My husband worked directly with Jennifer. She was knowledgeable, kind, respectful and thorough. Once a plan was made they recommended other contractors to cut down the oak tree and extend our retaining wall, and repair our irrigation system. All three were excellent. The crew from the nursery came one day to take out all the old bushes (they worked very hard) then came back the next day to work their magic! By the end of the day, our yard was incredible! Another landscaper working across the street asked to take pictures he was so impressed! Their prices were very reasonable and their designs, plants and landscaping mulch and rocks were beautiful! I can't say enough about their service, work ethic, quality products and reasonable prices. Thank you Kilpatrick Nursery!!!

John came out really quickly and gave me an estimate, and he was very professional. I ended up on a waiting list as there were many more urgent trees ahead of mine (trees on houses, etc). It took just over a week to get mine worked in (9/12 was the quote date, and the work was done this morning - 9/21), and he showed up promptly at 8am (the scheduled time). The downed tree was hanging about 15-20 feet over my vegetable garden (it was not fully on the ground), and they were extremely careful in not damaging any of my plants. I was really impressed with how much care they put into their work. There was one small mishap with a trunk coming down on my fence, but while they pulled down the next tree, someone ran to the hardware store to get a new top rail for my fence, and before they left it was back up and nobody will know that it was ever damaged. The big pine they took down was a monster (80+ feet tall), and it fell exactly where he said it would. They cut everything up in small chunks that we can easily move (we requested that we keep all the wood, as we'll use all of it for bonfires over the next year or two). The whole process took right at 2 hours (which is what he originally estimated), and I felt like it went really well. The whole crew was polite (and funny), and I'm definitely recommending him to neighbors that have trees damaged by the storm. I'll likely be bringing him back later on to take a couple more trees down that aren't a problem now, but will be at some point in the future. Definitely highly recommend. He responds quick, he was fair in pricing (maybe he's not the cheapest - although he was the least expensive of the two quotes I did get - but in some instances you really do get what you pay for) I had a couple people call me and tell me that they would quote cheaper, but they never showed up to do so. And the one guy that did show up (3 hours late) quoted almost double - see my other review on that. Thanks John! Really appreciate your work and your crew today!

Despite paying them in full, a…read morestaggering $21,680, for what was promised to be a professional and satisfactory wall installation, they left the wall INCOMPLETE, failed to meet the necessary building codes... and worse!! Progreen had not worked with a qualified engineer for the project, even though large walls exceeding 4ft in height require expert engineer guidance throughout the construction process. Our wall is 6 ft high and 71 feet long. Progreen texted that an engineer was not involved and proceeded to write that an engineer did not have to be involved-- demonstrating ignorance of code and raising huge liability issues Adding insult to injury, Progreen disregarded the approved design that was agreed upon by both myself and documented on the site plan and instead installed a completely different shape of wall without permission. This alteration not only violated our agreement but also raises serious concerns about their integrity and credibility as a company. When confronted with the issues raised by the inspectors, I reached out to Progreen in search of answers and resolution. Shockingly, their response was rude and dismissive and bordered on gaslighting. They dared to label our valid concerns as "crazy" before abruptly cutting off communication entirely. In light of these appalling circumstances, I strongly advise anyone considering hiring Progreen to hire someone else. Their lack of professionalism, inability to meet code requirements, and willingness to alter approved designs (without any communication, discussion, or approval) demonstrate that they are an unprofessional and unsafe company.
