I went in and ordered the schezuan beef. It had a spicy pepper next to it. I was taken care of quickly and less than ten minutes later my food was ready. Service was fine but unfortunately the food didn't hit the mark. The picture I've added is about 90% of the onions in my meal. There wasn't much meat and not even a hint of spice so I'm not sure why the need to point it out as spicy on the menu. I'm gonna be honest. I usually give 5 stars. If I liked it. It was OKAY. That's why I'm doing 4 and not 3. The shrimp toast was odd, I've never had it INSIDE chopped up the toast like that (I've had it cooked on top of the toast before). The pork fried rice was good, not amazing. The egg drop soup was okay. Kinda flavorless. The crunchies for the soup were super stale. The shrimp with garlic sauce was good. The egg roll wasn't bad! The customer service on the phone and in person wasn't super friendly at all it was like "what do you want? Okay, bye." Same with in person. There is some dining in space (like 5 tables) but I wouldn't recommend it. It's just all OKAY. I've been to a bamboo wok over by Dr Philips (by gators and publix) and it was much better than this. I've lived in Davenport for 10 years and I have never had an encounter like this one. Furthermore, ongoing inspection violations. Even if you have met the requirements needed to keep business afloat, these violations have been consistent and reoccurring & everyone should be aware when eating at this place. There are many other great Chinese restaurants in Davenport trust me I eat Chinese a lot but this is actually the worst one yet. The food is goooooodddd! I mean really really really good. I think this might be the best Chinese food spot I tasted in Florida. The line in store is always long but it's worth the wait. They do phone orders and delivery orders also. The store is clean and located next to a Publix so you can order your food and go shop until your food is ready. The staff are friendly even though they work at a hectic pace. There is ample parking in the parking lot. I tried the chicken and broccoli with vegetable fried rice (yum yum). Additionally I had a Triple delight meal which consists of chicken, beef and shrimp in garlic sauce and it was super good. I'm still craving it because it was so good. My only drawback is I wished they served bigger portions but I guess I couldn't have it perfect. read more

We decided to try this one only because it is so close to home. I had high hopes, Upon entering it was much like the other Oriental takeout place we have been to, with a few tables and a similar menu. The gentleman behind the counter was ambivalent and not very helpful. As I placed our order I had a question about what came in the one dish and he flipped over the menu and pointed to a stock picture. I asked if they could make it extra hot and he acted like he did not understand. We paid and waited for our order. They had a good sized staff working the kitchen and he assisted when no one was at the counter or on the phone. The food came out quickly and we took it home. My kids had the sweet and sour chicken with some pork egg rolls. The sweet and sour was much like any place else we have had it but the egg rolls were fairly bland. I had the szechuan chicken and was not impressed. The peppers and onion were bigger pieces than I prefer but easy to cut down. The portion size was good and it looked good. What it was lacking was flavor which is sad because there was so much of the peppers and onions along with a few tiny pieces of carrot. The other problem was that I expected some kind of heat from it and was totally disappointed. I asked for extra spicy and it tasted like they went completely the other way. I added a packet each of their soy sauce, duck sauce and hot sauce and it did not really help. The plain white rice had more flavor. By the way, they made perfect white rice. The third star is for the rice. Heating up some of the leftovers in the morning I added a good helpling of hot sauce from a bottle plus some other seasoning. This is not what I am used to and I will be content to drive the extra distance for quality food and friendly customer service. If you like it bland this is the place for you. read more

We ordered dinner for four from here. Overall, about 50% of the items we got were okay, and about 50% were terrible (none were great). Crab rangoon was chewy and tasteless, Salt & Pepper shrimp was okay. Potstickers were also okay, and the fried rice was pretty good. Boneless ribs were terrible. This place hits every craving one could ever have for delicious, affordable, and fast Chinese food. The prices are like any other local Chinese food joint and the food is always ready in 10 minutes. The boneless spare ribs are outstanding, as is the bourbon and the general Tso chicken. The fried rice is delicious and the shrimp fried rice has jumbo shrimp. One thing to keep in mind though, when you call to order do not expect a "hello" or a "how's your day going," you better be ready to recite your order in a minute flat - don't ask for modifications. Expect to be told "bye" as soon as you say "that's all." The man who takes the order is not interested in you, your life story, or whether you want to hear his - sing your song and let the man get back to his art, which is to make you a delicious meal. I am working with UberEats to keep more people safe during the pandemic and was horrified upon entering into this restaurant. There were at least 5 people crammed into their tiny lobby-- not a single one wearing a mask! In addition, no one working behind the counter OR in their kitchen were wearing masks or gloves. Yikes! We ordered over $120 worth of food and ended up throwing away 90% of it because it was just absolutely disgusting. this place is not worth even half the price we spent. My usual go to in all Chinese Takeout establishments is the Pork Fried Rice Chicken Wings. A lot of places usually have the same tastes to said dishes but Unfortunately this one was pretty awful. Fried rice was either burnt cause of all the dark markings around the rice & vegetables. The taste had an overpowering salty flavor(too much soy sauce probably). It also had a sticky consistency to the fried rice(again too much water or soy sauce probably). The Chicken Wings(4) however were okay. Can't really ruin Fried Chicken wings, but they almost tried. It had a wet flavor to them instead of a dried crunch texture. Most likely they did not drain the oils or used old as oils. For sure wouldn't recommend my go to. Bronx transplant now residing next door to this place. Ordered here to give it a try and was disappointed. Fried rice has a hard bite to it which shows that it's obviously not fresh. Chicken wings were hairy and taste as if cooked in old used oil. The egg roll was too small and not worth the extra charge. There is nothing unique about this chinese food, as it is your standard fast chinese food. The two stars are due to the prices, which are exorbitant for what they serve and the food is more often than not, too salty.
