Loved the environment! Great vibes and great food! The service is quick and the employees have high energy. The drinks are strong as well and everything is fairly priced for its location. Everything taste fresh and above the restaurant is a dance floor! Great atmosphere and cozy

WOW! I absolutely adored the movie 'The Bird Cage,' and this restaurant/bar nailed the Hollywood filming experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and upfront about all the services and offerings. When I visited, it was karaoke night, and everyone really embraced the opportunity to showcase their talent. There was a bridal shower group in the crowd, and let me tell you, they had some amazing vocal divas among them who shut down any doubts about their singing abilities--LOL! It was an unforgettable night filled with fun, and I wholeheartedly recommend this place! And yes, the food was delicious and served piping hot.

The Byrdcage is such a fun spot. The atmosphere is lively, welcoming, and full of personality. It's a truly inclusive space where everyone is welcomed and can feel comfortable being themselves, which makes the whole experience even better. The drinks are excellent, the service is great, and the energy is contagious. It's the perfect place to meet friends, enjoy a great cocktail, and soak in the vibrant spirit of Atlantic City. Definitely a five-star experience.

First Time Visit - Wonderful Experience I stopped in for the first time and was immediately welcomed by the daytime bartender (we didn't exchange names, but we shared stories and a genuine connection). She made me feel right at home from the moment I walked in--thank you for your attentiveness and warm energy. Though my visit was brief, I could've easily spent more time soaking in the vibe. I asked about a drink and she sold it perfectly--great recommendation! I noticed other customers coming in, clearly regulars, excited for the food and drinks, which spoke volumes about the place. The atmosphere was on point--good music, clean space, thoughtful decor, and greenery that added a nice touch. To the bartender: dream big and follow your heart. You helped create a memorable experience, and I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area!

Byrd Cage quite the spot Foo says very out loud and happy!! Stumbled in a very rainy night and was soaked and no one said anything about Foo and looking a mess! Grabbed barstool and Foo caught breath and settled down a bit. Foo, reviewer of this review, looked around and saw such pleasant bar and nice barman greeted Foo! He said, "Hi, how are you? Food or cocktails?" Foo said, "Both!" The cocktail list was nice and I wanted the bubble on a cosmo but went for Chimay! "I like Chimay, it's firewater," Foo says. The barman says, "Chuckles!" When time to do food, Foo gets sprouts, then Caesar salad and Chicken Pie from a pot that was stewing with crust, yummy like pastries. "How was your food and drink?" asked the barman. And so to answer good question, me, Foo, leaned back in the stool and go real serious face that was saying what I say is so serious. "Where do I Foo begin? I came in like wet cat and everyone say hi, I sit in comfy stool and drink beer made by a monk, sprouts crunch, Romaine's crisp and cold and chicken in a pie from a pot that has crust of butter. Foo shall return!" And then Foo puts a stack of grat on the bar and then we daps and hugs all round. "Xie xie," Foo, me, says as I tip my cap, open the door and step back into the AC rain.

Service was so bad. Food was always good but the service is the worse. Not worth going any more.

There was something happening everywhere--at the Pride Festival, downstairs, and upstairs on the dance floor.

BrianB July 18, 2026…read more RUN don't walk to TOC Restaurant... They have updated the interior but more importantly have a new CHEF (from the one they opened with when they 1st re-opened) who has proven over & over again to be an extremely talented & creative chef who produces sumptuous meals to order. Both my partner & I have an allergy to garlic (it's a curse...Lol) and have some experiences where when the chef is told of our allergy (for instance @ Knock) & the response has been "the dish is made with garlic and I am not willing to change that." Not only has the chef @ TOC worked with us around this issue but on 2 occasions came to our table to suggest alternative seasonings so we could order that dish. We cannot say enough great things re: our 6 to 7 dinner we've had @ TOC in the past 2-3 months nor can the guests who have accompanied us. I would be hard-pressed to name a restaurant that offers the quality of their meals @ a reasonable price as TOC offers in the City !!! Haven't had the pleasure of recommending a restaurant in some time with the passion & energy I feel re: TOC & its' marvelous CHEF !!!!

On the second floor, you'll usually find DJs. My recommendation? Swing by for a happy hour cocktail, and enjoy the music. Bring friends (I do!). Or meet some (I have!). No cover, so you've got money for booze. I salute the bartenders for keeping me happy - shout-out to Austin - and managing a crowd. Credit accepted.
