Amy's is my local go-to for Thai food. I love the cash discount though prices are very good even without it. This place delivers the spice level as I expect it. Their spring rolls are long, thin, and yummy. They have ample rice, stir fry, and noodle dishes - my favorite is the Drunke Noodles one. You can choose from meats, tofu, shrimp, scallops, or vegetables on most dishes. Amy's also gives two free drinks when we order two entrees. The people are nice and the food is good. Food had flavour but it's off compared to other thai places with its own taste. The coloring threw me off, as you can see in the shrimp green curry. I have been coming here for years, the chicken pad Thai was around $12.99 after years passed it went up to $15.00. I just went last night and it was $17.00! I do love this place but to make a chicken pad Thai almost $20.00 there needs to be more chicken and veggies and it needs to be a bigger size. Also my favorite thing on the menu was the crab rangoons, they were made incredibly good but when I got them last night I noticed they were filled with a strange filler and hardly any cream cheese, they tasted terrible and I'm so sad because the rangoons were one of the reasons why this place was my favorite.. I'm not sure if this place is under new management or not but I'm just really sad. It's just not by any means worth the price anymore. I've avoided Thai carryout for quite sometime because they all tend to taste the same. However Amy's food is quite the opposite - the taste is fresh and delicious, not like all others. The freshness of the ingredients comes through in all the dishes. You can tell the meats, vegetables and sauces were not frozen, microwaved or old. Ordered Pad Thai, Pad KraTiem and Potato Chicken Massaman Curry- very tasty and good portions. My favorite was the Potato Massaman Curry with chicken as I liked the hint of peanut flavor in the dish. Pad Thai was very good as well. Again their uniqueThai flavors makes their food especially good. Spring rolls along with the dipping sauce also very flavorful. Limited seating inside with attentive service. We observed this restaurant gets a steady flow of carryout orders and repeat customers. Could this be one of the last reviews I write before the dine-in restrictions are lifted? I hope so, but I wouldn't be surprised if the ban on dine-in was extended, that being said I try to focus on things I can control. So the past couple months the family & I have been ordering food that travels well, is Ok to eat out of a carry out container, leaving the restaurants we love to sit down and eat at hanging in the balance. Hang in there guys, we will get through this. Amy's has been on my radar for a bit, another restaurant I'm embarrassed I haven't tried sooner, to the cool guy who answers the phone, I'm sorry man, lol. I should have known when two of Yelps most respected Yelpers Ron C & Aleana posted positive reviews & delicious looking photos this would have been a place I liked as well. My son brought over dinner one day, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with portion sizes & how good the food tasted, I'm a fan now for sure. I had to try the Hot & Sour soup, very tasty. Vegetables & sliced bamboo shoots in a flavorful broth thickened with either corn starch or arrowroot topped with freshly fried wontons. I would definitely order again, My favorite still being "Thai King" at 15 & Mound. We tried the Orange Chicken, which was lightly battered & fried tossed in a deliciously sticky orange sauce served with your choice of fried or steam rice. As good as this was they have a couple other choices I wouldn't mind trying on my next order. The Pad Thai with chicken was a definite crowd pleaser, tender chicken, flavorful sauce, plenty of peanuts and just enough sauce that if it made it long enough, leftovers were just as tasty. My only complaint or critique would be the first time we ordered, there was no bean sprouts on our Pad Thai, and the 2nd time we ordered medium heat, but it was the same as no spice, kind of a bummer when your craving spice, so other then some inconsistency with the Pad Thai, we have added Amy's into our rotation with Chengs at 19 & Hayes for Chinese carryout. I've seen in mentioned in other reviews but just in case you can't read all the great reviews here at Amy's they give you a free can of pop with your meal, which I think is a very kind gesture. Keep up the good work guys, we can't wait to try the crab rangoons & more of those delicious spring rolls & dipping sauce. read more

The food here was amazing. Definitely try the crab Rangoon as it was the best I have ever had. We also really enjoyed our fried dumplings and pad Thai. Service was pretty quick but check ahead as signs indicated dining in may be discontinued with only carry out left. Also bring some cash for a discount. read more

Oh sweet Lord does this place rule. I happened upon it recently and have been there three times since! Mama's eaten Thai food all over our fine land, and this one is one of THE absolute best! I am a huge fan of gang keaw warn, a dish sent down from the heavens containing green curry, eggplant, and in my case, tofu. I get this same thing wherever I go, and it tends to taste similar to the last. NOT HERE. My face lit right up as I tasted a non-oily sauce that rivals the venerated Thai Palace in Dearborn, rest its soul. There are also green beans and cucumber in their gang keaw warn, very unusual and delicious! Cooked this way, the cucumber soaks up the sauce and is soft and juicy. Heaven. Portion sizes are generous! A really nice family runs this place, and if you eat in their small but cute dining room, you'll enjoy the service. They give a discount if you pay cash, and you get a drink with a carryout dinner. This little spot has stolen my Thai food lovin' heart! read more

Stopped by for a quick lunch inside, so delicious! Seems this place is really good with takeout but inside dining was nice and cozy. My food came really fast even on Saturday. When we got it from here it had a very weird taste to it... it was gross almost tasted like our food came out of the garbage can. First time ordering.. we got 2 vegetable fried rice. The menu stated the ingredients in the veggie fried rice and I simply asked to take out the egg and bamboo shoots... I didn't ask to add any ingredients. Both of our meals contained mushroom which is not listed on the menu (and I am allergic to so I didn't get to eat my meal) they also both contained red and green pepper which we did not ask for and was not listed on the menu as part of the veggie fried rice.
