This is a new nice addition to the Union Station, new spot at the Union Station food court. Apparently, the same owner as Khao San Road, lower price but you get at least 90% of the flavour. I arrived right at noon, long line up for the second day, but they gave us chips to try. This helped when I was starving and lining up. I've ordered the drunkened noodles and find the noodle texture great, along with the sauce. However, I find the pork a little too sweet to my liking. I added $3 to add the shrimp to my noodles and tofu. I did like the added ingredients to my noodles. Anyways, I will be back to try other items on the menu!

We went there at noon and the line was not that long, thai express always gets the same amount of ppl in line too but the reason why they were moving so slowly is because it took them FOREVER to make one dish. The assembly line, the cooking line, I don't think the staff is really familiar with what they do, we literally waited almost 40 minutes before we eventually get our dish. The plastic container they use is very thin but the curry is very very hot, all of us got burnt because of that, and putting stuff hot like that into plastic container just gave me health concerns. The portion is really small, I don't eat that much usually but I still think it was not enough. I ordered the green curry, it tastes super good, super super good, so I wasn't that mad after. However waiting for 40 minutes for a food court location is just insane and im not going to give it another try unless I can get it thru ritual.

Stuck in Union Station during a snowstorm? That's ok, the newly renovated food hall has something for everyone, even for late night eats. Walked in to the station while waiting for a friend to catch a train out and had a craving for some noodles. Luckily, Bangkok Buri had just what I wanted. It's casual fast Thai food but the service was amazing and the cashier explained all the option for me as I had a hard time choosing between the Pad-Thai or the Drunken Noodles ( I went with the latter). They have a cool open kitchen so you can actually see your food being made while you wait at the end of the counter. Took about 5 minutes from my order to my dish being plated. Good menu (including vegan) options for weary train travellers. I'd recommend this over some of the other fast food options in the food hall.

A fast food Thai joint similar to a Thai express. I ordered the drunken noodles and found it mediocre and I found the portion size not worth the price that I paid for. It is though a good option to pick from in the food court!

Grabbed chicken drunken noodles and they made it fresh and tastes great! Good for a quick bite!

I wasn't sure of what to expect. I've had pad Thai a couple of times before and it wasn't that great. The Penang curry caught my eye so I went with that and it was a great decision. There was a ton of chopped peanuts on top, that I absolutely love, and the curry mixed so well with the rice. The was a decent amount of meat and to be honest, I wasn't expecting very much from a food court meal. I was pleasantly surprised.

    Panang curry with cauliflower rice

I'm torn between three and four stars. Based on the food I would give it 3 stars, but they get an extra 1star for the fact that they offer cauliflower rice! Not aware of many Thai places that offer that. Plus the rice was veryyyy good!!! I had veggie panang curry that I also enjoyed. The amount of veggies in the curry was good and the curry taste was also acceptable - a little bland for my liking so I added lots of tabasco and siracha but still later had to ask for more salt too (but that's personal preference). Staff was friendly and efficient. Would suggest: keeping salt and pepper sachets for those who like. Would also recommend staff to ask about drinks when taking orders. I forgot to order at the time and later it seemed like too much of a hassle and I just went to Tim's instead.

Went to Union Station's new food court downstairs at around 12pm on a weekday. Holy smokes the line was probably the longest for this place. I was prepared for a good 15-30min. wait. Isham came up to everyone in line and distributed menus. She also was open to giving her input as to what would serve our taste buds best! I told her I loveeeee spice! She told me she was Pakistani/Punjabi and loved spice too. Although she recommended the Drunken Noodles, I opted for the Red Curry. She told me to tell the staff at the front to add extra chili rings. I finally got to the front and they were okay with me giving them a $100 bill. I found a $10 any way...phew! I asked for it to be extra spicy and the girl said she would ask them to put in chilli flakes while cooking my meal as opposed to having them on top or on the side (a mistake a lot of places make). They called my name in about 10 mins or less. The girl who gave my order to me gave me a side bit of peanuts (which opened up in my purse and had to go in the garbage). She also gave me even more chillis. The curry was piping HOT. I walked from Union Station and took a subway to College Station and my food was still pretty warm. The dish was so incredibly yummy for food court food. Wow. It was saucy, spicey and most importantly full of vegetables. I opted for tofu as my protein source. My total was $12.43. Note* The sauces are all gluten-free and vegan! There are a lot of vegetarian options here. In other words, my tofu Red Curry was entirely vegan. Amazing job!!! Will definitely come back!

Sorry but this is a miss for me. I went on the first day and got the basil stir fry with rice. It costed about $15 after tax and portions were on the small side. I also waited pretty long in line but this is understandable since they just opened and it was at lunch time. The sauce for the stir fry was WAY too sweet. There was no subtlety at all...just pure sugar. I am not a fan, sorry. Maybe the noodles are better but I'm not that impressed to come back.

    Jessica C.

My husband and I tried this delicious Thai basil stir fry from Bangkok Buri. The flavors were nice, a good mix of sweet and spicy. The proteins we chose were chicken and steak. The rice was great with the stir fry as well. I really like the fresh veggies and sauce that accompanied the stir fry. The line is very fast and the service is great. You can also add more spice to your dish if you decide too. I would definitely eat here again and try some of the other tasty dishes.

