My husband and I have been to Bangkok Thai three times. The first two times, the food and service was excellent. This time we went for a late lunch around 3:30 pm. The service was meh...which is okay. I ordered shrimp pad Thai and both the noodles and shrimp were over cooked. My husband's side of fried rice was mushy. We also had the steamed dumpings as an appetizer. They were okay but not as good as the previous time we had them. Overall, this was really disappointing. We'll probably give them another chance but if it's not better, we'll start looking for another local Asian restaurant. read more

Food was amazing. Place is clean, cooled, well lit and nicely decorated. 11 tables so it's a small restaurant but that's ok. Right off 66, not super close to the downtown mainstreet but right down the road. Staff was friendly, attentive, quick service 'with a smile'. They serve wine, beer and liquor. It was pretty good, parking sucks if your car is bigger than a mailbox. Place is pretty small but the good was decent. I wouldn't eat in as I'm claustrophobic but I'd get take it from there again for sure. They were very nice and welcoming. read more

Tried this Thai spot for the first time and had a solid experience. I ordered the green (or red, I can't remember) curry, and it was good--nice flavor, good portion, and just the right amount of heat. Nothing mind-blowing, but definitely satisfying. The service was great--friendly and attentive without hovering--and the ambiance was really well done. Cozy, clean, and a nice place to relax while you eat. Never got to try the food because as me and my coworker pulled into the lot in our cars a young(er) server comes up to my window and says "we can't have trash cans park over here" in an attempt to be clever/funny and kept trying to redirect me to the Tesla superchargers next to the visitor center. I looked at my coworkers in the car parked next to me and agreed to try it anyway since we were already there and quite hungry. We walked inside and I was handed the menus and the same man goes to the only occupied table and say "oh he's still mad" not sure he kept on going but that was enough for us to leave. Maybe he needs a little customer service 101 but I'm not going to return just to find out if he's improved his ways, or left. read more

I was passing through Kingman AZ and due to timing decided to stay the night there. I didn't have high expectations mainly due to there only being a handful of options in the city, but decided to give this place a try. It's a little off route 66, but parking was easy enough. The restaurant is a little small but we had no trouble finding a table. I started with the crab ragoons. I was pleasantly surprised. I expected them to be frozen, but they tasted handmade with a decent amount of crab in them. The frozen ones are generally heavy cream cheese but these were heavy crab. I also tried the bbq pork fried rice. That dish was as good as any version of that I have had anywhere. The pork was good, the rice was cooked just right, and the other ingredients were at just the right proportion. If you find yourself hungry for some Thai food and you are in Kingsman AZ I suggest this resort. read more

Our first time here. A small place, mostly locals are here. We are quickly greeted and sat. Drinks are served, and orders are taken. 7 minutes for egg rolls to arrive. 9 minutes 1st entree. 10.5 minutes for pad thai. The food is good. There is too much vinegar in the pad thai. Lots of shrimp. Spring rolls are packed, hot, and crunchy. No one ever sees us again. Waited at the counter, but nothing but laughter in the kitchen, so I got my Togo box. Still, no one checks on us, so I go to the counter and pay. Another customer had left some cash on the counter since no one showed up. My guess is that's normal. The food is good, and it comes out fast. Service at 1st is great when it counts, but crickets after that. The bathroom is outside and not working. Even if they did, it would be terrible in the summer. This place is not for me. So I wish you luck. I can't see returning. read more

THE FOOD IS SO GOOD BUUUT we've tried stopping for years and're always closed. I know they're more of a "snow bird" business and make most of their money off tourists during warmer weather (correct if I'm wrong, just a Kingman-ite observation, but darn it'd be so nice to eat there. Again, we find ourselves at this gem in Kingman, AZ. Tonight we had the satay for an appetizer. Of course the sauce is always the star and this place doesn't disappoint. Beautiful combination of peanut and Thai spices. My youngest had the Pho. This is one of the few spots where we've found this soup we love so much. It came with everything you expect and smelled delicious. She gave me a thumbs up and a picture. My other daughter had the suki which was a delightfully light dish with Thai rice noodles, carrots and shrimp. I had the red curry. So flavorful! Leningrad's, basil, just the right amount of spice. The vibes were awesome and the smell in the restaurant you know this food is going to be amazing and boy was it! This place deserves 10. As advertised, place is a small roadside eatery. So call ahead for take-away if that's more your style. The food is worth it! Ample off-street parking is available nearby; their parking lot is small. Restaurant was busy on a Tuesday lunch hour. Had the sweet and sour stir fry, mild. Companion had green curry with tofu and chicken, thai spicy. So actually frequent another Thai place when we are in Kingman but they were closed so we decided to give this place a try. I had Pad Thai and friend tried one of the other noodle dishes. We also ordered egg rolls and dumplings. Everything came out at once. We had expected appetizers first. The eggs tools were nicely fried and filled with a flavorful mix of pork, veggies, and noodle. Did not care for the sauce...their take on a sweet chili sauce...we found it vinegary. The dumplings were not good in our opinion . They had a hard ball of what we guess was ground pork in the center and they are made in a non-traditional manner. Funky flavor and texture and the sauce was almost sour tasting. The Pad Thai was ok...swimming in a thickish red sauce. The other dish was better although some of the broccoli looked like it may have been turning bad. At first we though it was just char but when compared with something else we decided it was not fresh and co worker didn't eat it. Looks like they have regulars which is good but we most likely won't return. Server, I believe Nathaniel, has a great sense of humor and did his job well. read more

I've been eating here since they've opened. It's been well over a decade that they've been serving the Kingman community. I am always pleased with the quality and portions of the meals. First visit there. Ordered Pad Thai Shrimp. There were about 6 jumbo shrimp. The portion size was good but the taste was kind of bla. There were a few green onions but nothing else and it seemed dry or the noodles absorb all of the sauce. At most Thai resturants they ask what heat level you want but I was not. There was about a 10 minute drive home. When I opened the container it was kind of congealed. I don't know if I will return to try something else. read more

We got Shrimp in a blanket for app. Then sharing a Tom Ka Hot Pot with chicken. Wow sooooo good!! We were picking out the bits that stuck to the inside of the bowl... he he. Then we ordered Pineapple fried rice. We did put a bit of soy sauce on that. Need a bit of salt I thought. I love Thai style fried rice dishes. You have added corn, onion, carrot , green bean, pineapple , chicken and of course raisins. Not too many just enough for flavor. Mmmm so delish. To top it off they add cashews on top. Sooo good. Not the best, definitely not the worst. Kingman has horrible eating out options. My best friend is from Bangkok so I have high standards. Wow! We love the pad woon sen, the soup, and fried rice. Everything is fresh and delicious! My family and I absolutely love eating here!
