The Pho was good, my sister and I came in for a late lunch . We had the spring rolls as an appetizer and they are fresh. The service was good the brought our drinks and appetizers out right away. The ambiance in a cozy Vietnamese restaurant. Now of course I have to check out the restrooms. They are not really for the mobility challenged. The hall to the restrooms is used for storage and for the carts they use to help clean off the tables. When you get into the restroom. The toilet is low and there are no safety hand rails for anyone to use to help grip. In front of the toilet is some type of drain that has a screwed top that sticks up and could be a trip hazard. This was a tasty pho! It is on the higher end, cost wise, and not much better than other places that sell it cheaper. Moreover, only one size (equivalent to "regular" or small-medium) is available. It filled me up but I have the food capacity of a pipsqueak, so I can see people with a larger appetite going for an appetizer or grabbing dessert after. If you like your pho to cool down a bit, there are items on the menu where the pho comes in the regular bowls. First off, the broth was delicious. I loved how the meat just fell off the oxtail bone. The steak strips come raw so you can cook to your own liking. The noodles come separate as well so you can eat and cook them to your liking. I'm lazy, so I dump everything in. They checked up on us at least twice and the food came out at a good time. The pho was a little bit bland. I guess I should've ordered some nuoc beo (aromatic fat that you usually can order to add). One of the most extraordinary pho I've been to. Iove the idea that the ox tail pho comes in a sizzling hot Korean stone bowl. The boiling broth retain its heat inside this stone bowl so you will always have a good pho through out your meal. Not cold after 5 minutes like other pho restaurants. You have to try the ox tail pho that's their specialty. The broth was pretty flavorful to me but my friends wasn't too crazy about it. I tried many pho broth and restaurants and it's one of the best one so far. The appetizers like the shrimp spring roll and egg rolls aren't that great and could use some improvement. I'll start with the service which gets a 5 out of 5. We brought in a group of more than 15 on short notice and they accommodated us very well. Food was served in a reasonable amount of time. The dining area was not huge so seating was a little tight. Having said that, we had one issue with hair on a food item. Not sure who to blame but they were kind enough to not charge us for that item. Now for the main course, the food on average was ok. Coming from H-town we're a little spoiled.
