The food here was fine. I was hoping for a more authentic Vietnamese experience than what I encountered but it was generally okay. The pho (beef and chicken) that I tried were fine. Broth was okay, noodles and meat were fine. The portions were insanely generous and borderline gigantic, so keep this in mind if you're keenly aware of carb bombs. It wasn't the most amazing pho I had but it was fine. Same for the boc luc lac (shaken beef), the taste was almost like a Chinese pepper steak dish than a more traditional Vietnamese flavor and the texture was a little rubbery. However, the flavor itself was still very good and went well with the rice. Spring rolls were okay. Nothing special and tasted plenty fine and also felt like a Chinese spring roll more than anything else. The place was clean and the folks here were very nice. The food takes a while and it seems the people waiting for takeout also had the same experience. This is fine given the other local options in the area if you're looking for some Vietnamese style food, just note it's not going to be like the most authentic tasting pho you'll ever have. read more

This place is relatively clean and good for a place where there's absolutely no asians. Even at the restaurant, I felt like we were the only asians. Anyways, the service was on par and the food was good. I can tell they didn't use any msg as I didn't feel thirsty afterwards nor gross after eating the pho. I ate dinner at Oxtail Pho and Banh Mi last night. I had the Wonton Noodle soup and Thai Ice Tea. Both were delicious. The soup had pieces of pork and shrimp in addition to wontons and noodles. The service was friendly. It was a little less busy than I thought it would be but maybe that's because I didn't get there until around 8 on a Friday night. The place is small, cozy & clean. Staff is friendly. Sadly, the food is just ok. Certainly couldn't call it the best but ANY means. If you think this is the best, then you clearly haven't had good Pho/Vietnamese. The best part of Vietnamese cuisine are the fresh herbs that compliment the Pho, springs rolls & Bahn mi. Sadly, they skimp on the herbs on EVERY item, actually they don't use a majority of what is customarily served. No coriander, no mint & all of 3 sprigs of Thai Basil in the Pho with a couple jalapeño. The broth isn't very flavorful. The bahn mi is bland with a little pickled carrots and a slice or two of jalapeño & no cilantro or cucumber. Spring roll is loaded with lettuce & vermicelli making it very bland & barely a slice or two of basil. The shrimp is cut so thin you don't even know it's iv there & no mint. Served with a very watered down, bland peanut sauce rather than Thai sweet chili sauce. Save your $ skip the rice paper spring rolls and get the fried spring rolls- the vegetarian are good. Gotten to-go here, I am reviewing the Vietnamese iced coffee and "summer rolls" I ordered a whole bunch of other stuff totaling over $60 but will review those at a later time. The Vietnamese iced coffee was a disappointment. You can't really mess up a Vietnamese iced coffee because it has three ingredients: coffee, condensed milk and ice but I took a sip of it and had to take a double take to make sure that I gotten the right drink. I'm not sure what they used but it tasted a regular watered down iced coffee that I could've gotten from a bodega ‍ Summer rolls, the description states shrimp and pork so I expected as such but as you can see in my picture, it's just shrimp, rice noodles and herbs. I just called to inquire about the missing pork and she tells me over the phone that they ran out! That would've been a contributing factor for me because I wouldn't have paid $4 for these rolls PERIOD. The peanut dipping sauce was mediocre, didn't come with topped peanuts like how it's in previous reviewer's dine-in pictures. The lady that I interacted with here is actually Chinese because when I asked about shaken beef in Vietnamese, she had no idea what I was talking about. I'm sorry but this place must be for an American crowd, definitely not authentic Vietnamese food served here. I am all about supporting a local business but I won't be returning. read more

We stopped there for lunch early summer 2021 during a road trip. All servers were wearing masks. Tables were clean and spaced. We felt very comfortable eating there. I've tried numerous Vietnamese pho places in NJ and NYC. This is the best! We ordered charbroiled sliced pork rolls, beef ball pho, and beef stew. The wrap for the pork rolls was pleasantly 'soft and bouncy', resembling the texture of a boba. The pork was perfectly seasoned. Together with crunchy lettuce and the sweet peanut sauce, the appetizer was such a delightful treat! The beef stew was perfect. My kids, who do not eat any meat cooked in soup, devoured the beef stew in my bowl and asked for more. I myself was even more surprised by the melt in your mouth, guess what - turnip, that came with the soup. Oxtail Pho was a pleasant find. My boyfriend and I ordered the broken rice dish with grilled chicken and vermicelli noodles with spring rolls and grilled pork. Both dishes satisfied us in size and flavor. I also ordered a basic milk tea, which wasn't too sweet! Not flooded with syrup like other places. Service was super attentive and friendly.
