Absolutely love this place, glad it is still open as a carry out. This location in particular is the only one that offers Neau Yang Namprik Pow, a delicious spicy beef dish, kinda like a thai version of Korean bbq....my mouth waters thinking about it. The pad thai and drunken noodles are always fantastic too. I also really appreciate the fact that I've never had them screw up an special order. Word of caution, they get busy so don't get discouraged if you call and get a busy signal...keep trying.

I met my mom here for lunch today. This such a great place to get lunch. We're got seated right away; I think we were early for the lunch rush based on the number of people who were in the restaurant when we left. The menu is great because it labels everything that is gluten free so it makes it easy for gluten free diners to pick their meals. Our attentive waitress brought out the shrimp flavored puffed chips with our water. When we asked if they were gluten free, she went and got the box. They are. I ordered my usual and favorite thai dish of pad thai. I got it medium and with scallops. The lunch dishes come with soup. The free soup is the hot and sour which is not gluten free. I ordered the Tom Sum soup with chicken. This was a bit more but it allowed me to have the soup with my meal. The medium here is quite tasty and hot. I would definitely order it again that way. Our meals came out at the right temperature and we didn't have tot wait that long after we were done with the soup for them to arrive. Our waitress made sure that our water stayed full. She also had no problem splitting our checks. I will definitely be coming back here.

Tom Yum Soup w/shrimp This is the large serving. $8, I think. Enough for 2 meals

So, a question about the soup size led me to a google search, emptyhanded, I called the Chesterfield store. They went under new mgmt about a month ago. I was unaware. Supposedly, the staff and menu are mostly the same. I will need tomake a run over there to check it out. There is a new menu but it is not yet online. When I visit, I will share. The cost of the large bowl of Tom Yum soup w/ shrimp is $8.25. I have some there and leave w/a carry out. It is superb. Seriously, my favorite go-round since relocating to the east side. This is the 4th location I've checked out and it was stellar, as usual. Their Tom Yum soup is made fresh and is just delicious. And if course, we must have tea. Ten stars to the owners- staff are all awesome. Food is consistently fresh.

Pretty much the worst Bangkok cuisine you could order from. They will lose your order and then refuse to apologize and make it right.

The ambiance was nice. Brightly lit and very clean. I went in rather late, maybe 8:30pm and there was a tv on and the sound was nice and low and not loud. I would have no problem having to eat-in if that was the plan. Now let's talk about the food. I ordered a pretty basic meal, chicken Pad Thai and a Hot and Sour soup. The amount of food in the Pad Thai was nice, it was definitely fresh and hot (temp) and certainly filling. I asked for medium spiciness but I think I should have just said hot because medium had no kick to it. The issue I found was the lack of actual chicken in the dish, very minimal but a lot of egg, it almost felt like egg was used as a filler to be honest. And then the sauce or lack-thereof. Not a lot of sauce at all so some bites just tasted like noodles and bean sprouts. Overall, I guess it was good but it could be better. Chicken Pad Thai: 7 out of 10 Now for the Hot and Sour soup. Although the flavor of the soup was "different" than I've normally tasted other places and the color of the soup was super dark compared to the lighter versions I am used to from other places, the real issue was the ingredients. Hot and sour soup is supposed to full of a protein, mushrooms and bamboo shoots. This order had a minuscule amount of anything. It was basically all broth and the very little amounts of everything else was settled on the bottom. Hot and Sour soup is one of my favorite soups and this was honestly a considerable let down. Hot and Sour soup: 4.5 out of 10 I am going to chalk my mediocre experience up to being late in the evening. I'll try it one more time in the near future closer to a normal dinner time and see how it goes. I'd like to give them another shot at a higher rating from me. Until then, I can only give them 3 stars. UPDATE As I said in my original review, I did go back today and my experience was vastly different than first time. I remembered to take photos this time too. I ordered the exact same food I ordered the first time so I could fairly compare. Pad Thai: This visit the food was still hot and fresh and the portion size was fantastic. The spice level was perfect. This time I did opt for "hot" instead of medium and it was spot on. Good kick, enough to make my nose run, so that's good. This time there was the perfect amount of sauce and I could taste it. And this time there was a perfect amount of protein and not an over abundance of egg. The Pad Thai was great the second visit. First visit score: 7.0 Second visit score: 8.5 Hot and Sour soup: When I opened the lid I could actually see all the ingredients whereas the first visit there was hardly any, all broth. This time there was a decent amount of bamboo, meat, and carrots. It also had tofu in it which I personally could do without but that's just a personal preference. It was a wildly different bowl of soup compared to the first time which makes me think I was kinda ripped off the first time since it was basically only broth. First visit score: 4.5 Second visit score: 7.5 Also, I am going to bump up my star rating from 3 stars to 4 stars.

