But NO, Owner…read moresaid I was the problem, the patio was beautiful (yes I did agree with him but needed a small correction) that I had voided the warranty by not paying him $3.25 (after paying 99.99% of the total project cost on a $28,000 project), that I could not be pleased, that I made too many changes (which I ended up paying for earlier), etc. This is NOT the way to treat a customer. So, my review below: Do business with this company only if: 1. You keep the last payment due until all items are completed to your complete satisfaction; even several weeks after actual completion. 2. You do not expect your project to be started and completed per schedule and on time. 3. Expect to be charged for items not asked for. 4. After last payment, do not expect the company to return to fix an item and honor any kind of warranty. Note: See Item 1 above. Regarding their work on scale of 0-5; I give them an overall 3.5. Customer service: 0 for the owner, 4 for the foreman. Overall price: 2.5-3. Would I use again: NO, NEVER They think their work was excellent. The owner and foreman have no sense of detail to the job, aesthetics, what looks good to the eye as a whole, consistency of various items from one side of the patio to the other. Vines did not value me as a customer nor have the desire to support me after the sale. I fixed the issue myself after discussions with owner and foreman got me no where. If they had said: "yes, we will come out and look at it but may have to charge you for the rework"; this would have been fine to me. But NO. I got the answer above.

Biggest issue with the session was Mark's constant reference to cost and condecending tone when providing 'advice' about working with a HOA, which suggested he did not assume we could afford to remodel our home. This caused me to suspect he is not accustomed to working with people of color, but in the spirit of experiencing a teachable moment, if someone agrees to pay you over $200 above your typical fee to get you to travel outside of your normal geographic range of services to draw up a plan for a renewed front yard, it is probably safe to assume they understand the concept of a HOA and can afford to buy the desired plants and hire landscapers.

Pick from their loose pallets or purchase a ton to be loaded into your pickup or trailer. My only suggestion for them is, "why not put in a scale when approaching the yard. This: The first number on the scale is the gross weight of the box, bucket, or truck with all the stone. The tare weight is also displayed, which reflects the weight of the container or vehicle holding the material. When the tare weight is subtracted from the gross weight, you wind up with the net weight.

In the Spring and Summer, they have a great selection of Hostas and Ferns and many great flowering bushes and trees. Recently, I have purchased three Japanese Maples and am very pleased with them. They also had squares of Zoysia grass that I picked up to fill in some bare spots in my yard. Their prices are better than the big chain stores, and they always are well-staffed with friendly, knowledgeable associates. I live about 40 minutes away from All Green, but they are worth the drive.
