I don't know what happened, but the outlets really don't seem like outlets anymore. There have been significant price markups recently, although in a lot of places, quality hasn't changed with it, and I'm noticing that shopping here could actually break the bank, which wasn't the original intent of the outlet malls, in fact, quite the opposite. When I was younger, I used to be able to come here with my spending money and purchase a whole lot of cool things to show off to my friends back in New York, but now with the same amount of money, if not more, you get a lot less for what you pay for. I honestly don't really understand the significant price increases everywhere, but the outlet for the first time looked and felt unappealing. I even recall saying to my dad that I didn't see myself coming back and that this could be my last time here, which is a shame because I've been coming here since I was a small child. I won't be spending much time in the Berkshires in the future anyway. read more

Went to Lee outlets to do some shopping and most of the stores had signs on the door saying masks must be worn. Did not want to shop in any of the stores that had the signs on the door, but found out from one of the cashiers that it's actually the local town that is forcing these businesses to have a mask mandate. Unfortunately uneducated politicians in this area are going to hurt poor business owners through their silly mandates Instead of following the science. Even cruise ships are up and running currently but I guess you have to wear a mask to look for underwear at the outlet. Hopefully this outlet will get back to its full potential and fill all the stores that have left because of the Covid pandemic and the bad political environment they in. I like where this is located a lot. Within distance of Stockbridge so I can have lunch there after I've done some shopping... but on to the real reason why you should come here, and that's because you can get really good deals here. For me, I was looking for name brand make up items and one of the stores here has exactly that at very reasonable prices. I was able to find a clinique concealer for under $6!! And a MAC limited edition blush for $20. Another store I highly recommend is Clark's shoes if you enjoy comfortable, yet fashionable footwear. Also, you can't go wrong at Loft's where you can get amazing deals on dresses, tops, and skirts. The coach, and kate spade stores are also a plus; just overall great shopping to be had here. read more

This review is specific to the Clarks store at Lee Premium Outlets. Customer service there is better referred to as customer harassment. I was shopping for Clarks shoes on July 6th. After I selected two pairs of shoes, I proceeded to the checkout counter to pay for them. Prior to that, I have returned three other (unpaired) shoes to the display stand, where I have previously picked them up to try on. The store clerk named Tammy refused to sell me the shoes until I find boxes for the unpaired shoes. When I told her that those shoes were not taken from any box and were, in fact, picked up from the display stand, she still refused to ring up my merchandise (!!). Which makes me wonder: since when a store clerk can decide whom she sells the merchandise and whom she does not? But that was not the end of my ordeal! I then suggested to her that she may consider filing the shoes herself. She refused to do that and told me that this is "my job" (!!). Which brings me to my second question: since when a shoe store clerk can refuse to file the merchandise? Isn't that her job? The store was empty, so surely she could have easily found the appropriate box and place for the shoes. Finally, when I asked to speak to the manager, she said that "she is the manager" and proceeded to call security. Facing this prospect, I had to leave the store without making the purchase. There is no doubt that this store clerk is turning customers away from the store and negatively impacting the sales. Such customer harassment is truly deplorable, and mall should do something about it. Until then: this customer is not coming back. And is not recommending this mall to anyone else. read more

This is a smaller outlet center however that is one of the reasons I like this one. It has most of the stores I like to visit in an outlet center, without the annoyance of huge crowds at larger centers. The discounts are great and I usually do some of my holiday shopping here. I like the open air style too. In the winter, it keeps away the crowd that hates the cold of the Northeast winters. The food court has a decent selection of food, especially considering how small this outlet center is. They have plenty of healthy choices, too, if you prefer them. I can't speak to whether the bathrooms are clean as I tend to avoid public restrooms as much as I can, especially during the dreaded flu season because people do such gross things to public restrooms. Parking is plentiful and is not obnoxious. I prefer the lots on the outside of the perimeter, not the storefront spaces, but to each their own! Go check it out when you can! This is an interesting outlet mall. Its not my favorite, see why below, but it gets 4 stars because it is in a beautiful local. So its just nice to be there given the surroundings. This mall is sort of odd, smaller than most, limited parking, and not in easy access places either, stores seem to be smaller than other malls. But they do the best they can with the space. The food court has a villa pizza, Subway, coffee time, snack shop, Orientaste, burger shop, That's a Wrap. Lots of tables to sit at in the food court. Even a few outside. read more

