My daughter celebrated her 5th birthday here on May 5th - Cinco De Mayo! We went with an L.O.L Surprise theme, which I was super excited about since it's the latest craze amongst all the little girls, and I haven't seen the theme done at Bambino Chef yet. I'm a Creative Coordinator, Event Planner and CONTROL Freak! I purchased the V.I.P Package (for up to 10 kids) hoping I could step back a bit and let the awesome and sweet, Rene and her team do their B.C. magic. However, occasionally I would shoot them idea blasts on what I wanted. About 2 weeks before the event, I went full steam into contacting them again, I received the regular reminder phone call that Tuesday to re-review the event plan. I dropped off the self-made banner a couple days prior to the event so that they could have it prior to the party for setup. I created and brought my own gift bags that consisted of the L.O.L Surprise theme, in addition the kids received gift bags that come with the Bambino Chef VIP pkg, which you can choose between a mixing spoon, apron/hat OR bubbles, stickers, etc (usually items you can find at Party City). On Party Day, we arrived and were greeted by the wonderful Bambino Chef team, seeing how it was Cinco De Mayo and the team prefers the parents relax, I brought some Sangria and Guac and we parents hobnobbed while the kids did their thing. Naturally, taking tons of breaks to snap pics LOL My group initially being 10 went down to 8; we had some late arrivals, but the team was good at starting preparation for those kids who came late. Everyone still ate. Not only the Rigatoni they prepared but also the DOMINO PIZZA. Thankfully, I did not have to worry about having a cake made, because the VIP pkg does include cupcake decorating, so once the kids finished their masterpiece cupcakes we sang Happy Birthday and everyone indulged. The venue layout is awesome for children, the kids had enough space to run around and be merry. The final and most exciting touch in my opinion is the Champagne Pop! Struggled a little bit to twist that bottle, but finally got it to twist and the Birthday Girl and her friends received a beautiful Happy Ending. My only reservation for not going full on 5 stars was I didn't see my vision come to light with some of the ideas I emailed to them. There isn't one person to communicate this part with. Also, there is NO ONSITE PARKING; metered parking which you have to feed every 20 minutes. This part did make it a bit of a hassle for my guests. read more

There is a reason this place gets 5 stars consistently. If there were more stars they would have got those too. We hosted our daughter's 3rd birthday. From the planning through execution they demonstrated professionalism with a personal touch. Everything was meticulously planned. I hardly had to do anything - just got my family, guests, and some adult beverages. The kids had an amazing time. The parents could relax, merry, and also, engage with their kids to make pretzels. Everyone praised what they witnessed from start to finish. Many said this was their best kid's birthday party in recent times. What more can I ask as a parent! Oh and did I say how the birthday cake vanished in minutes (it was soooo yummy). I thank Rene and her TEAM of amazing party planners and chefs for making the event memorable for us and our guests. My 5 yr old daughter has absolutely loved her weekly after school classes at Bambino chef. She comes home sooo excited to tell me about what she has made and to share her creations. I am so impressed with what she is able to cook! The classes have introduced her to new foods and she has become a more adventurous eater- she now gets excited about trying new foods! Such a nice change. She also loves to try to make up new recipes on her own - she is full of ideas. I love the creativity these classes and Chef Rene have instilled in her. Chef Rene is wonderful with the kids, and the classes are a fun, educational and affordable extra curricular activity. We look forward to more great times ahead with Bambino Chef! read more

I just threw a 3rd birthday for my son here and it was ahhhmazzing. Overall the place was nice and spacious. Fit 14 kids and 16 adults comfortably. Could of fit way more too! We started off washing our hands so all the kids were nice and clean before they begun kneading dough to make hand rolled pretzels. (They have different activities based on the age range so they can adjust the cooking menu), To make the birthday boy special they had a ginormous roller and whisk for him to use, perfect for picture opts. Throughout, there were three people engaged with the kids the entire time. They paid extra special attention to the birthday boy which I loved. After throwing the pretzels in the oven, they used the time to read a storybook and decorate masks with stickers. Pizza was next. Followed by sundaes they got to top with fun toppings! This wasn't even an add on as an activity but I just randomly asked if they did that