When we walked into the store we were greeted by two amazing staff members who asked us how we were doing and actually cared to make conversation. The store itself was well stocked with items, but the prices here were a bit high for the styles of merchandise they had. A family member of ours has some of the items being sold here and she told us that they were from a few seasons ago and the pricing wasn't much different than the retail price. In the end, the store was average but what made our experience special was the incredible staff who made us feel welcome. This is expecially important this time of year. In the future we will come back to this store but hopefully during a clearance sale.

We have since sold the house but I come to Great Barrington about once a year or twice and I never leave without making a stop here. It remains the best shop in downtown GB, beautifully curated, with selection on par with what you might find in an upscale NYC boutique with a touch of rugged flair somewhere in the village. Their selection is unparalleled insofar as brands that are eco-friendly, with an eye for fashion forward style. Great selection of cashmere tops, Hobo wallets and bags, Free People brand, soft fleeces, boots, awesome selection of denim, and mostly recently I purchased a "Save the Duck" down alternative puffer coat that I couldn't be happier with. Plus, great men's selection! Love love love. Also, major points for being run by kind dog lovers. Lots of adorable doggy themed apparel to be found. Gotta check it out!

Everything was tailored in less than a week and I just tried everything on. Perfect fits. My wife loved everything and I felt great. When we entered the store it was well stocked with items and the staff was pleasant, but the merchandise was not at outlet prices. We looked at some clothing that we had seen at Marshalls selling here for three times the price here. That being said, we liked the selection they had, but we didn't purchase anything because of the cost. In the future we hope to come back when it is not the holiday season and hopefully they have better deals.

Sometimes items are a bit overpriced for what they are, other times its a good deal so its hit or miss here. There always seems to be a super grouchy older lady working here. Every single time we come in, she's always there. Never smiles, always very short if you talk to her, and sometimes outright rude. For some odd reason, interacting with her has become part of the experience in coming here. "How much you wanna bet I can make here smile?". "No way!" So, in a weird way, we look forward to seeing her. It's much smaller than your standard goodwill but still worth a look if you're in the area and have time.

We got personal pan cheese pizzas, chicken Alfredo, popcorn, and Archer Farms Mint chocolate cookies . The chicken was amazingly creamy and cheesy with moist boneless chunks of white chicken! Overall we loved and enjoyed the chicken Alfredo and the personal pan pizzas.... so cheesy and good! The lady at the snack bar put in the oven fresh ones for us which were ready in fifteen minutes from ordering. The popcorn was freshly popped buttery and crispy and texturally delightful. The Archer Farms mint chocolate cookies were soft, super chocolately with a nice mint chip distribution. Take a visit over to the snack bar and have some lunch all in all around twenty bucks for everyone including drinks. Yummy!! Great shopping experience and wonderful lunch!!!