This is a decent outlet mall. The "sales" can be hit or miss, but I find if you go in the bargain rack in places like Calvin Klein, Polo and Talbots, even J. Crew, you can find some surprises but it's all about timing, like TJ Maxx. I've only been here twice and the one place I always seem to strike it rich with cool finds is G.H. Bass & Co. They used to also have an outlet up in Brattleboro, VT (now closed) which was also great. I found pony-skin, leopard print ankle boots, perfect for fall, originally for $120, I walked away with them here for $20. I also found strappy leather, gold summer sandals for originally over $75, I got them here for $12. When I need to buy new luggage, I plan on buying it here. Not a bad outlet place at all. Easy to navigate around, plenty of parking and easy-to-find amenities like washrooms and vending machines. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a look. read more

My family and I stopped by mainly for some food on the way home from a trip. This may have been the smallest outlet I've been to with an average selection of stores. The ones that caught my eye were Gap and Cole Haan. I don't typically shop at Gap, but had gone in since people in our group were interested in checking it out. I haven't seen deals as great as they were in this particular location - from the denim jackets to jeans to summer shirts and shorts. I was pleasantly surprised. Cole Haan also had the exact shoe I was looking for, which was a plus. The food selection at the "food court" was poor. Most of the places were shut down and there were probably about 3 or 4 place to choose from The quality wasn't that great, but I settled for a pizza since it was the only thing that looked close to appetizing. Overall, if the deals are good and you know the store you're looking for is here, it's worth coming in... but not for the food. read more

I enjoy these Outlets as they're outside, and good on a hot summers day...walk in the sun, get too hot, go in a store for AC and some shopping. The store selection is okay. Not great but not bad either. I noticed this time that there were quite a few shopfront that weren't holding anything...maybe this could be a good thing depending on what they bring in. Some stores have good sales, whereas some..they really don't have a sale at all and really don't qualify as an "outlet store". The food court is a whole other issue. There's 6 tenants normally, however today 2/6 were closed. Thus leaving an already small option even smaller. Ate at Berkshire Burrito because today is Cinco de Mayo and figured I'd somewhat get in spirit...okay but greasy. Get better food options please!! read more

Drove up from CT during the week, pretty much empty. My wife and I were shopping for some summer clothes. Found what we were looking for pretty quickly, great discounts and if you served in the military you can get an additional discount with proof. Tommy Hillfinger uses ID.ME for the discount. Nice in that no sale tax is collected on clothes purchases in MA. Did not try the food court. Overall, it was a pleasant day out with some good purchases. read more

The Lee Outlets are set in a scenic area of the Berkshires, and I would not be surprised if they get a lot of business during leaf-peeping season because of that. They are very convenient to the Mass Pike. Personally, I think the word "Premium" is extraneous for the place. One thing I do like is that this area will never really be subject to the sprawl you see at other places like Woodbury Commons, essentially because of its location. Another thing that's nice about it is parking. Not only are there many lots around the outside, but there are many parking spots INSIDE along the access roadway. This is very convenient for people with mobility issues. It's predominantly clothing stores and the other outlets you'd typically see: some sneaker outlets, stores for kids, a kitchen store, etc. Like many other outlets, they advertise a VIP booklet of discounts, which you can either buy for a minimal price, or get free if you show a AAA card, an AARP card, or ... wait for it ... A YELP CHECK IN. But... (1) The information booth in the food court was not staffed, and when it's not staffed you have to know to go to the management office instead, and (2) My Yelp check-in told me I could get a complimentary VIP discount booklet for 2011. Methinks someone's software is a tad old. read more

After visiting Stockbridge we decided to stop in at these outlets to buy some items for Christmas presents. When we arrived the place was swamped, but finding parking wasn't terrible.The outlets here have a decent selection of stores, but overall the merchandise is priced at retail value rather than outlet price. The worst time to come to the outlets have to be during the holiday season which is a pain because this is when I enjoy shopping at outlets like the ones in Wrentham. The best part of our recent experience was the fact that the employees were very polite. This was a plus since a lot of times this time of year can be tough in retail. While here we also had some food at their food court which was terrible. The Chinese here was gross and the Subway was a mess to order from. Overall, the other outlets in MA are better but if you are hungry for outlet shopping, then this is the place to go in the area. read more

