While selling to another private party usually yields a better selling price it is also a lot of DMV paperwork and other details like dealing with personalized plates, proper release of liability forms, just to name a few. Khalil made us a great offer, handled all the DMV paperwork, etc. Did we leave a few dollars on the table? Maybe, but we were very happy with all aspects of the transaction. Here's the best part: I received ALL the benefits of selling to a dealer (no smog required, no need to update registration or transfer title, minor issues that needed addressing were ignored, etc..) AND he paid me what I was hoping to get from a private party.