Their located in a strip mall off Rochester Road and Avon with other businesses. Walking in, the place had nobody in it! There was a nice lady who was watching a show on her ipad and getting stuff together for later. She told me to sit anywhere, so I did. The menus pretty good with pricing that wasn't going to drill a hole in my wallet for once. LOL. I ordered crab rangoon with some drunken noodles and a water since I needed hydration. They were kind of stingy on the sweet and sour sauce with the rangoons, but the noodles were actually quite good. I stuck with the mild sauce, and it was good. I could taste the spices as they were subtle and not overpowering, but spicy enough that it gave the dish some flavor and depth. It's definitely not a fancier place, but the food was good and I didn't have to wait. The lady who helped me was pleasant and I really enjoyed her time. It was nice to have a nice quiet lunch for once without the hustle and bustle to decompress after a long week at work and the gloomy weather outside.

I do love me some Thai food and I forget how good it is when done correctly. This place seems to do it right! Walking in, we were greeted and sat ourselves at a little table off to the side and were given menus to review. I started out with Crab Rangoon since it's one of my favorites. I docked a star for this because when it came out, it looked like an egg roll, and they were very very small. I got a total of 5 "sticks" and even though I ate every single one, I didn't find them to be as good as if they were to come out in their traditional looking way. Makes me think they are either, at the very least NOT made on site, and *gasp* from Gordon Food Service! Anyway, I went with Pad Thai and got the Mild + spice. Not to hot, not to bland. Maybe I can step it up next time around! My friend got the drunken noodles, but remember, she has literally no tolerance for spice, so she thought it was too hot. It wasn't. She just doesn't have a good tolerance for much of anything spicier than water. (don't tell her I said that.) Anyway, even though this place is small, I really enjoyed my food here and would return in the future. If they fix the crab rangoon situation, I may give it 5 stars!!!

Before I get into the food, I really want to call out our server, Amanda C. We had never been there before and she was incredibly attentive to us, explained everything that they offered, gave us a lowdown on the spice they used and how it ranks compared to other foods ("This one is about the heat level of Buffalo Wings") which was great. My wife likes her food spicier than me so she asked if she could have some extra spice on the side and she brought out 3 different kinds of spices for her to experiment with, which was above and beyond. When it was time for us to leave, she brought out extra sauces for some of the appetizers we didn't finish so we could enjoy them at home, and even gave us little plastic containers if we wanted to take the extra spices home separately. Truly great and I hope the next time we come here, she'll be able to serve us. Now on to the food! Dynamite shrimp was very tasty but could have been a little spicier in my opinion. The breading and crunch was very good, just not as spicy as I usually feel like it's served. Brussels Sprouts were delicious and my wife and I cleaned the plate. Will definitely be ordering that again. The Yellowfin was good and maybe would've stood out more if the other items weren't better in my opinion but still tasty. Chicken Satay was very tender and flavorful and the peanut sauce was delicious. My favorite item was the House Speciality Fried Rice. We got it with tofu and vegetables. The fried egg on top was great and I literally don't think I've had better fried rice in my life. I truly don't want to eat any other fried rice but this one, which is a bummer because it's a 15 minute drive and not on the corner next to my house. We also had the Thai Iced Tea. I generally love this drink and it was good, but not the best. The crushed ice on top was quite excessive and I wound up scooping most of it out cause it wouldn't watered down my drink before I even got to it. I'd say bigger chunks of ice in that drink or maybe you can order it with light ice. Total was around $85 which is a pretty reasonably priced meal for 2, but Happy Hour prices attributed to that. We also made sure to give Amanda a nice tip for her excellent service. Will definitely be back!
