Pizza was excellent. Got the veggie pizza. My only complaint is the app didn't tell me when it was ready so we went when it was estimated and found it had been ready minutes earlier. So just go at the earliest time estimated. I liked that the toppings were cut up in smaller pieces -gave a much better flavor overall. I got the eggplant Parmesan, too -it was OK but too much cheese for my taste (cheese lovers will like it tho). I think just spaghetti or any pasta with their sauce and a little Parmesan cheese would be really good. I will request that next time. read more

This was not the worst pizza we've ever had, nor was it the best. But the service was awesome.They brought it to us even though we didn't order it for pick up. We were surprised & liked that. Sadly, We weren't impressed with the sauce it was a little too tomatoey for our taste...we like a little more spices to the sauce. We like a good blend tangy and sweet, but it was hot enough to burn your face off, so there was that! The cheese had a good flavor but got rubbery as it cooled which made me sad cause it tasted good when it was hot. The crust is something they could really improve...it didn't have a homemade taste..yes we're picky but we love pizza. This was a good pizza with a few tweaks it will be great..but we still liked it and the care they took to treat their customers well. First timers ordering here. My husband had heard good things about their pizza so we made the trek from La Mesa over. We each ordered a 14 inch specialty pizza which was more than enough for the two of us. He ordered the meat lovers while I ordered the margherita. My husband said he would've ordered a 28 inch if he had known how good it was. He said the sauce has a hint of garlic but just the right amount so it's not overwhelming. We just left! We have been here twice and had different meals both times. Today was the second visit and we were not disappointed. The gentleman who works the store is great, he always has a smile on his face. He takes his job seriously when prepping your food. I appreciate that. We had a torpedo and a pizza, both items were very tasty. The crust on the pizza was both tender and crusty, it was perfect. I don't eat the crust on pizzas but this one was so good that I ate it. The sandwich bread was fresh, perfectly toasted and the cuts and veggies were just right. It was well balanced. He was busy making pizzas cause it was pi day, and I thought what the heck I will try a pizza, taking a look at as a very fair price menu. I ended up on a large three item pepperoni sausage, and mushroom pizza. and took this piping hot pizza home. I enjoyed the flavor and texture of this pizza with a nice hint of garlic overall just the right amount of sauce and cheese. Mo's Wife liked it with ranch dressing on top but that's a different story. I think bambinos has something good for everybody from classic pasta dishes to specialty pizzas.
