Lemon Pepper Chicken Sandwich and Caesar Wedge
    Claudia D.

Bandits was really cool! We went for an earlier dinner at 5pm, before the anticipated bar rush. The space is really warm and retro. The service was very nice and patient, as we had some allergies to note before ordering. The lemon pepper chicken sandwich was delicious! Very crispy and tasted great. The wedge salad was also great, and the best option for someone with extensive allergies. The cocktails were fun and we will definitely be back for their Martini Monday or happy hour specials!

Another great night at Bandits. Not only had some delicious drinks from the menu, but told the bartender what spirits and flavors I like, and he made me some on the fly drinks. Had the decadent grilled cheese and tomato soup, so comforting and filling. Sat and conversed with the security guards for a while, even bought one of the guys a beer. They often checked in on me to make sure I was still doing well and hadn't let my love of cocktails get out of hand! Don't expect this here every night. Bandits can get super busy on weekends. The nights I go are usually Monday or Tuesday. Weeknights are the sweet spot here, to get that local feel and really connect.

This place is nothing special but I'm still happy I came to check it out. It's small and is crowded. I was lucky enough to get a seat at the bar. They have some booths too. What we ordered: - Hudson Cider - Truth or Pear - Fiat - Kombucha

I and the bf have always wanted to try out this spot but ended up only coming late night when it was impossible to get a table, let alone a bar seat. We took the opportunity to come as soon as it opened. Coming right at opening with no reservations is definitely the move. We got fantastic service. Be mindful they will check IDs. Food was pretty good! My favorite thing was the mozzarella sticks; however, there are only 4 and they cost $14, which in my opinion is overpriced, even for the quality. We also got everything bagel shishito peppers and disco tater tots (not pictured) which were all pretty good, but again, a bit pricey. Decor-wise, I'm a sucker for some vintage/70s decor, and this aesthetic was pretty well done for a modern bar! One minor thing - the bathrooms. Omg the bathrooms. Definitely could be better kept. Overall, this is a great place to grab a drink in the area. Maybe skip the food and go elsewhere if you're on a budget.

We arrived right at 11am when they opened and had no problem getting seated. It was a great vibe, once inside really quite a fun place for brunch! Came here for the tots and bec, it was really really good! The plain tots were so crispy and I felt like were truly so delish! The BEC had a great thick sweet and salt bacon slice. The eggs were seasoned perfectly on a home made brioche roll couldn't ask for much more! Would come back!

What a cute diner/Dive Bar! It's like 70s/89s disco vibes. I'm in love with the vibe and the decor. Great music and even better tater tots! Good service as well, i'd come back!

Awesome dive bar. Love the quirky interior and friendly staff. Drinks are good and I have really enjoyed their tot options. Good spot for meeting up with a friend or an first date. 4.6/5

"Celebrating nothing and everything" is what you see upon entering this energetic place. Such a vibe. It was definitely a Sunday Funday bar with the young kids doing their thing. Music was pop-y and lots of loud chatter. To say it was buzzing is an understatement. Obsessed with the vintage decor here. Drinks were strong and seats were comfy! Yes, I posed for a few cute selfies. Come with friends. The outdoor parkettes are heated and also super cute for photo opps.

Taco cart dressed up beer was incredibleeee!! Perfect day drinking spot outside on a nice day. Pickle martini was ok and tater tots are cooked to perfection!

Ugh, I wanted to like it so, so badly. The place itself is actually really cute. I came last night with some friends and we were able to be seated immediately. I thought I was going to have to add an extra person to the res and tried calling multiple times but apparently they don't have a phone line connected (?). Very strange. Luckily my friend canceled last minute so we had the right number of people. We ordered a round of drinks and some apps - the shishito peppers ($12) were good but not groundbreaking. We tried all four of the tot variations and all were good but relatively small portions at $7 a pop. And at the end of the day, they're tator tots. Drinks were underwhelming. I had some version of a White Russian that was pretty bitter, maybe as a result of the rice milk that was substituted for cream? It just seemed like a drink that nobody taste tested before putting it on the menu. A friend got the Bobby wasabi, one of the more interesting drinks, and it didn't taste at all like wasabi which was disappointing. Why put an interesting ingredient in a cocktail and then completely hide the taste? Food/drink misses aside, the main complaint I had was that the bouncer was NASTY. One of the most unpleasant interactions I've ever had. We tried to use the restroom inside and he was so rude and aggressive with us we were completely taken aback. We stayed for one round and left. Cute concept, terrible execution.

Loved this bar! They even gifted my buddy a t shirt which he really appreciated. Music here is a bop too! Can't wait to come back

This is such a cool space. I like the dive bar/diner concept. The drinks are unique and delicious. Love all the flavored colorful salts that they add to the cocktails. I had the steak and eggs which was a steal for the price! Service was quick and waiter was friendly and answered all my questions

Very cute new corner spot in the West Village, sort of have the vibe of Soho Diner from the first glance. Both indoor and outdoor are fun and cute! Cocktail menu are real selections. Food menu seems more like whatever but good with drinks I guess.

Fine experience of your typical bar with a martini happy hour on Mondays. Not bad for a quick drink and some booths to catch up.

It delivered on both fronts, but I really was blown away by the wine. The sheer quantity of available wines is really impressive, and the sommelier was able to recommend a rare wine that fit our interests (a fantastic, effervescent, creamy Txakoli that had lovely fruit and minerals). Later, I tried amazing ice cider. The food rundown: -Sesame pizza Bianca: complimentary bread! This was very good and quite sizable. The bottom is entirely encrusted with sesame. -Scallop crudo (rhubarb, shiso): very good and the plating was gorgeous. Meaty scallops with tangy and pungent flavors. -Snowdance chicken (spinach, sherry, thyme): Super tender, crispy-skinned chicken in a savory sherry sauce. -Sea bass (asparagus, hollandaise): I was surprised at how remarkably well this dish worked. The asparagus was so good with the rich, buttery sauce. Definitely a smaller portion, but the chicken was huge so it balanced out. -Potatoes with ramps: Yum. Served hashbrown-style and the ramps were added as little sauce dollops. I loved the space, and by that I mean the ambience and also the literal amount of space we had to ourselves. We got to stretch out in a roomy corner booth. The room featured a lot of exposed brick and grey and utilitarian ceilings, but it manages to be cozy all the same.

We came in on a Friday evening and it was pretty quiet inside. After we were sat down upstairs, it took a long time for our waitress to come to take our order. All three had very strong flavors that were not balanced with the rest of the drink. After we finished our drinks, we waited an especially long time for the waitress to come back, check on us, and give us our bill. It was especially frustrating because we were the only ones in the bar at this point and we could hear them chatting downstairs. Overall, both service and the drinks need improvement.
