I have been to many vets and have had many pets in my life, but I have NEVER had an entire staff give so much love, compassion and show so much concern for the animals they treat. Their wellness plan is worth every penny and I will forever be grateful for the love and medical treatment that they gave to our Baby Chloe. She almost died and they treated her for two days and checked on her when we got home. The doctor spent his lunch break making sure she was becoming active again. This location has been challenged by COVID-19, but I am paying monthly fee's regardless of them not being able to provide adequate services. Friendly staff, but not great at communicating. Traveled 45 min from ID to be told they did not have the vaccine we were scheduled to get and had to make the trip again a week later. Caution on using the wellness plan. It is a bit of a con, and they are defiantly more interested in the money than providing customer service on this one. You are tied in a year to year with no notification of renewal. Had them for several year (convenient) and once I determined it was no longer worth the money as there is no location close to us, they have no problem in reminding you of commitment and dues they will charge at that point. This place is such horse shit, they try to act like they care to get you to pay for there over priced insurance crap then drag their feet with everything. Was told to go to an oncologist to get a diagnosis and he said to resolve it as soon as possible. So we contacted multiple times and were ignored and when we finally do get a hold of someone they talk to my wife so rudely she was in tears and it had been MONTHS since the diagnosis. Ive been going to banfield for years out of what i thought was convenience and because it was a big company i thought they'd be able to offer me great care. There was a brief moment where the care was decent and the staff did really seem to care about my pet but the care and customer service has declined greatly, I don't know if thats because the good staff has left or what the case my be but banfield has stopped caring. I had an issue with an appointment and what was prescribed to my pet and when i called to voice my concerns for my pet i was told id get a call back to actually talk to a medical staff. That never happened and I had to call them close to closing to actually get my voice heard. When I did finally get someone on the phone i was talked over and the well being of my pet was not put first. You pay for a wellness plan that you don't ever actually get use out of. They didn't agree to see my pet to try and figure out what was wrong even though I asked and just told me to wait and see how he was doing in a few weeks even though he was having trouble walking and climbing up onto furniture, every attempt has him crying. I was told I'd get a call back in a few after the doctor could review information from the emergency vet not surprisingly i never received a call. I had an appointment, told me my dog would be finished with dental cleaning in 3 to 4 hours, I was on time.. they had my dog a total of 7 hours, never gave her her comprehensive exam and kept referring to her as HE. I arrived at 7:45am they didn't even start with my dog until 3:00 in the afternoon! I come from Idaho (because there is no Banfield in Idaho) and I still had months left on my Banfield contract when I moved from Salem Oregon. Their prices for extractions were double that of Salem Banfield.. Horrible experience. After moving around the last few years I decided to not renew my dogs wellness plan. Since she had 1 more wellness visit I decided to take her in. First impression was it took 35 minutes to even check in for my appointment. Then no one ever called to tell me if she was done and no one ever answers the phone so I showed up right after 3pm and was told that the Dr. was just now doing her bloodwork. What on earth had they been doing the whole day? Meanwhile it's very clear after getting her home that she was in a kennel the entire day without water. You stand and wait for 30 minutes minimum. God forbid someone calls, because the customer in line is less important than the one on the phone. I took my daughter Cleo there Saturday and she was given top notch, A+++ care. Being a manic spaz, I was super nervous about her health. Someone I know shared their amazing experience with all of their children when they brought them to Banfield. I had found a new client's free general exam coupon and was able to make her appointment online. The pet hospital is amazing and the Veterinarians are friendly. Also, the website has pricing which helped me budget for my daughter vaccinations. Supper affordable and they offer wellness plans to help parents meet their furchild medical needs. Our experience was so great. What we thought was just a tooth problem turned into a whole other, inoperable tumor situation that was blocking JC's airway. We had to say goodbye, right away, and the empathy we received from Dr. Carr and the two team members was just incredible. They took such great & gentle care of him. I purchased plans for 4 dogs. That's at a cost of approximately $160 per month. In October I was notified that appointments for two of the dogs would be canceled, but I'd be getting a call to reschedule. It's December 7th, no call, so I decided to give them a ring. I was notified that the clinic is closed today and that they would not accept my call. The plans are supposed to allow all 4 dogs access to a vet when needed. Two need to be spayed and one needs his wellness check, yet I do not have access to a vet. I am holding up my end of the bargain, paying my bill on time each month, but they are not holding up their end of the contract regarding serving my dogs. read more

LOVE BANFIELD!!! We have used this Banfield for a year and a half. This is our second Banfield after moving cross country. The vets and assistants are very friendly and give our pets wonderful attention and care. Our three mini schnauzers love coming here. We walk in and they hop up on the scale to be weighed and then happily and excitedly go in the back. I have been in the back rooms and they are clean and organized. The great thing about Banfield is that they do not chase the dollar. I have felt informed as an owner and also that they care about the care I four pets, not just making a profit. It's much more economical to plan your pets expenses, and the Banfield plans allow you to bring your pet in for unlimited visits. The annual costs include all of their standard vaccines and labs. We have been thrilled with our Banfield experiences across the board, this location is no exception. It is a wonderful vet to take your beloved dogs to. read more

You could have at least told us we could have a seat and that it would be a minute until someone came out to get us but instead she answered another phone call while we awkwardly stood in front of her thinking she'd give us a little more information. There was 1 vet that showed interest in the health of my dog, Benji. every other treated us like a number. We signed up on the wellness plan which was supposed to cancel after 1yr... it kept billing us after the fact, I figured month to month. I lost my job and couldn't pay 120days, so without any human contact to me directly, they just sent me to collections. THEN FINALLY someone called me to simply inform me what they already did without my consent and they can't take it back. Claiming they don't legally have to notify me... just not a very bright or intelligent location. Watch out they only care about getting paid, by any means. They might throw a machine message at you, but won't advise you of anything worthwhile, till it's too late. Shame on Banfield. It's my mission to help people stay away from here. If they had at least offered me a payment plan, Asked to cancel my plan, at least 1 human interaction, or ANY SORT OF NOTIFICATION REGARDING COLLECTIONS! That's not Just a fee, but collections... you are messing with my entire family's livelihood. I moved from southern cali to pullman and the closest banfield hospital is in spokane and even tho im not happy about how far it is i am very happy how they treated my bruno (an english bulldog). I had taken him to the banfield in oceanside for his tail irritations and some skin problems, but it was never fixed it was always just a quick fix like wiping up the water from a leak but it still leaked. The Vet at this banfield looked at his problem and realized it was a yeast infection. even tho i was given 300 dollars whorth of medication it was all necessary. my friend is a vet tech and she explained everything i was given was really important. maybe next time ill just get some of the antibiotics from a walgreens pharmacy since it may be cheaper there. read more
