After a couple rounds of shots and drinks, we ended up taking over another table with some friends who joined-- and when one of our friends needed their phone charged but didn't have a charger, Deya let us use her personal battery pack! First time at the Bandit and had a decent experience. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. The Bandit is a contemporary dive bar so it is very lively and has a very cool look to it. Also a very cool girl's bathroom. I was hoping for the food to be better, but I think I chose the wrong item. I had the cinnamon rolls with bacon on the side. I wanted something sweet and was looking forward to the Nashville hot chicken and pancakes, but they are savory pancakes, not sweet pancakes. My cocktail was also not what I was expecting. The last time I was in the area I started my Saturday by having brunch here. Due to wait the time, I opted for a seat at the bar on their back patio, and I was glad I did. The weather was perfect, and the patio just made it that much nicer. For my entrée, I went with the Nashville Hot Chicken Tenders as they were highly recommended. They were delicious and lived up to hype; that said, the entrée was relatively small so if you have a big appetite this might not be the best choice. The bartender seemed to be struggling a little more than I was at the time, but she managed to be attentive and personable along with keeping the drinks flowing. Note, bottomless mimosas are available however there is a 2-hour time limit. Overall, I had a great experience at Bandit. My friends and I were at Bandit on a Saturday night. Unfortunately, at some point in the night my clutch popped open and my wallet fell on the floor, and I couldn't find it. As I was looking for it, someone said that they had seen a wallet and turned it in to a bartender. I asked the two bartenders near us if someone had turned in their wallet and they said no. One of my friends and I (both of us are women) found a bouncer and asked if anyone had turned in a wallet, and they said no. We got in line for the restrooms so we could 1. Use the restroom and 2. Search that area. We had been in the restroom about 1 minute and a bouncer began banging on the door. My friend politely said "one moment, she's looking for her wallet" and the bouncer rudely said "well I have a business to run." He didn't even ask about or offer to help with the wallet situation. Keep in mind that at this point, not one person who works there had given us any useful info as to who to contact or where to go for a lost and found, which we knew there had to be a process for because someone else in our group had previously found a wallet and turned it in to a bartender. We continued to search the bar and ask around about who to contact and where to look for a missing item and were rudely dismissed and got absolutely no help, until we found my friend's boyfriend and he started asking bouncers for help. Once he started asking for help, the whole vibe changed and everyone was much more polite, and immediately someone checked the managers office, where my wallet had apparently been the entire time. My question is why was it so hard to get someone to take us seriously? I am 100% sure that if there had not been a man in our group to ask for help we would have been completely ignored and I would not have gotten my wallet back. Why did the first person we asked for help not say "oh we put those items in the managers office I'll have someone check?" It would have saved us a lot of stress and frustration if someone had just taken us seriously. We left feeling like Bandit does not care about its patrons if they are women. I am absolutely appalled by the behavior of the staff and hope that changes to training, expectations of staff, or at least something of the sort is made. I should not have to have a man speaking for me in order to be treated with common decency. I am absolutely appalled by the behavior of the staff and I don't recommend going here if you are a woman because apparently you won't get any respect unless you have a man speaking for you, which is simply unacceptable. read more

We went from Bar Siena to Bandit and this place also was vibe. I feel like bandit had a little more of a rowdy crowd however. The upstairs bar was packed with people, hard to get seating and excellent cocktails. We did watch a guy get his tacos dropped off, he asked for salsa and then sat there for at least another 15-20 minutes without it by the time we left. Not sure if he ever got his salsa. The food all looked good. The staff was quick with getting drinks and shots out. We've walked by Bandit a few times in the area and decided to finally stop by. It was packed on a Sunday afternoon. Thankfully, brunch was still being served (stops at 3 pm) ! I was eyeing the chicken and waffles on the menu. It was absolutely delicious! The honey butter was a great pairing to the fried chicken, and maple syrup on the waffles! Stopped in on Friday night after work for a bite to eat. I really wanted to sit outside, but the hostess didn't try to accommodate us. They were very blah, no smiles, and had zero personality. We were told that seats were reserved, but there were empty seats the entire time we were there. We had the southwest salad which tasted like a hodge podge of leftovers. They also have a back area where you can sit that's like a beer garden and what makes it cool is that it connects to other restaurants outdoor sitting areas that you can access by walking through this alley. It gives off prohibition vibes. Ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with waffle fries, the chicken quesadilla and the Nashville chicken tenders. All dishes were delicious! The Nashville chicken tenders were soooo good. Never had chicken tenders this good. Comes garnished with Cole slaw and pickles and talk about a great combination. I visited Bandit yesterday for the first time for Brunch. Atmosphere: The place was clean. The decor is all 90s/2000s music artists. There was good music playing, a true 90s/2000s vibe. If quiet is what you're looking for, this isn't the place! LOL Food: I ordered Chicken&Waffles. The Chicken was Chicken Strips with a Tangy Glaze on top. The Chicken was ok but I'd definitely get the sauce on the side next time. The Waffles were good. Drinks: I got Bottomless Mimosas for $35. There's only an Orange Juice option and nothing else. My girlfriends from out of town and I went to Bandit on a a Saturday night recently before hitting the town. First of all - The decor and ambiance is what you're paying for; in my opinion. The vibes are immaculate from the playlist of music, to the people at the restaurant, and the cherry on top being LOL the bathroom.... Being Justin Timberlake & Brittany Spears themes in the men's and woman's. Now, the drinks were very tasty. I got a classic mule while my friends go the Samantha. Both drinks were good. Now the food was just meh. It was nothing special. Just basic. My friend got the Southwest Salad, my other friend the shrimp tacos, and I the girlfriend meal. The girlfriend meal, I was kinda upset with as it is advertised as $8 but they end up charging you $16, 2x what it says on the menu! I got fries & a salad and I guess it's $8 each but it isn't transparent. My friend liked her salad but my other friends shrimp tacos were too spicy... The saving grace was the spinach artichoke dip. It was rather good & I do like how they gave us an option of chips or pita bread. What a fun spot! I met some friends here on a Friday early evening for drinks. The atmosphere was so chill and fun compared to most of the other places I've been to in the area, so I immediately loved it. I got the mulled cider to drink -- it was delicious! My company enjoyed their various drinks as well. We didn't originally intend to eat, but we ended up staying for dinner and I am so glad we did. This place exceeded my expectations!! I would love to come back to this joint, especially during summertime Chi. They offer outdoor and indoor dining. Their outdoor patio is semi-covered. I'd give the food a 5 rating but a 3-4 in their service. It was pretty busy when I went on a Saturday, but good thing I had a reservation. We came for restaurant week and honestly, $40 for their 3 course meal was definitely worth the money because the portions were HUGE! We were seated in an area all the way in the back. It was a cute ventilated area with lights and art. Only thing I didn't like is that we had high chairs that didn't have cushions but it was bearable. The back area is also cobblestone so the chairs would wobble. Mozz sticks (1st course): These are huge so they were meant for 2 people. I'd give the cheese pull a 10/10! So yummy and crispy! Kung pao cauliflower (2nd course): Now this dish is what surprised me the most. Perfect for vegetarians! It literally looks like chicken. They were so crispy and not soggy at all, I honestly couldn't tell I was eating cauliflower. So so delicious! The garnishes on top made it even better. Shrimp tacos (3rd course): These were so yummy! Came here for St Patty's celebration. We paid $75 for a bottomless brunch package which came with small plates. This was a bit of a disappointment. The service was great. Our server kept coming by refilling our glasses making sure that we had a glass of bubbly. By the 3rd time, I was good. The food serving was 2 skewers of fruit - a strawberry, pineapple, green melon and cantaloupe. The second plate of food was a cple of pigs in blankets, a cple of small short rib quiches, and corned beef on toast. So I don't eat beef. I shared this with the server and she apologized but there weren't any offerings or subs for me. Again, I was super disappointed bc I wouldn't have paid the $75 if I'd known. The shreddings were used as the salad bed. The corn bread croutons also stuck out to me. I'm not even a big fan of corn bread but I liked the sweetness of it paired with the salad. We did not have a reservation but fortunately there was seating at the bar to accommodate us. We sat upstairs. I ordered the Manhattan lobster roll with waffle fries. The lobster roll was quite dry so I requested mayo and it did the trick. The waffle fries were fried a little too hard for my liking so I requested a softer fry. The softer fries were fresh and much better. Dip them in the garlic Parmesan ranch dressing so an extra razzle dazzle. I had a Lemon Drop cocktail with my meal that made my heart smile. The ladies restroom (right side) has a surprising treat for the girls that were raised by Destiny's Child. I absolutely loved the wallpaper and DC tunes coming from the speakers. So nostalgic! It's also 90's themed with the decor and some of the music as well. I had the crispy chicken sandwich and boy was it fantastic! It was the right amount of crispy and the flavor combination was really good. Between the apple slaw and the aioli, it was the perfect mixture with the chicken. I also had the waffle fries, which are my favorite and I'm glad they had that option. It came with a side of Parmesan ranch and then ketchup if you wanted some. So many options! With my sandwich, I had the Bandit Smash, which was Maker's Mark, sage, lemon, pineapple and mint. It was made really well and tasted just like it sounded. No watered down drinks here!
