I ordered today for delivery & most of the meal was inedible. The Shrimp Bang Bang had a taste of rancid oil and the shrimp was fried to dust. The Tom Kha soup was decent, but would not order again. The Shrimp Pad Thai had PLASTIC WRAP in it. Some of the shrimp had shell still on it. When I called the restaurant, I asked to speak to the manager and he said he was not there. I asked his name, no response. I told him about the meal and he said I had to get Grub Hub to refund me. I said I would pay for the soup as that is all I could eat. He kept saying to get Grub Hub to pay. He never got the point that Grub Hub only delivered this, they weren't the ones that make this garbage! WOW! So many vegan and vegetarian options which is pretty rare here in Texas but I love to see it. Made quickly and food was very good! The vegan "chicken" nuggets tasted so spot on that I had to double check and make sure I wasn't made the wrong thing (as of the time of writing this there is no regular chicken nugget on their menu to have confused it with). It made me too uncomfortable as a long term veggie to finish them lol but I was very impressed. There are so many other vegan meat imitations too that I didn't try. The cost does not always fit the portion sizes, but the quality of the food is not compromised at all. The indoor ambiance is nice and qaint, but there is limited indoor seating available. Went for lunch the other day and will be back. There's seating both in and outside. I liked that there's a kiosk on the outside where you could also order food. The Thai Style Chicken Basil was great. It came with jasmine rice and I had my egg on top scrambled. Being my first time, I had the level 2 spice on the side. I used it all and enjoyed it. May go for level 3 next time. The chicken is grounded which is what I prefer and it had red bell pepper and onion in it. The Thai Iced Coffee with milk was okay. It was very sweet. My partner had chicken fried rice and it was very fishy, which was weird and unappealing. But that was the only fault with the order! Pintos used to be so good 2-3 years ago, but along with Covid, they've become absolute scumbags. Found a torn bandaid in my leftovers from yesterday. I ordered a red curry fried rice with spring rolls and tofu which was superb and my wife ordered Pad Thai noodles with tofu and chicken Both me and my wife loved the food. The food was delicious, with just the right amount of spiciness. The food was incredibly delicious. My suggestion would be they could be generous in portion and charge few dollars more. This is a great lunch spot if you're in the area. It's the best Thai food I've found in Dallas, though I can't say I've been to many places and I've had better Thai elsewhere. Service: The service was fairly quick (about 7 minute wait) mostly due to the lack of customers at the time. Price: The prices are relatively high for food of similar flavor/quality. $9.99 for vegetable/basil fried rice is expensive considering the small portion size and the amount of vegetables that were included in the dish. Quality: The food was good and comparable to a few of my favorite take out places in the area. The corn patties were fried to perfection but tasted a little bland. The fried rice was good. The egg roll was great. I requested spice level 5 because I like my food HOT. It was great. Portion: The portion I received was less than what I was expecting for the price I paid but enough for two meals. Variety: They do have a large variety of options: vegan, vegetarian, seafood, cow, chicken, etc. Will I be back? I'll probably come back with friends but I won't go back on a regular basis. This place is a typical ghost kitchen. Their food has never been consistent even when ordering the same dish. I don't know if the cooks keep changing or if they're untrained. The spice levels are a total miss. I couldn't eat the 3-level spicy noodle dish and when ordering level 2, it had absolutely no heat. There are other thai places less than 3 miles away from this one with the same prices and food quality, but with DOUBLE the portions.
