I called a few days after being seen, after they were closed, to ask a quick question, and someone called me right back because she happened to still be there and recognized the patient name and wanted to make sure everything was ok. She quickly texted the provider to ask and get answers and called me right back with reassurance and helpful info!! Definitely recommend Parkland for your littles -- the most important thing as a first time mom is comforting, reassuring, understanding people! I was freaked out after my son got hurt and the staff made me feel much more at ease and in great hands.

The fact that they cared more for my daughter's comfort than their time, truly shows how much compassion they have for their patients! I'm beyond thankful! She refused to call me the right name or pronouns despite it being listed in front of her on the computer, and asked me "Is this still your name?" like I was being ridiculous as a child (I haven't come here in years). She then argued with me over changing it in the system despite it being legally changed. Additionally, she dropped something in my mouth. She panicked and called over someone else for help. I can feel it in my mouth so I lean forward to get it out and she pushes me back down, then five minutes later says "oh, it fell in HER cheek." I was terrified it was going to fall down my throat and cut me or something. I will never come back due to her intolerance and incompetence. After our son's bad experience at his previous dentist with a couple of extractions it took me some research to finally find Dr. Taylor & oh my gosh so glad I kept searching because he's definitely worth the 45 minute drive! We were basically there for a meet & greet/consultation being that our son needs anesthesia for EVERYTHING including x-rays! Once we met Dr. Taylor I knew we made the right choice, he had such good bedside manner & reassured us that everything is in house. He's the only dentist there as it's his private practice, so no worries of our son being scheduled with a particular dentist at random. They also do anesthesia once a month so that's very convenient versus some other dentist offices.

When I looked up free dental care on the web Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health Dental clinic was the first one on the list (see photo) I was so excited as I thought finally someone will help him. Unfortunately after speaking to the customer service rep who answered the phone I was told they do NOT offer free dental care and only have a 20% discount over most private clinics!!! I was shocked and disappointed to say the least. Why are they advertised as a Free Clinic and then only provide a 20% discount, he can get that at most regular clinics because he is a veteran, so not really a discount. Adults have 32 teeth so she told me to get implants it is $1000 a tooth so that is $32,000 dollars!! WOW not much of a discount....
