Came here with some girlfriend for the Thai tea and what an experience it was! When we got seated they started off with some water and brought out the menu as well as the tier of goodies. Everything was described to us and we jumped right in. We started with a green tea and usually that's NOT my jam, however it ended up being my favorite. The bottom tier of items (savory) was also my favorite especially the pad Thai croissant (I could have gone home with a few of them). The middle tier had the coconut tapioca item and I seriously could have had more. The citrus tea was fragrant but not over powering. The scone was my least favorite as it felt like it was undercooked and still doughy. The last tier (desserts) - the macaroons were okay, the chocolate was a little too much for my liking, I did like the lemon and the tea (vanilla chai) wasn't what I expected but I also asked for some milk to go with it. The mango dessert was a little much so I ended up taking it home. We had plenty of tea, the service was wonderful and I would do it again as the menu is seasonal and changes. read more

This is my regular Thai place. It is owned by a Thai family and during the week they serve a peanut sauce side salad and spring roll with the meal. They don't do that on the weekend. We get drunken noodles, and Massaman curry. This is the most dependably good restaurant I have found. These days so many restaurants are not dependable. read more

Some of the best thai food in the area! We came for lunch on a Friday and got seated immediately. The service was excellent-servers were kind and helpful. The restaurant was very clean and decorated beautifully. During lunch, each meal comes with the cup of the soup of the day. We got tom yum, which was soo flavorful! Everything we got was delicious, including the Pad Thai, Cashew chicken, Red curry, and Kra Pao. Portion sizes were huge and we had enough for lunch the next day. I recently came across this place as they serve Thai afternoon tea which is such a brilliant fusion concept! I tried it for my birthday and we had the most amazing experience! There are three tiers and they pair a different tea with each one. I loved everything we were served and some standouts were the pad Thai fish croissant, Thai rice cracker and the poached pumpkin but seriously everything was delicious. The scone was moist and tasty too. The service is good and they are attentive. I got a free scoop of ice cream for my birthday. You need to reserve in advance for the afternoon tea. I had the high tea experience, which was pretty great. It's high tea, but with Thai influence. I quite enjoyed the food here. Service is great as well. You get to try three different teas for each tier of the tray. The bottom tier is savory (chicken satay sandwich, curry puff, Tom Kha croissant). Second tier is sweet (Thai Rice cracker, Scone, sweet sticky rice with Thai custard). Last tier is macarons and lychee raspberry mousse cake. It was Valentine's theme, so the mousse cake was in the shape of a heart. They will continue to refill your tea as much as you like each round. I went with a family member to pick up the food, so I didn't go inside to see the interior, and I can't really speak too much on service. However, we did end up picking the food up a little after their closing time, so it may be that they close their doors at 9:30, but allow customers to eat/ get their food for some time after. Ok now for the food! I got the fresh basil stir fry with fish, and it was genuinely the best stir fry I have ever had. The food was seasoned so well, I could not believe what I was eating. Also, I usually don't get fish from restaurants, but this was the best fish I've ever had from a restaurant! I believe the fish is battered and fried with some simple seasonings like salt and pepper, but it was cooked perfectly and was the perfect addition to the stir fry. The stir fry comes with brown sauce, so the fish soaks it up and creates delicious bombs of flavor. The veggies were also on point, I loved the bamboo shoot the most! Service was friendly and very attentive! We walked in on a Wednesday evening around 5:30pm and had no wait. There is plenty of parking directly out front of the restaurant, as it is in a strip of stores. The menu is huge and has great variety, and you're able to choose your protein(s) for most dishes. We opted for a variety of noodles, rice, and a curry (pad Thai, pineapple fried rice, and yellow curry). Everything was delicious and very tasty! Price point is fair for portions and value. Just a heads up that it's $39.95/person or $50/person including tax and tip. The menu is already preset, and it's a three tier course with a different kind of tea for each course. Met some friends for dinner this past Sunday on our way into Dallas from Austin at this really good Thai restaurant! Nice presentation of food and everything was delicious. Loved the cute butterfly shaped rice! I tried a sake that they said was less sweet than their lychee sakitini but it was still too sweet so they exchanged it for standard unflitered bottle of sake, which was good. I think they might not have believed a couple of us could handle spice so the dishes we thought would be very spicy at level 4 or 3.5 were not as spicy as we expected, but they did bring us some chili sauce to make things a bit hotter. This was one of those last-minute we're all starving for lunch, Saturday lunches. A little Yelp search and this place popped up. We came after 1pm and there were only two other tables eating so we sat quickly. Sodas are served in cans which isn't ideal, but my family assures me they were tasty. We ordered tons of food: edamame (it was coated in salt), gyoza (sauce with this was tasty), fried spring rolls (yum), Penang curry, pad see yew (weird flavor), and dry chicken over curry dish (I forget the name--it's a special on the table card). We enjoyed the food, though the Pad See Ew had a weird flavor in it (I've order it for over 10 years at many restaurants). Stopped in a with a few friends to check out the Thai Afternoon Tea and I am so glad I did! The offerings were uniformly delicious and the service was spot on. Highlights from the offerings were the Chicken Curry Puff which was my favorite of everything. Just a hint of spice and a great way to start. The Thai Coconut Pancake from the second tier was also a highlight with delicious pieces of young coconut in a mochi pancake. Even the scones were super delish and I had a bit of doubt since we are at a Thai place. Overall I really cannot recommend coming to check the Thai Afternoon Tea enough. Was craving Thai food and saw a special for this place on UberEats!! The Panang Curry was DELICIOUS! Panang curry has a hint of sweetness to it. The one served here was very flavorful. I picked chicken as my protein, and it was very tender. The Pad Thai was also very solid! Great flavor, protein was tender, and good texture. The only items I didn't like from my order were the dumplings and spring rolls. I only ordered them since there was a bogo special on UberEats, and I needed to meet a minimum order threshold to activate a coupon. I'm not sure that these are made in-house, because they do remind me of the frozen versions you get a grocery store. It's only offered on Saturdays between 1-4pm and you have to make reservations at least a day in advanced. The restaurant is a hidden gem in Richardson. For the Saturday afternoon, half the restaurant was dedicated to tea. I loved all the tea pots as decor. They have a rotating menu for the afternoon tea. Each tier is served with a different tea. The meal included savory sandwiches, pastries and desserts. My favorite was the savory sandwiches, which had Thai flavors like curry and Thai basil. I liked that there were three types of tea served. Hot thai tea was really good! However, my only criticism is that the tea wasn't as hot as I would have liked. My girlfriends and I have never had Thai Afternoon Tea and this was amazing. I had to tell my family and friends right after we left. The servers walked us through the process. They served us 3 different teas that were paired with each tier. Bottom Tier - Green Tea, Middle Tier - White Pear Tea, Bottom Tier - Thai Tea with cream. Our cups were constantly being filled. The bottom tier sandwiches could be a bit spicy but it was so good. The middle tier had rice cakes with peanut and shrimp sauce in the shot glass for you to pour on top. The sticky black rice in the shot glass was delicious! The top tier was all the sweets. Love how they topped it off with a red velvet cake and a small vessel filled with jelly for you to squirt either inside or on top. Each food item was so unexpected ... at least for us. You would need to like a little bit of spicy, a lot of Thai and be looking for something different. When we were there on Saturday, the restaurant was pretty full.
