Plastic wrap in the PAD THAI NOODLES
    Jana B.

I ordered today for delivery & most of the meal was inedible. The Shrimp Bang Bang had a taste of rancid oil and the shrimp was fried to dust. The Tom Kha soup was decent, but would not order again. The Shrimp Pad Thai had PLASTIC WRAP in it. Some of the shrimp had shell still on it. When I called the restaurant, I asked to speak to the manager and he said he was not there. I asked his name, no response. I told him about the meal and he said I had to get Grub Hub to refund me. I said I would pay for the soup as that is all I could eat. He kept saying to get Grub Hub to pay. He never got the point that Grub Hub only delivered this, they weren't the ones that make this garbage! PS, I never had a GrubHub account, but do now & they refunded the charges. They get 5 stars, the rating on the food stands.

DRUNKEN NOODLE (Pad Kee Mao) SHRIMP BANG BANG TOM YUM SOUP

The pad is good, a little bit salty but still goos Shrimp bang bang smell a bit weird to me of the fried noodle outside, but the shrimp is good Tom Yum soup is too sour for me, even a bit bitter at the end of the tongue There are only a few tables as they have more to-go customers than the dine-in I recommend the Pad kee mao overall

Pinto has a plethora of vegan options, ranging from refried tofu to vegan sea bass. There is also extreme spice levels if you are feeling adventurous. The service has always been quick and friendly. The cost does not always fit the portion sizes, but the quality of the food is not compromised at all. The indoor ambiance is nice and qaint, but there is limited indoor seating available. Probably best to place an order to-go.

Really cute, small restaurant for quick eats. There's only a few seats so it's mostly for takeout or small groups. The food comes out pretty quickly and in to-go containers. I thought the flavor was pretty intense. There's only bottled water there, no fountain drinks. Portion size looks all right. Great location for students and around the UTD area.

I ordered a bottle of sauce with our dinner and it was so distinct that I had to look it up on Google. I appreciate having things so authentic I don't know what they are. Will definitely order again to try new things.

Went for lunch the other day and will be back. There's seating both in and outside. I liked that there's a kiosk on the outside where you could also order food. The Thai Style Chicken Basil was great. It came with jasmine rice and I had my egg on top scrambled. Being my first time, I had the level 2 spice on the side. I used it all and enjoyed it. May go for level 3 next time. The chicken is grounded which is what I prefer and it had red bell pepper and onion in it. The Thai Iced Coffee with milk was okay. It was very sweet. I haven't had Thai coffee lately to be able to compare, but was not completely sold on the flavor.

Yummy bandaid (NOT tofu as can be seen by the edges and mouthfeel)

Yummy bandaid (NOT tofu as can be seen by the edges and mouthfeel) Lack of food safety and the chefs don't care at all. Pintos used to be so good 2-3 years ago, but along with Covid, they've become absolute scumbags. Found a torn bandaid in my leftovers from yesterday. Thought the fibrous texture yesterday was just bean sprouts but I got a wonderful surprise this afternoon for lunch. I hope a food inspector comes and forces them to actually care about what they do to their food. Who knows what else they might be doing to the food if they're willing to disregard bandaids.

I made a pick up order online and the communication on providing order updates was great. This was my first time eating chicken basil and now my expectations are super high. I look forward to trying different dishes from the huge variety they have

Tom Yum soup and Yellow Fried rice are phenomenal. Their spice levels are true. I got 5 (Thai hot) and it was correct.

The menu is awesome, and my all time favorite is definitely their classic karaage chicken (so sad it hasn't been on the hh menu for a long time now). I recently tried their Tini Tuesdays and the lychee martini was fantastic. They also have an amazing happy hour menu with tons of food options, which is a perfect, budget-friendly way to try a little bit of everything. The space itself is great. There is plenty of seating inside, and the patio outside is so cute with its swinging chairs. It has a great vibe that works well for date nights, family gatherings, or just catching up with friends. The service style is super straightforward. Its open seating, you just order at the bar, take a pager tracker to your table, and they bring the food right out to you. It's incredibly easy, but the place does get packed. I highly recommend going a bit early to beat the dinner rush and grab a good spot!

Prior to driving there, I call the restaurant to ask if they could accommodate me -- and they said yes. I got the chicken ramen and subbed for katsu protein, shrimp tempura, karaage and milk tea and my friend got the black garlic ramen. The karaage came out tossed in a an acidic sauce with sesame seeds -- almost like saucy wings. This caught me off guard because the menu does not indicate it would be covered in sauce -- and we didnt want it sauced. Shrimp tempura had 3 shrimps and the rest vegetables. Another surprise because the menu listed shrimp tempura as an item on its own, and then another line item for vegetable tempura. My assumption is this is a cost saving approach -- and while I have no problem with that, transparency would be good for customers. Just list out what is included in the dish so no one is surprised. The ramen was disappointing. The broth came out clear (like water -- i wouldnt dare compare it to pho because pho broth is packed with flavor). There was absolutely no flavor. It was the only ramen on the menu that I could have (again not what I was told when I called). I asked for soy sauce, chili oil and even dumped the leftover sauce from my tempura into the liquid broth and still it could not be saved. The black garlic broth was also bland. Neither of us finished the meal. Service was slow, only one girl working the entire dining room, (it was a weekend so packed). We waited for a while, they forgot my milk tea and it was impossible to flag the waitress until the very end. The only plus, they are extremely generous with the eggs.

And the food is authentic. Hot Hong Kong milk tea and French toast are my favorite breakfast items and that's exactly what I got. If I were in Hong Kong, I would get them in the morning. But I wouldn't mind having them any time of the day! The milk tea was great. I liked the aromatic, bold black tea. It was fairly creamy and smooth. The French toast was delicious also. Fried golden brown, it was toasty on the outside, and nutty, buttery (with peanut butter filling) on the inside. I liked the condensed milk drizzled on top, instead of syrup, which I normally use at home. They also have other Hong Kong style dishes, like the baked cutlet pork chop with rice, fish fillet in creamy white sauce, and iconic street foods like curry fish balls, radish, and pork rinds (yummy!) This place is fully decorated with so many Hong Kong street items, like the big wall pictures of busy, beautiful city views, signs of major streets, shop signs, etc. If you're not from Hong Kong, they may not mean too much to you. But if you are, they're invariably nostalgic. If you want a delightful experience of Hong Kong food and ambience, come give it a try.

We waited about 35 minutes for our takeout order and realized they forgot a part of our order so we waited about another 10. There were lots of people working that day and it didn't seem to help their organization or pace. We ate the food within 5 minutes of getting our complete order and it was a disappointment. My husband and I both ordered the Dangki Box with chicken. Unfortunately the chicken was really chewy as if most of the pieces were overcooked. While we ordered two different sauces, we couldn't taste the difference between the two that should have been Mango Habanero and Asian BBQ. The spring rolls lacked flavor and the dipping sauce was salty and didn't add to the dish. While the employees all kept apologizing for how long things were taking and for the fact our order wasn't complete (hence why I gave 2 stars), it didn't make up for the disappointment of this $40 lunch.
