Good sized portions for the price. The soups were delicious and the amount of wontons was extremely generous (5 wontons in the pint)! The brown sauce for the steamed chicken and broccoli didn't taste like the brown sauce I get from Chinese restaurants back home, so I wasn't able to enjoy it fully. I wish the rice portions had been larger because I split this for multiple meals and I only got 2 tiny containers. Overall the food was ok and if I was in a pinch I would stop in again for some soup, but maybe try some different main dishes. read more

The fried rice tastes like legit fried rice and actually has veggie pieces in it. Bamboo shoots and snow peas are cooked and not raw like some other places. They use water chestnuts unlike some other places. Everything is cooked well but not overly done. Chicken is not dry or tough. We recently moved to the area. Found Bamboo Garden to be a nice local spot for takeout. Food has been very good. Only disappointment has been the egg rolls. Not much in the filling, mostly cabbage. We have switched to the shrimp egg rolls which are better, but there is room for improvement. read more

The best Chinese food I've found in the Clermont area, finally. I'm pretty sure this was the last one too, having been to all other local restaurants in the area in the last year. This is no THE place for me to pick up our food to go. Yep, I will drive further than the 2 other places to get their chow. Wanted chinese food! Saw this when we went to the grocery the other day. As it is just down the street from the rv park we are staying at, thought we would give it a go. Called in our order, pork chop suey combination dinner and a pork lo mein combination dinner. Combos come with fried rice and an egg roll. Serving sizes were generous. Egg rolls were delicious, standard fried rice. Hubby loved his chop suey. I was enjoying my lo mein when all of a sudden I got some grit. Ahhhh, yuck. Probably from veggies that didn't get washed thoroughly enough. I didn't say anything to my hubby or call the restaurant as we had already put our comfy clothes on. Will I give them another chance? They have great lunch specials with reasonable prices- a meal and drink for only $5.95 -- and the food is always great! I love the food from this restaurant. It is my favorite by far on this side if Disney and North of 192 to Hwy 50. But thisevening we had our first so-so meal. Sauces were thin, and soups as well were just not as flavorful. You can usually taste every spice play across your tongue. But i could clearly state that there was no Chinese Five Spice or Star anise in our dishes. Also they the papper in the Hit and Sour was not there. Its not enough to make me stop patronizing them ......but their relief chef is nitas good as their main. The foid should be more consistent. .....But its super fresh ingredients and full flavors are almost always guaranteed. Worth the drive folks.....worth the drive. read more
