called this morning at 9:13 AM and spoke with the owner of the trucking company regarding a safety concern. I was trying to report a driver who was running multiple red lights and driving recklessly. However, I was unable to fully explain the situation, as the owner seemed more focused on questioning why I was calling rather than listening to my concern. The conversation felt unprofessional and unproductive, and I did not feel heard or taken seriously. This was a very concerning experience, especially given that the issue involved potential road safety risks. I hope this matter is taken seriously and that there is improved communication when customers report safety concerns in the future. I recently went through this school and it was amazing. Frank and Mike are great teachers. All of the materials were clear and concise. Their hands on approach really reinforce all of the things you need to know how to successfully pass the CDL tests. The Saturday classes were great due to time crunch with a regular 9 to 5. Because of their training the tests at DMV were easy to pass and I passed first time. I spent 2 months at Empire until I was ready for my test. I passed on my first try. They have great instructors that are very knowledgeable and patient. I would NOT recommend this "trucking" school .... It's a scam and not worth your time /money... there nice when you start... but once you challenge them in there wrong doings it goes Left .... 1. My 1st day they threw me in without any education 2. The teacher to student ratio is off (BUT NICK the instructor is SUPER awesome he's very clear , patient and informative 3. It's a lack of communication and very unorganized( in one week they had 5 students who failed ), it's not that the student failed the school failed to properly teach and to make sure your well equipped to pass ... it's seems it's just about money for them .But like I stated Nick is great instructor and basically running the show all himself , which is too much on one person I went in to communicate... I wasn't aware of the school changing location which today is Thur (I over heard other students discussing the school was moving Monday ) which is a short notice one and two they weren't consecrate to me or what my obligation are.... The Secretary got irate and yelling ... and was not professional at all. She was very rude... and it came off raciest and She needs to work on her communication and professionalism .Empire trucking school are taking advantage of the foreign students due to language barrier . They are charging them (students) $100 each time to go take the DMV test which in contract it says after three times. Please pay attention to your contracts and have understanding.... There's a lot that can be said about this school, but I'll stick to the main points. Your money is better spent elsewhere, in a school in which there is actual instruction. The price you pay likely depends on the mood they're in that day because talking with other students, they paid significantly less than I did which is what influenced their decision. Their book is poorly written and filled with errors. On the surface, it looks great until you realize other students have actually rewritten and passed around more relevant knowledge. When I signed up, I came here because of location and the Saturday availability. This was a big factor in my decision because I work M-F full time. What I was told is that Saturday is for students who do not attend throughout the week and that there was only a handful of students on saturday (4-5). What I found out when I arrived was that there are 15-20 students on Saturday with 1 sometimes 2 instructors. Every Saturday there are students there that are practicing because they have a test coming up the following week. I took a week off from work to attend prior to my test on Friday just to find out the SAME people attend during the week as they do during the weekend. It's a never ending cycle and Saturday ends up being full every single week. 2 times they were closed without any notification, one time the cops were called out due to an altercation. You're going to be in class with people who have failed multiple times. 99% of what you learn will be self taught and you will be learning from other students. Things like straight line backing that you pick up quickly you end up getting stuck doing because trucks are being used and/or are down. When people test on Saturday, that's another truck you do not have at your disposal. The trucks here need maintenance BAD. One day the air bags were out, another the clutch was having issues. Keep in mind, you NEED every single truck up and running due to the amount of people at this school and the different areas in which you need to practice (air brakes, in cab etc). GO ELSEWHERE. Seriously, do not give this school your hard earned money. read more

He always puts in the same effort you're willing to put in. His team of instructors are all very hands on with your training. You build your own schedule, if you are hard working and diligent you can finish the entire course with the best training with flying colors.