kind of stuff and they made it happen for a small charge! Super accommodating. When it was cake time, they had one of those fun sparklers that made singing extra special. To top it all off at the end of the party, they popped confetti over the kids while screaming "happy birthday" to my son. Let's just say the kids went bananas. Aside from the actual party activities here were some game changers which made the entire party a success. They decorate for you! You simply need to tell them the theme and they decorate everything with the theme right down to the paper plates and napkins! All I had to do was bring a cake. For a busy mom, this was an absolute perk! Plus, you can bring your own food and it's BYOB! With all that said, I would highly recommend this place as your next birthday party spot. This review is way overdue! We LOVE Bambino Chef. Renee and the girls are amazing. At this point I can say that we have tried every service and my son is happy each time. We have done Mommy & Me as a baby, birthday parties for friends, drop off class, after school enrichment, holiday camps, and virtual classes. Most recently I had a virtual birthday for my son's 5th birthday, it was so fun, the recipe was delicious, and Chef Renee was so entertaining. After the party my family told me how great the party was, how the delicious the cake was, and how the Chef was amazing. The kids had such a good time! We LOVE Bambino Chef! Whatever Chef Rene offers, we sign up for! We've done two birthday parties (one in the kitchen studio and one virtual during Covid-19). We've also participated in virtual classes over the summer and in-person classes during the after school program at my son's school, as well as camp classes during school holidays. Chef Rene and her team are incredible in every format! It's been a hard road for a lot of businesses transitioning to virtual activities during Covid-19, but I have to say Chef Rene is so engaging it feels like we're right there in the studio with her. We LOVE Bambino chef!!! Chef Renee and her team are the best. Renee is so fun, and her team has instilled a love of cooking in my current 3 year old through their hands on, interactive classes. My son comes home from class and is excited to help us make dinner. The class prices are comparable to other classes in the neighborhood, and they teach such an important life skill- it is totally worth the $$! Bambino Chef always gets things right! We have been fans of this adorable cooking school for years. Our son has attended classes and holiday camps and always comes back happy. Why did I wait so long to send my daughter here? I'll tell you why ~ silly pride. A busy working mom with a home to maintain and a toddler daughter to attend to ~ "I can do it all" or so I told myself. With several birthday parties at home under my belt (imagine 8 kids tearing around my dining room) and lots of weekend time to instruct my child in cooking ("please don't cut yourself with mom's sharp knife set") I had to admit that I'm not GREAT at this stuff and the aftermath was CRAZY TOWN. After attending Spring Break Cooking Camp, I've seen the error of my ways ~ the space is gorgeous, well equipped, kid friendly, etc. Rene and the team there are at ease with a room full of kids and prepared a full meal that was as delicious as it was nutritious. Bambino Chef is a parallel universe of organized cooking activities that capture your child's imagination and deliver on the promise of a fun & productive morning. I contacted Rene 3 days before my daughter's birthday weekend as I was scrambling to get things organized. Rene and her team came to my rescue like no other! They were cordial, totally lovely, focused on the child and executed a superb birthday party for my daughter's 9th birthday...all within 3 days of notice! They had decorated the room along the "space" theme as requested by my daughter and went above and beyond to put on decorative touches that were so beautiful and different. All the kids at the party absolutely loved it. They got to prepare cookies from scratch and which kid doesn't want to do that! I cannot say enough nice things about this team. Yesterday we held my granddaughter's 5th birthday at Bambino Chef. The joy began when we walked in to the compact space (just right) to find it decorated with the Superhero theme we'd requested. Not just any old Party City decorations, mind you, but instead unusual, cool decorations: a giant spray of balloons, a tall cut-out Wonder Woman figure, superhero picture frames on the table, neon flowers, alternative light fixtures, and color, color, color. And my granddaughter's name in big wooden letters. They were set up and ready 45 minutes early. The party ran like clockwork. The team (all super friendly and helpful) were welcoming and warm. Totally unlike those cookie-cutter parties you get at franchise gyms or art places where the words are there but the heart is not. We chose to have the kids make cupcakes. All