I'm really not an Outlet shopper but I try to stop by whenever I'm in the area and the Berkshires have been my go to vacation destination this summer. They have a good selection of stores. Some of the outlet standards, of course, but also some that seemed more unique. Parking isn't great. It was crowded for the Labor Day weekend and very hard to find a good place. Some stores had lines to get in so we avoided those. There was good mask wearing adherence but forget about social distancing. Everyone was bunched up, especially in the stores. Prices didn't seem that cheap either - I went into the Bath and Body Works store and their fall candles were the same as the regular retail store at an exorbitant $24.50 and no sales in sight. Yikes. Not sure about all of the stores but prices really didn't seem outlet low to me. I probably won't stop in again until next year. read more

Great place to come and visit for some awesome deals on most items. Generally speaking for an outlet center it's a lot smaller than most I've been to previously. Tucked away just off the thruway, it's a nice place for a back to school shopping spree for when you need stuff the kids and are looking to stay within a budget. I have to agree that after easing a few other reviews that the term "premium" isn't really all that suiting for the name. Sure you have some higher end stores, but nothing that jumps out quite like others (like Woodbury commons, or places I've been to just outside of Boston). Overall nice spot to visit; small but does the job when your not up to driving a great distance for a day of either physical shopping or just window shopping and as if was mentioned "leaf peeping" in the Berkshires read more

The prices are fair and selection is the best around. They've updated the driveways and parking areas, and the face of the stores. The food court doesn't have a wide variety - no vegan or vegetarian that I would consider eating. It's an American food and Americanized other selection. The restrooms are clean. Customer service is based on each individual stores policy. Its an outlet mall. Keep your expectations inline with mass shopping. read more

I ate at the food and looked at the stores, but there was nothing in my avetage size that was reasonably priced. The coupon book you get does not have good deals either. You are better off with a store like Kohls that gives you $10 off a purchase of $10 or more. The Chinese food seemed low priced. Turns out that is because the portions are small. The taste is nothing special. The Mexican food was way overpriced and the service was horrible. I had to peer into the back to find a worker who was chowing down. She came out and put my order order on the grill, then disappeared into the back again. When it was done she re-emerged. The whole time she was mumbling something. At first I thought her mask was muffling her speech. Then I realized the reason I couldn't understand her was she was having a personal conversation in Spanish using an earpiece. I had to ask her for the price with tax and she was irritated to have to interrupt her conversation to tell me. If you are into name brand logos and don't mind paying $50 for a T shirt you might like this mall, but it is not for me. read more

