Food is always fresh and delicious. We have only had take out from here. We have ordered from here 3 or 4 times and this will continue to be our go to Thai carry out. The chicken Sa-tay with the peanut sauce is some of the best I have had. The pad Thai noodles are delicious as well as the fried rice and spring rolls. We will be back. Absolutely love this place, glad it is still open as a carry out. This location in particular is the only one that offers Neau Yang Namprik Pow, a delicious spicy beef dish, kinda like a thai version of Korean bbq....my mouth waters thinking about it. The pad thai and drunken noodles are always fantastic too. I also really appreciate the fact that I've never had them screw up an special order. I have been ordering take-out from this location since they opened. I believe it opened in the mid 2000's. I have also been eating at all their locations since 1999. It has, until very recently, been my favorite restaurant and cuisine ever. Unfortunately, food quality has begun to drop-off recently. I now live quite far from this place, so when I get take-out from there I have to drive a couple of hours round-trip. I say this so you know just how much I have loved the food. My favorite has always been their Hot and Sour Soup, and I usually get 2 or 3 orders of it so and eat for days. On my last order they gave me 3 containers of BROWN TASTELESS WATER. It was disgusting and I had to throw it all out. This wasn't just a single incident because 3 of my last 5 orders have also had watered down soup. This soup is normally very thick, rich and has been my favorite for over 25 years. Very sad. I also get 2 main dishes, usually Pad Kra Tiem, and this was also watered down and nearly tasteless. I would also like to point out that they have started charging a 4% surcharge for using a credit card. I understand that this become more widespread, however there is no way they are paying 4% fees for customers using credit cards. At one point they had a sign on their counter that explained the newly added fee, but it clearly stated that there would be no added fee for using DEBIT CARDS. When I tried to use my debit card, the cashier refused to remove the charge, even though I pointed to their own sign. She just played dumb. The next time I came in the sign was gone. This is a major disappointment and they have now lost a customer that was willing to drive quite far and spend upwards of $80 per visit just to do business with them. It's just too expensive now to be sold watered down, tasteless food. read more

Been coming to Bangkok for 25 years . Order the gang gareee the same way every time , have never changed our order. Today we ate in and ordered two dinners gang garee with chicken and drunken noodle with beef. Waitress didn't write anything down and brought both dinners with beef.,,, she said I told her beef for the gang garee in which I'm a thousand percent sure I didn't. She had zero personality and just stared at us. She took it back and brought us the correct thing and apologized. Bill comes and paid extra for beef and when my husband asked her she said it's the same price.... No it's actually not but whatever at this point. Will stick to carry out instead of dine in. I met my mom here for lunch today. This such a great place to get lunch. We're got seated right away; I think we were early for the lunch rush based on the number of people who were in the restaurant when we left. The menu is great because it labels everything that is gluten free so it makes it easy for gluten free diners to pick their meals. Our attentive waitress brought out the shrimp flavored puffed chips with our water. When we asked if they were gluten free, she went and got the box. They are. I ordered my usual and favorite thai dish of pad thai. I got it medium and with scallops. The lunch dishes come with soup. The free soup is the hot and sour which is not gluten free. I ordered the Tom Sum soup with chicken. This was a bit more but it allowed me to have the soup with my meal. The medium here is quite tasty and hot. I would definitely order it again that way. Our meals came out at the right temperature and we didn't have tot wait that long after we were done with the soup for them to arrive. Our waitress made sure that our water stayed full. She also had no problem splitting our checks. I will definitely be coming back here. read more

So, a question about the soup size led me to a google search, emptyhanded, I called the Chesterfield store. They went under new mgmt about a month ago. I was unaware. Supposedly, the staff and menu are mostly the same. I will need tomake a run over there to check it out. There is a new menu but it is not yet online. When I visit, I will share. The cost of the large bowl of Tom Yum soup w/ shrimp is $8.25. I have some there and leave w/a carry out. It is superb. Seriously, my favorite go-round since relocating to the east side. This is the 4th location I've checked out and it was stellar, as usual. Their Tom Yum soup is made fresh and is just delicious. And if course, we must have tea. Ordered lunch here for the first time. fried rice with extra peas and carrots; there's hardly a single onion in here, it's super salty and bland. Rice is mush. I ordered medium which is a true medium (usually order hot, but got M for the kid to have some with me). I ordered EGG rolls--but instead received spring rolls! I'm so disappointed since I didn't get what I really wanted and ordered/paid for. The spring rolls were hardly full inside and just hard and cold. Not happy. Not worth $22. It saddens me to write this because Bangkok has been my go to Thai place for years now. I am not sure if it was COVID that caused this place to go downhill.. but something has definitely changed in the last year or so. Not only has the food become much more bland, but the service has gotten worse as well. I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, but the last 3 orders I made, they have screwed up. I love their food, but every time I order pickup they tell me it will be 20 min only for me to I have to wait an hour+. I even started coming 25 minutes late, and it's still not ready. This has happened the last 3 times I've ordered. Truly, I hope that they see this because I do love coming here, I just wish they were more honest about the wait time. read more