Just passing through Union station and saw this Thai place and checked out the menu, I had plenty of time to check the menu over because they had a "lineup starts here" at THE END OF THE LINE!! I waited for about 15 minutes and watched customer after customer pass me by and the staff just looked at me, they had plenty of time to look up and tell me that the lineup started at the cash register. When I got to the cash and explained to the gentleman about how the sign is placed at the end of the line and his response was "it's complicated" and then he laughed.. I didn't find it funny one bit and then informed him that it doesn't take very long to move the sign and again his response was "it's complicated I know it should be moved" with an even bigger smile.... Because I was here to judge the food (really) and not the crappy staff responses I placed an order for the most simple thing on the menu, chicken pad Thai.. nothing more nothing less. So I waited some more...and some more.. Then when I received my order It had nuts poured all over my pad Thai, not once did the staff inform me that peanuts would be dumped into my meal nor was a sign posted that this would be done automatically. Thankfully for this establishment....I do not have an allergy to peanuts and if I did I would have no problem contacting my lawyer. CHICKEN PD THAI: -Cheep portion amount of actual noodles -Veggies in top we're freezing cold -Chicken portion was portion was poor -Sauce used to marinate precooked under portioned tasteless chicken was good. -Lime was also added without to meal without permission. Overall this place is all show and no go, if you can't even make a proper chicken pad Thai then you shouldn't be making food AT ALL! The staff must have known about the sign and have it setup that for personal entertainment, I've worked in many restaurants myself over the years and this is definitely something I would have laughed at. But Yelp didn't exists then like it does today. Smiles I would avoid this place at all cost, it's not sour grapes it just the reaction to really bad service, it's 2018 and you can't avoid this kind of bad service anymore. Clearly the staff doesn't care about the product they were putting out and sometimes that can be the result of bad management, which I don't think was the case here. Poor staff judgment is to blame for this one, hope the laughs were worth it. If you really want pad Thai I'd google maps the closest Thai Express (which is a 1.4km walk from union station, just north on University Ave) Oh and the thin plastic bowls are a nice touch too so when people are running through a train station trying to catch a late train because they spent 20 minutes waiting at the wrong sign while getting Horrid service they won't burn themselves or someone else.... no no... when it slips out the hands and hot scolding food fall everywhere it's a good idea... Union station was better off without this place :)

    Sophy P.

Loved the fact that this place was located right underneath the station. So convenience. I raced to catch my train and missed it so had time to spare. Decided to grab something from Bangkok Buri, they had quite a long line but it was going quickly and they had about three cooks and three people pushing, taking orders and packing them. Super efficient and QUICK! Bonus: Food was amazing. Pretty expensive but well worth it considering they make it as you order so it's fresh and piping hot. Even with the super fast service, the dish still loooks like it was professionally prepared. I was wowed. Can't wait to try their other dishes. Happy Eating Fellow Yelpers!

I'm bummed!! After a huge hypethe food court in Union station finally opened and I was super excited to have yet another amazing choice of food vendors near where I work! So one fine day I decided to get some food and share it with a co-worker. We got their famous chips, tofu pad thai and veggie green curry along with white rice. The pact I tasted a lot like any other pad Thai you would get from a takeout place and did not hold up to the infamous Legacy of ksr. The green curry was marginally better but the worst for me where the Buri chips. not only were they over fried and tough but they were also under seasoned and tasted stale. The service was also exceptionally slow. The reviews are correct when it comes to confusion around lining up - while it's a new setup and the customers don't know which way to go the staff does nothing to direct them or even try to help them. Not sure if I would give them a try again because not only was the food underwhelming but the wait was exceptionally long. yes they do smile and say sorry for the wait but what does that do for you? I would rather walk and get real KSR take out versus eating here.

The grapfruit bitters rounded out the sweetness of the Chambord and the sourness of the lemon. We decided to order another cocktail each just as our food arrived. I had the I Have a Lychee Secret. It was a little on the sweet side, but was very yummy. I loved the black pepper on top but didn't really taste much cilantro. My husband had La Passionista which was great. It was so well-balanced and flavourful. The dumplings were AMAZING! The butterly pea infused tapioca gave the perfect bouncy, chewy texture to the outside and the mushroom and radish centres were so tasty. Our waitress explained that they should be eaten in a lettuce cup with cilantro, mint and peanuts. YUM! Such a flavour bomb. The only thing I would have changed would be to add some sort of a spicy, salty, sour dipping sauce like a nuoc cham. The green papaya fritters were also just fantastic. They were crispy, crunchy and the dipping sauce was a little spicy and sweet. All in all, we really enjoyed our meal and would 100% return. I have already reccomended them to others.

The Khao Soi was super creamy and you can choose your protein and spice level! They didn't skimp out on the protein, the bowl was loaded. It was so creamy that it became alittle too rich for me at the end. I think if I visit next time, I would opt to try another dish. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a place with decent pricing, quantity, and friendly service!
