We went with this brand because we were told it had a lifetime guarantee. The latch wore out and the cover would not stay down. I brought the truck in and asked if we could get it fixed under warranty. Photos were taken and we were told they would file a warranty replacement. Brad told me he would call me. A week goes by with no call. I was told that they were waiting on parts. Two weeks go by. I call. Same story. Three weeks go by. I stop in. I explain I need this replaced so I can move my son home from college. He says he will follow up with the company and call me back. Did I get a call back? No. I called a few days later. A woman answered the call and said she would have Brad call back. Did he call back? No. A month and half goes by. Brad tells me he followed up and they are shipping the items. They will be here Wednesday the following week. I call the following Friday. He states that he doesn't have the parts. He would check. He would call back. Does he call me back? No. At this point it has been over a month and a half. I call Truxedo and ask if Brad from Diversified Creations made a warranty request. Truxedo tells me that there is no warranty request. She calls him and he says he is 'working with his supplier' for the warranty request and Truxedo told Brad they will work with me directly instead. Truxedo tells me that you don't go through suppliers for a warranty replacement - that's isn't how warranty replacements work. Obviously, nobody submitted the warranty replacement. Brad repeatedly told me he would get me the parts and they were on order but never even made the warranty request with Truxedo. Truxedo verified this. If you are too busy, or don't want to bother with the warranty replacement, just tell me so I don't waste my time. Don't give me the run around for almost two months and then make me find out through Truxedo that you never sent in a warranty replacement with them for my issue, even though you told me you did and the parts were coming in. You never bothered to call me back any of the times I called. I do not recommend working with this business.

We took our 2016 Nissan in when the AC pulley started screaming metal-0n-metal. After 3 trips back to the shop to stop the leaking, it was declared FIXED. Well that was like the second week of November so we did not get to run the AC--though it seemed cold for November. The real problem started come December a we had NO heat, the fan was blowing full speed, but we had ZERO air flow from the vents. Fast forward to today (85 degrees) and we try the AC. The air is flowing and it feels cold, for about 10 minutes and now it is blowing WARM air--probably around 70 degrees(?) We went to this shop after an even worse experience at some hack shop on Victory in Howell off grand River. It seems the Nissan was too much for Hi-way Tires and Service? When your AC needs service, do it in the summer and find a garage that has great technicians.

So he and my husband walked into the shop and were shown that the car already had a factory installed hitch! So, after recovering from the embarrassment we got our money refunded and left happy. They could have easily taken advantage of the situation and kept our money while we thought they put the hitch on but they did the right thing. It's so refreshing to know that there are still honest businesses out there. Randy is a great guy to call when you need a very reasonably priced tow. Had my insurance giving me…read morepeople asking for as high as 590$ AFTER my roadside coverage. But that's not what you'll get with Randy. Randy is a stand up guy and drove 30 miles to get my Honda Civic from Howell to its Swartz Creek destination for WAY WAY less. He asked what was going on with my car, offered to jump it, got to me right when he said he would, and was an all around pleasant guy to chat with. Very professional, reasonably priced, and an all around great person to call when your car needs a lift. Don't be like me and have your insurance try to rob you out of pocket. I didn't even know they contacted such a great service before sending my request to some other towing company that would have bled my wallet dry. I'm lucky that Randy gave me a call or I would still be waiting days for a tow. I recommend anyone in the service area of Brighton Towing to call them personally and get reimbursed later if you have roadside coverage. Assuming you can't get customer service to reach out to Brighton Towing on their own. Great service, great driver, and a business worth supporting. Nelson's seems great at first, but then problems come up from their prior fixes. Our window broke 4…read moretimes because they used cheap parts then made us pay to use a genuine factory part. The final straw is we had a coolant problem about a year ago they fixed. Recently the coolant has been leaking and our new mechanic found Nelson's didnt even tighten one of the hose connectors and once again used the incorrect connector that could actually damage the hoses as they expand when the engine heats up. I thought Nelson's was top tier, but the multiple follow-up repairs make it not worth it to go here anymore. Its unfortunate because they are great about fixing their mistakes... but with how much they charge there shouldnt be mistakes like this. This last small mistake could have blown up the engine. I cant in good conscience recommend going here.
