He's not only an excellent experienced surgeon but highly knowledgeable, approachable, accessible, kind and caring. He developes a thorough patient-centered plan based on the best evidence and he acts with no delays. I felt zero anxiety before, during, and after my arthrosentesis. If I ever need more surgeries, no doubt I will put my trust on him. And the whole teamwork in this practice is excellent. Practice is efficiently organized and staff present patients all the nessesary information clearly and timely. P.S.: on the photo me recovering from arthrosentesis; zero pain meds taken in 12 hours after procedure, just ice and rest.

Let's face it, going to the oral surgeon isn't fun. My experience wasn't for me, it was for my 14 year old son. Our journey with Dr. Taylor began when my son got his braces off in September (a joyous experience) and his dentist called to say they'd seen an abnormality on his jaw in the panoramic x-ray taken after the braces were removed (terrifying info). The dentist referred us to Dr. Taylor for a consultation. Of course, this news was devastating as we pondered the worst-case scenario. How would I tell my 14 yr old he might have bone cancer? Our experience with Dr. Taylor began with the consultation. My first impression of the office was that it was clean, nicely decorated (with coffee station in the waiting area), and a welcoming receptionist. We checked in and were called back to the room within a few minutes. Dr. Taylor could not have been any more sensitive to our situation as he discussed the results of the CT scan they had just performed (the CT only took 30 seconds). My son needed to have a biopsy of his jaw. We left there with a packet full of useful information for his proceedure including pre and post proceedural instructions as well as a Xanax, Zantac, and two Aleve to be taken one hour before the proceedure. We were also given a prescription for a prescription pain reliever to be filled prior to the proceedure. The morning of the proceedure my son took the four pills as directed. By the time we reached Dr. Taylor's office he was VERY relaxed and didn't seem to have any anxiety. Again, the wait was only a few minutes before we were taken back to the room. I was allowed to go back with him as they prepped him. He was given a blanket to keep him warm and his long hair was put in a hair net. Vanessa, the dental assistant, put the sensors on to monitor his vitals while my son rambled on about funny things (he was feeling the effect of the Xanax). Dr. Taylor entered shortly after that and effortlessly inserted the IV. We chatted a few minutes about the proceedure and then I went to the waiting room. Within 20 minutes or so I was called back because the proceedure was done. What a relief to have that done. Vanessa showed me the bone specimin and we discussed post-op care. Shortly after, Dr. Taylor came back in and, as my son was waking, reassured him he'd done great. He also said the sample didn't look unusual and that he felt good about it. Of course, we were cautioned that we won't know for sure until pathology comes back in a week. I had already scheduled the follow-up appointment so we were free to go. I pulled our vehicle to a back door and Vanessa walked the groggy young man out to the car. So, if you ever need to have any kind of oral surgery done, Dr Taylor and his staff are competent and caring and I have full trust in them. When it's time for wisdom teeth to come out, I know where I will be taking my son.

Scheduled for surgery, total time for the consult was probably less than 5 minutes. His staff more than makes up for his hastiness. Robin particularly was very pleasant and courteous. She and the other staff were very warm and accommodating. They put me under general and I was out in no time, which was good for me since I usually get nervous with these things. (They did a GREAT job with the IV). When I came out I was very surprised that I was in very little pain. The procedure went much better than I could have anticipated. I was back to eating in 1.5 days and off pain meds in the same amount of time. I highly recommend following the post op instructions very carefully. Graper institute comes highly recommended for wisdom teeth extractions. Shout out to my ride.

Two major complaints about this dental office though: 1) My appointment time was 8:45am. First, she never sent my scripts over to my pharmacy which was an issue since I was supposed to start the oral rinse and antibiotic three days prior to surgery. (Wondering if maybe my oral bacteria count would be lower now if this wasn't the case or my recovery would be easier???) Then, when I went in for my follow up, I was being prodded at with equipment and apparently spit a little water up during the water pic part and Robin literally said "disgusting". She then proceeded to tell me how difficult I was under the anesthesia and how I kept moving around. First of all, it's not like I was consciously trying to inconvenience anyone... I was asleep. Second, I didn't ask so these impertinent comments made absolutely no difference towards my recovery instructions which was the reason for my appointment. This really hurt my feelings since I had expressed how nervous I was about anesthesia and was proud of myself for being fairly normal after. Bf said I just kept thanking everyone after. These comments have made me very reluctant to come back for the sake of being judged in a medical setting. Horrible bed side manners.

In the past, the doctor really seemed to care if you were in pain or not. A year ago, I returned to…read morethis doctor regarding an implant he had previously done years before. The implant began to bleed upon cleaning, so the doctor related that he needed to lay the gum back so it could be cleaned. After the healing process was completed with the cleaning; a lot of the gum was missing from the implant and the metal could be seen from the implant. The tooth with a crown in front of the implant was also missing gum as well. When pointing this out to the doctor several times, he did send me to a gum specialist to have a gum tissue graft on the tooth with the crown in front of the implant. The specialist did not want to do anything to the gum around the implant. However, the implant was still without gum and metal was still showing. The gum stayed sore so he sent me back to the gum specialist who I went to before and he dismissed me and said no one could see it because the tooth was in the back. Because this would be a favor to the doctor, I do not think the specialist wanted to deal with it. To this day, the gum remains sore and I cannot eat on that side of my mouth. What once used to be a comfortable tooth to chew with and a nice appearing gum line is now gone and there is ugly metal showing and to fix it has been estimated at thousands of dollars. Sadly, I am left with this problem and will have to pay out of my own pocket to fix it or try to live with the pain. I e-mailed the doctor but never heard back from him.

I had a dental emergency (a crown that fell off after only 4.5 years) and my regular dentist of the past five years couldn't fit me in or even help find an appointment within a week. To say I was in pain and losing hope would be an understatement. After my seventh call searching for an emergency dentist, I reached Oreana at Radiant, and everything changed. She was incredibly kind and got me in within an hour. When I arrived, the front office staff, Faith and Abby, were so welcoming and had me registered quickly. I was brought back almost immediately by my hygienist, Natalie, who was beyond compassionate and attentive to my pain and sensitivity. Then Dr. Williams stepped in and truly restored my faith; not just fixing my crown, but showing what exceptional care and service should look like. By law a vendor can charge up to 4%, but they are supposed to tell you up front and they never did. I found out after I paid it. 2) They also sell clear aligners, which should be an orthodontic procedure for many reasons. I eventually switched to braces with a nearby orthodontist. 3) They also charge $50 per hour cancellation fee. So if they think your procedure would have taken 2 hours, that would be a $200 cancellation fee charged to your credit card on file.