For a shopping center this place seems to be doing better than most. Of course the word outlet is a misnomer because everything seems to be full price. Not sure how you'd separate that criteria anyway. There are a few vacancies and a few places that seemed a bit out of place for this kind of center. But overall we liked the atmosphere. This place is heaven for Five College Students. If you have access to a vehicle, this is where you want to go to find all the necessities to make it through college (party wear, formal wear, casual clothing, active wear, etc). My friends and I found a lot of amazing deals especially at Michael Kors, Under Armour, and the Nike outlet. I actually got an amazing pair of Nikes for $11.00, as a recovering sneaker attic turned prep girl, this was a dream come true. :) They have coupon books for the different stores that are $5.00 or free if you have a college ID! :) Make sure you grab one. Note: The Coach store always as great deals. This is a great place to shop but because they are outlets, some items will have better pricing than others. Nonetheless, shop around for deals. As a youngster, going up to Lee was always a treat. With the closest "real malls" being about an hour and change away, the mere 45 minute drive to Lee from my parents' house was a dream! No more driving to Poughkeepsie, NY! No more driving to Pittsfield, MA! No more driving down to Danbury, CT! HUZZAH! As a teenager and person in their early 20s, I enjoyed many of their stores much more: Claire's, American Eagle Outfitters, Gap, PacSun, Rue 21, et al. Shiny things and hip hugging jeans, baby! YEAH! Honestly, my only reason to go up to Lee now is to go to their absolutely superior J. Crew outlet, with an occasional walk through of Banana Republic and Ralph Lauren. The store selection is great: you've got your Coach, Michael Kors, Reebok, Nike, Eddie Bauer, Tommy Hilfiger, Brooks Brothers, Ann Taylor...dare I go on? All outlet villages are virtually the same, store-wise. Barely any appeal to me personally, save for the two aforementioned ones. Still, there is surely a store to please everyone. Parking is ample and, though you may search a bit, you WILL find a spot eventually. If anything, you'll be competing with masses of people too self absorbed in their shopping ventures to care about anything else. You know, those types of women that wear sloppy sweatpants with their horrible Ugg boots in 80 degree weather, their hair perfectly coifed despite the fact that they looked like they slept in their clothes, taking up sidewalks with their giant bags full of ugly Coach purses, yakking on their cell phone, giving you the evil eye when you try to squeeze by them... I'll let you in on my frugal clothes shopping tip. Unless I'm in some kind of clothing emergency, I only buy new clothing once a year, and it's when I go to Lee Outlets. I usually have some gift cards from Christmas to J. Crew or Banana Republic, and I plan my trip to line up with some big sale event (check their website). Usually Presidents Day weekend. Then I come back home with some new pants, shirts, sweaters, shoes, and only a little lighter in the pockets. The new clothes replace my old, unworn clothes. Boom, clothes shopping done for the year! I used to hate this place for being impossible to navigate, and years later, I still have trouble remembering where I am in relation to anything else, but it's gotten easier. Sure, the food court stinks, but are you here for the food? No. You should be to hit those deals hard, and leave. And seeing how this place is out in the Berkshires, it's a nice drive as well. read more

I just want to say that I'm from Jersey, where one is surrounded by at least 5 malls withing a 10 mile radius at any given time lol. No but seriously, we have alot of malls in Jersey. I came here with the BF in search of jeans. He wanted jeans that "weren't too blue, " whatever that means. We came here on a Friday early afternoon and the mall was pretty dead. I was surprised by how small this outlet was. I think there's maybe 20-25 stores in this outlet and I feel like I'm being generous with the amount of stores. The deals were almost non existent. We went into the Underarmor store and the BF found a shirt that he liked for $25 there that would sell for $20 in Modells here in NJ/NY. Same thing goes for the sneakers, overpriced, especially for an "outlet". I think shopping online maybe more economical. This would be a nice place to peruse on a nice day and if you really didn't have anything better to do. read more

Buyer beware : NOTE anyone who goes to an oulet needs to pay attention - all of the stores will have discount and non discounted items so watch the signs tickets and know how much the items cost in actual stores etc. Calvin Klien was terrific . Brooks I thought was well priced for certain items again this will change from time to time - the service was excellent. Timberland clothes were good - but lots of dated shoes. Nautica was just lots of rugby shirts non of there business casual stuff. Polo outlet excellent. Coach had a NJ/NY bomb of people in it looking at bags that are near reg price - could not deal with it ( wallets were reasonable) JCrew was awful - looks so good in the catalogue - but lots of scatchy sweaters and the stuff i liked - in season was reg price. They also have a minimul mens department. Sock store was great / hanes? Love Love Love the Calvin Klien - will be back again. Great parking and decent food court - wear good walking shoes. read more

Don't attempt to use the yelp coupon, it's three years past expired! But they do offer a free coupon book for active military and will provide a list of stores that will also give discounts. You get this at the information booth in the food court, which is in the center of the whole outlet. The streets are mostly one way, so if you have never been here, pay attention to the signs! The food court is not the best, but there a lot of choices. If you want a small bowl of really hard spaghetti for $8, you can get here! Lol. Your selection: subway, coffee shop, wrap place and an Asian restaurant. The coffee shop makes excellent spiced chai tea!!! There's a good selection of shops and a lot of little areas for 50 cent coin rides to distract the kiddos. It's really far, but the discounts are worth it. I will come again, just bring my own lunch. You know what it is about this place? The fact that the view, while shopping here, is unlike anything in the area. It's smack in the middle of The Berkshires and even if you don't happen to find anything to buy, the breathtaking views make this journey from CT well worth it. I've never actually been when it's been jam packed, but the best days to go are the days when there is virtually no one there and it feels like a free for all for you and whoever you happen to be there with.