wore little aprons and chefs hats. They mixed and molded and decorated. There was an interactive story while the cupcakes baked and hero mask decorating. Good quality pizza too. Everything was kid-sized, e.g., the stools and decorating trays and frosting pipes. High attention paid to hygiene--lots of hand washing. Mostly, I'll remember the small touches, the surprises. No spoilers here; just book your party and you'll love the surprises, all designed to make the birthday family feel special while fully including the guests and giving them lots to do. Yesterday was my sons 8th Birthday Party and the entire staff at Bambino Chef made it such a memorable experience. He is a huge fan of cooking shows such as Chopped and Master Chef Jr. and they were able to incorporate that into this Birthday theme. From the minute we walked in there was such a warm, attentive atmosphere and the energy they put into the entire experience from beginning to end made me confident and happy that I chose Bambino Chef for my sons birthday party. They took care of all the decorations, goodie bags, and anything needed for the event, which made it a stress free experience for me and was a huge plus. The kids had an opportunity to learn kitchen safety basics, get hands on and make their own individual lasagna rolls (our dish of choice), a sticker activity/game while they waited for the lasagna rolls to cook, and even decorate their own cupcakes (which they absolutely loved). My daughter's 7th birthday party took place at Bambino Chef this past Saturday and I have to applaud this amazing staff! They had 17 kids spanning from 3-8 years of age in their seats and invested in making empanadas while some parents could sit and relax at nearby tables. This may work best as a drop-off party since kids are so proud of their efforts they wanted to jump up and share with their parents in real time (which is a great thing!). As the host and mom of the birthday girl, they would not let me lift a finger - they were on top of everything from decorations to putting out snacks and cake we brought to distributing goody bags at the end of the party. They were the nicest group to parents and kids alike and my daughter had an amazing experience! It's so great to watch people that love what they do in action! She's doing a class in spanish this summer to keep up her dual language education. We had our son's 5th birthday party at Bambino Chef a few weeks ago. Rene was on top of it, we felt like guests at our own party which was a great stress relief! The staff was super friendly and wonderful with the kids that ranged in age from 2-9. The kid's made some veggie empanadas from scratch (the picky eaters *ahem my son* didn't go for it, but I tried it and it was delicious!). They did a great job decorating the space. I'm a mom and all moms know that finding places to bring your kids that you enjoy as well are few and far between....this place does just that. I took my 3 year old for a cupcake baking class and was welcomed with a mimosa and took a seat and let Rene, the amazing owner, work her magic with about 10 kids (mine included). I was able to leave and come back as well (drop offs are common and encouraged). Best bet to get your kids out of the house and you a hour or so to get those nails done that you've been neglecting since the birth of your children! Love this place!! read more

I normally don't post reviews but I thought this was an important data point for moms/Dads/caretakers our there. This is for the Party To Go package. I had high expectations but they came crashing down as there no structure to the party and nothing was led by the instructors. They were more or less there on the side to watch and not help or lead any activities. We didn't even have the story time there was in the package. What made it worse was the owner Rene didn't help rectify the negative experience and just called back to justify the poor service we received. So I warn you that you may not have the best experience with them and end up paying more than you wanted for people to just stand in the corner. read more

The JC Bambino chef has a great team of hosts under the main person, Rene. They are dedicated, creative, engaging and professional. We hosted our daughter's 5th birthday there. Our daughter and her friends had a lot of fun. The hosts are very good at engaging the kids no matter what age and take care of every details. They made us feel very hands free and relaxed and we got to enjoy the party as well. They were all ears to what our daughter wanted at her party and did a great great job at decorations. It was done very tastefully. They are good at gauging your taste and ensure every detail is done accordingly. The only thing we would have liked is a more varied party menu offered by Bambino chef. But nevertheless our daughter had a memorable party and that's what counts! She got her fairies in the enchanted forest that came for tea party at her 5th birthday! read more
