This: The first number on the scale is the gross weight of the box, bucket, or truck with all the stone. The tare weight is also displayed, which reflects the weight of the container or vehicle holding the material. When the tare weight is subtracted from the gross weight, you wind up with the net weight.

Southern Landscape Supply not only had the best prices but the lowest delivery charges. We decided to stop off to look at the products to ascertain the quality of the product and to verify which sand was the one for the job. Chris, the General Manager of the location, was there that Saturday and extremely helpful with advice on which product of theirs would be best for the job we were working on to get the best results. We originally requested delivery for the same date, which they could accommodate. After leaving we realized that we had a few projects to complete to make our project run more smoothly. We called to change delivery for to the next weekend. They were kind about our needing to delay the delivery and worked with us without any issues or attitude - in fact they were really friendly and understanding about the requested change for delivery date. The next weekend they let us know when the driver would be headed our way instead of just having him show up. The driver who delivered the sand was also fantastic -- he had to back down a hilled driveway and through a narrow gate to get the product as close to the area we needed it as possible. His great driving prevented us from wheelbarrowing two tons of sand all over creation. My back sends him my sincere gratitude too! We loved the selection of plants and often spent quite a bit of money there. But...That will never happen again. Today we drove quite a ways just to make our annual trip to Full Bloom. Prior to leaving, we checked their website for hours and policies. Of specific interest was the pet policy as a member of our group has a registered service dog. Full Bloom's website states that they allow service animals who have proper documentation. (See below) When we arrived at the nursery, we were greeted by one of the owners who told us no pets were allowed. Our service dog was wearing a harness with "service dog" on it and we had documentation. The owner told us that didn't matter and no matter what we said or offered, he refused to allow us in. When we told him about his pet policy on his website, he said, "Well...I guess we'll have to fix that." So much for what the ADA says! Will never go back. If you have a service dog, beware....

The former project manager is no longer there (I still had his cell) and their website is down like they are out of business. Very disappointed as I had their 5 yr workmanship warranty guarantee! Called another local, highly respected, roofing company and they said the flashing was done poorly/incorrectly in the leak area where the roof meets the brick, now I am on the hook for ~$2K to fix plus the damage done inside still needs an estimate.

You get what you pay for. No tension wire was installed. When I called them after deer of some…read morelarge animal ran through my newly installed fence. I was told that that had to be a customer requested item. I have learned more than I wanted to about fencing from a commercial fence installer, should have paid him to come up from Atlanta for the job. I was going to have them come out to put tension wires, but canceled when noticing other things that have left me thinking about having it reinstalled by professionals. 1. No tension wires installed. Without tension wires the bottom will roll up with pressure. My puppy learned escape this way. 2, The wires clips used to attach to support pipe can bent by hand. On the old fence you would struggle to bend them with a good set of pliers. Deer simply blew these When they ran into it one night. 3. On one panel they never installed the wire clips to the support. 4. The corner and main support post were cut too short. On one section there is 6" to 9" of fence simply lying on top of the ground. 5. They repaired a section of the old fence that a tree had fallen on. They did not re-attach the fence to it or fix a gap at the bottom. 6. Probably not under their control but the hardware is not the quality of my old fence. Most likely a supply issue. I would not use this company again. I would gladly pay the fence company I used in the past even though we're considerably high in cost.
