you expect at a restaurant like this. Unfortunately, our experience was a big disappointment. The seating was the first problem. We were initially offered seats on a railing directly next to a very busy walkway. It felt more like sitting in a mall food court than dining at a restaurant associated with a famous chef. We were eventually moved to a bench-style seat that was so low that we had to sit in separate chairs next to each other just to be comfortable. It made it difficult to even talk to or see each other. The food didn't improve things. Potato Leek Soup: Served lukewarm, with very little flavor and a consistency more like a flour-based paste than soup. The bacon pieces were actually the best part. French Onion Soup: There was more cheese stuck to the outside of the bowl than actually in the soup. The broth tasted more like bouillon than a rich beef stock. Burger: Also arrived lukewarm, which was especially surprising since I ordered it well done. The meat itself was good, but the pickles were easily the highlight--they were excellent. The burger came with one small piece of lettuce. Fish & Chips: This was the best dish of the meal. The fish was good, although there was quite a bit of excess breading on the ends. There were also gnats flying around the dining area, which certainly didn't help the experience. Another odd thing for a restaurant of this caliber is that there are no restrooms inside the restaurant. You have to leave the restaurant and go out into the busy hallway to find one. Again, it contributed to the feeling that we were dining in a food-court environment rather than a destination restaurant. The service was just okay. Nothing was terrible, but nothing was memorable either. When our food arrived, our server asked if everything "looked" alright, but never returned to actually ask how the food was. For a restaurant carrying the Gordon Ramsay name, I expected much more attention to detail and hospitality. Overall, I honestly felt the service was comparable to what I'd expect at a local pizza shop or an airport restaurant in Concourse C--not what I expected from a famous chef's restaurant. Two stars. The fish and chips and those pickles were good, but that's not enough to overcome the seating, lukewarm food, lack of flavor, gnats, mediocre service and overall atmosphere. For a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, I expected an experience worth remembering. Unfortunately, this is one I'll remember for the wrong reasons.
