I had a…read morereally bad check-out experience while trying to return something with a clueless employee who also had a chip on her shoulder. I think they should allow some of the older, more experienced staff with better customer service skills handle the returns. I shop at Marshalls a lot ... A LOT! And have never had as bad customer service as I did at this place. The selection here is just kind of blah. Lots of fleece, flannel and hoodies. It seems like this location has more workout stuff than actual clothing. The home section is also surprisingly small, except for candles which they have a ton of. If you are looking for workout clothing, hoodies or cheap Chinese down jackets, this is your spot. If you are looking for business clothing or even some nice, name brand casual stuff, you are probably better of going to the outlets in Lee. Again, my best suggestion is to retrain the younger employees with the premise that people will not shop there if the cashiers are moody and grumpy. I know it's probably only a part time job for them but they should act more like the older cash register employees who seem to give a damn about customer experience. If you don't know the policies of your store, don't make them up and stick with your answer stubbornly. It will be more embarrassing for you when a manager has to correct your mistake and apologize to the customer who knew the policy all along.

We got personal pan cheese pizzas, chicken Alfredo, popcorn, and Archer Farms Mint chocolate cookies . The chicken was amazingly creamy and cheesy with moist boneless chunks of white chicken! Overall we loved and enjoyed the chicken Alfredo and the personal pan pizzas.... so cheesy and good! The lady at the snack bar put in the oven fresh ones for us which were ready in fifteen minutes from ordering. The popcorn was freshly popped buttery and crispy and texturally delightful. The Archer Farms mint chocolate cookies were soft, super chocolately with a nice mint chip distribution. Take a visit over to the snack bar and have some lunch all in all around twenty bucks for everyone including drinks. Yummy!! Great shopping experience and wonderful lunch!!!

When we walked into the store we were greeted by two amazing staff members who asked us how we were doing and actually cared to make conversation. The store itself was well stocked with items, but the prices here were a bit high for the styles of merchandise they had. A family member of ours has some of the items being sold here and she told us that they were from a few seasons ago and the pricing wasn't much different than the retail price. In the end, the store was average but what made our experience special was the incredible staff who made us feel welcome. This is expecially important this time of year. In the future we will come back to this store but hopefully during a clearance sale.

I did end up going back the next day for some socks I liked, and had a much more pleasant experience with the younger, curly-haired clerk. It's next to Minna and they do stock quality products, so I will likely be back.

The prices are slightly higher, but I feel they are better quality shoes, at with respect to what I wanted. I require a wide, EEE width, shoe, and Clarks has a slightly better selection of these than the other stores. The shows I wanted were already 20% off, and I was able to use the Lee Outlets VIP discount brochure to get another 15% off, plus they got me started on a frequent shoppers discount card which will not expire. The shoes are comfortable, and the price was reasonable (for dress shoes).

I have been a loyal customer for decades and never had a problem. Today, however, I brought in…read morewinter boots I bought three months ago because they were damp inside. The young woman who came over was clearly poorly trained in customer service or else failed to gain the most basic customer service skills because she immediately suggested it was my fault for not waterproofing the boots. I showed her the tag on the boots which says "Waterproof." Then she said it was probably my sweaty feet. She did not examine the soles or seams because she didn't want to touch my "dirty boot." When I asked to see the manager and followed her to the office, she shooed me away, presumably because she didn't want me to hear what she was going to say. The manager offered store credit and I would have had to give my boots to her then and there. Leaving me to go home in my socks? I told her that I was a loyal customer for many years and had bought footwear from them when I could have got it cheaper online, but I like to support local businesses. I told her that she had lost a customer. Next time I'll try shoes on for fit and then order online for a better price and hassle-free returns/refunds. Some local businesses do not earn loyal customer support.