I usually go to the Bangkok Cuisine in Rochester and recently got take out from this one on 26 mile. The food was still hot by the time we got home 40 min after picking it up. Perfectly spiced per our request, special requests were executed perfectly and flavor was delicious. Nothing was missed on the order either. My 4 year old had seconds on her Bangkok Chicken, it is her favorite Thai dish! The lacking 5th star is solely due to the small amount of meat in all of the dishes. I will know next time to pay for extra meat and also understand people are cutting back portions due to food costs. Bad bad bad! Did I say? Ok it's bad. This could be the worst Thai food that I have ever had! We had cussed at her home for dinner and then went to Thai food. So we googled up and found the nearest place was Bangkok cuisine.what a mistake $60 buck later and we had to repack all the food but krab rangoon. The food was Uneatable . I called and told them about the food they wanted me to repackage all the and bring it this was 9:34 pm. I had guest so I said I would bring it back in morning Saturday morning at 12 when they open so they you didn't bring back all the food so they wanted to charge me anyway for the items that we didn't get all the food back, what waste for everyone. Delicious Thai. I cannot remember the name of what I ordered, but it was great. The sauce was a bit too thick for my liking, but it was still pretty good. The rice puff chips are awesome. My only complaint is the soup. I didn't even know my meal came with soup and suddenly a bowl of hot and sour soup was in front of me. I would liked the option of aore brothy soup. H&S is too goopy. Even though Bangkok Cuisine is a little hard to get to (shoved in the back of a typical midwestern strip mall), the food and decor is incredible. I am glad to see that their dishes and standards kept up with their expansion to more locations. The food is consistent. The staff is beyond courteous. The only knock with _this_ location is that parking becomes a little difficult during peak times with Buffalo Wild Wings, and the other stores in the strip of chains. read more

The food is gross, the "manager" is a nasty little thing and the fish tank makes me want to vomit when I look at it. I told the waitress that my food was terrible and I was not going to eat it. She looked at me and said, "ok". I told the manager it was terrible and she told me "it's supposed to be terrible" but, " we have to cook it the way the owners tell us to". Presumably, terribly?! The "manager" fought with me about removing the food from the bill but agreed that although I was not the person paying, if I signed the reciept, they would remove it. Absolutely, positively never ordering from this place again. Placed an order over the phone for panang curry with rice noodles. My brother went in to grab it and once we got it home we realized it was gang garee chicken with white rice. I called to tell them our order was wrong and the manager argued with me for ten minutes that we "never paid for it." It was paid for over the phone and the takeout person handed it to my brother and said "you're all set." Um??? So the employee that got our order wrong also failed to process the payment. I don't find that particularly shocking. I'm not an obnoxious "talk to the manager" type but this was honestly just ridiculous. 2 things: its REAL good, and as a family of 7 I wish we could eat here more often. End story. Fresh rolls--- AMAZING!! My hubby and I could live off of these alone. Chicken, lettuce, cucumber, green onion, beansprouts, carrots, cilantro for $4.25 for 2 rolls--- heaven! The clear peanut sauce they come with I wana DRINK. Don't judge me til you have tried it yourself. My hubby choice is always Pak Pak with chicken, extra HOT! and he's never been disappointed. Its peapod, broccoli, water chestnuts, Napa, carrots, bamboo shoots, baby corn , celery and mushrooms in a rich brown sauce. I'll admit, extra HOT is too much for me to enjoy, but I do relentlessly always sneak a bite or 2. Again, my hubby LOVES it every time, ever a bad meal for him. The Thai salad($4.95) is awesome-- fresh and crisp with a ton of tofu and a full 8oz of peanut sauce, which again I just want to ingest by the spoonful. Apple salad($6.50) was also a medley of deliciousness with chicken, coconut, cashews and green apples. Pad Thai with chichen was good, altho I've had better. Also thought the price was a little high for the small(ish) dinner portion ($11.75). Which was odd, because the Pad Pak was a FULL 32 oz container as was the container of white rice that it came with, for the same $11.75. All in all, I will happily return, but more than likely stick with the few things we have grown to love here.... Pak Pak, Fresh rolls, Thai salad and apple salad. First let me say that I love Thai cuisine. So its very rare that I find a place that has 'bad' Thai food. Well, eating here ended up being one of those rare moments. Initial Arrival: When we first arrived, the Manager/Owner was just leaving with his toddler and infant. About 5 minutes later, I asked our server if 1) there was a changing table in one of the restrooms and 2) whether there was a kid's menu. She answered 'No' to both questions. I was told to just change my son's diaper at a booth near the hallway leading to the restrooms. Food: When I saw the dinner prices on the menu and was truly shocked. $10.75 for a Fried Rice dish?! Its one of the cheapest dishes for a restaurant to make! Had it not been for a starving husband and child, I would have gotten up and left. So, forced against my will to stay, I ordered Chicken Pad Ped (red curry dish) for myself and a curry fried rice dish for my 3 year old. After eating a few bites of my food, I got extremely thirsty because of the saltiness. After feeding my son a dozen bites of his fried rice, he refused to eat any more. My son loves rice (he's half Taiwanese), so his refusal puzzled me. I decided I'd better try a bite of his food. Poor kid, it was so salty that it hurt my tongue! Nothing worse than killing curry flavor with too much salt! Conclusion: - Just because a Manager/Owner has small children doesn't mean he cares about spending a little bit ($250-$300) to offer customers facilities for their children, or offering a menu for them. At $10.75 a dish, he can afford it. - Just because a Manager/Owner is Asian, doesn't mean he serves good Asian/Thai food. Don't be fooled by the fancy interior of a place. - Food is the exception to the rule "You get what you pay for". Check out BANGKOK PAVILION (Schoenherr & Canal in Sterling Heights) or KHOM FAI THAI (Hayes & 22 Mile in Shelby Twp). Both have great dinner dishes for under $9. read more

We were disappointed that we did not get hot and sour soup with our meal like we normally do, especially since we were starved! We ordered the usual - Bangkok Chicken and Pad Thai hot. Perfect amount of lip burn on the Pad Thai but the Bangkok Chicken could have used a little extra punch. The waitress brought out a bunch of sauce/spice/jalapenos for us to make things spicier. Bangkok cuisine has the best flavor in town, I think. Even if things aren't spicy, the food is full of great flavor! I would totally go back but just order carryout next time.
