Laura was was an amazing instructor! I have never driven a truck before in my life. I came to her with a time limit to get my class A and she put in the time with me, even coming in on Sundays for me because of my schedule. I had plenty of time to practice all my skills in the yard and on the road time. Within 3 weeks total she had me ready to take my test at the DMV and passed the first try!! One of the worse schools to ever go to, the owner is really good to sell her school to you and she makes a lot of promises but when it come down to it she never comes through with it, when I was there I basically thought the class because she never showed up and since I was the one that knew everything she expected me to teach the class, when it came down to my test she would make me reschedule my appointment because she always had an excuse to not take me, everyone that was attending the class while I was there never past the dmv test and they all just gave up due to her never being there and teaching us/ help us learn what we needed to learn before hand showing up to our appointment (Laura is the worse instructor/ human being ever) read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. First things first, this place has been reported to the DMV. They are so quick to take your money and charge you their ridiculous fees, but are not quick enough to prioritize their students. Laura 1 & Laura 2 (mom & daughter) are late to class on the weekend, call out students about their "payments" in front of everyone and are impatient on test days. Now the class structure is an even bigger joke. There's about 5-10 people per class session depending on the time & day with 1 instructor. Each student is at a different pace. There are students who have attended class for two weeks and + learning and teaching the new students who have barely entered. Julio gets stressed out he doesn't even know where he's at in lecture half of the time. But i will give it to him, he does his best. Every class session consist of pre trip inspection and parallel parking. That's it!! No cab inspection , no alley parking, nor do you practice with the truck you are taking to the dmv. The truck you take your test in doesn't get touched until test day & it's not even similar to the one that you practice in. Laura makes it known that she doesn't want anyone to touch her truck. Well then why do I pay all this money to be taught in a truck I'm not even going to use on test day? The amount of people who have failed from this school is ridiculous. Laura prioritizes money over the education she's advertising to teach. PLEASE do not come here! I've made the mistake so you don't have to. Oh yeah & NO REFUNDS. Shaking my damn head. This is the place where I have seen the student and instructor be on one to one basis. They are with you right form the beginning up to the DMV test and they give you the hints on how to to pass the test. As you know learning to drive and passing the test are two different things but with Banderas you get both of them and I do recommend them 100% because you will never regret your decision.The prices are pretty reasonable compared to other places and they do have newer equipments which really makes it easier for the students to master the skills and achieve their goal. So before you spend thousands of $ in other so called Driving Schools give them a call first. read more

I have never driven a commercial vehicle before. I never even knew how to back up a trailer. I learned how to back up trailer within the first few days of my 5 week program. Banderas gives you the opportunity and flexibility to come in at your best convenience which no other schools offer. Got a lot of hands on with the truck and trailer as well as learning pre-trip inspection and air brakes inspection. Laura and her daughter have plenty of knowledge and patience to teach you the right way of doing everything when it comes to getting your class A license. Their prices are also by far the best compared to any nearby schools. If you are there to learn, they are there to teach. They prepared me for my DMV test and I passed it on the first try. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT!! Waste your time here, my husband attended this trucking school in the afternoon. She promised him one on one time for HOURS a day. She would cancel class ALL THE TIME, My husband and I are a working class family with blood sweat and tears we came up with the money for my husband to go here. She was real quick to take our money but when it was time for him to get in the road she would sit in her office and have everyone outside learning on their own. Are you serious? How are you expecting these men to learn on their own, isn't that your job?. She didn't care how unhappy we were with her services UNTIL I wrote a Yelp review she cried to my husband and said it's cause she's "tired" uh then don't offer a afternoon class if you're not going to give it 100%, we couldn't stop working our morning jobs we would lose everything so that's why my husband had to take afternoon classes. She literally cried to my husband and begged him to take the review down because she didn't want anyone to see it, she didn't want anyone to see the TRUTH. This lady never even gave me all my money back she stole our hard earned money. She STILL owes us $800 dollars.
