I had a few consultations with other orthodontists around the east valley before deciding to go with Rollins and Petersen for my Invisalign treatment and I couldn't be more happy with the treatment I've received. While I still have a few more weeks to go until I am finished with treatment, I am already very pleased with the results and would easily choose them again if I had to do it all over. They have 4 offices in the valley and it's been very easy to schedule and reschedule appointments when needed. Transgender unfriendly and unprofessional. Made the experience unwelcoming and scary. An older blonde lady with a silver flower accessory worked on me at 2pm 5/18/26 when my bottom wire came off. She refused to call me the right name or pronouns despite it being listed in front of her on the computer, and asked me "Is this still your name?" like I was being ridiculous as a child (I haven't come here in years). She then argued with me over changing it in the system despite it being legally changed. Additionally, she dropped something in my mouth. She panicked and called over someone else for help. I can feel it in my mouth so I lean forward to get it out and she pushes me back down, then five minutes later says "oh, it fell in HER cheek." I was terrified it was going to fall down my throat and cut me or something. I will never come back due to her intolerance and incompetence. A total embarrassment to not only this establishment but the entire industry. read more

First impression is not good. 5 minutes after my kid sits down she acknowledges the window sill and said "this place needs to be cleaned" so I asked "oh ya how come?" Very dusty. We waited over 40 minutes for our appt and no one apologized when they took us back. Had to ask what was taking so long like 2 times. Won't be using this place when my kiddo is old enough for braces. Everyone was very polite and kind but my time is valuable and the fact that we almost waited an hour after our appt and I had to be the one to see what was going on is enough for me. read more

Doctors have been wonderful. Unfortunately an existing crownpost broke leaving me without a front tooth. This month when I got the new trays I was worried about 8 more months of no tooth. Nicole took her time to match the color with a paint type substance and hand painted the trays for the first 3 and said she would do all 20 by hand. I was floored because it looked like a tooth. A couple hours after I left she called and said she made me a removable tooth to put into the trays instead. She totally went next level! Nicole renewed my faith in humanity and customer service. I am pleased to recommend Dr. Rollins and Dr. Petersen. When I first came in to discuss the rapid palate expander with Dr. Rollins, I was unsure if I would choose this method or another being used by an orthodontist whom I had seen. Dr. Rollins took time to discuss his opinions on why he believed in this particular way of expanding my 7 year old's palate. The same questions had irritated the previous orthodontist who was proud and condescending. When I asked the previous doctor if he could show me any supporting dental studies or articles on why his method should be considered better, he simply told me to look on the internet. Dr. Rollins, on the other hand, said "I will find an article in the Journal of Orthodontics for you, since you will not be able to access those studies on your own." And he did! I was able to make the right decision with his added help. He is always so kind and gentle. My daughter trusts him and only wants to see him. The other day, however, Dr. Petersen was on duty. It was the first business day after Christmas and it was unusually busy. Dr. Petersen approached and my little girl became anxious. I told him immediately that she was nervous because she doesn't know him yet. As extremely busy as he was, he began talking to her, "I am Dr. Petersen. I should tell you first off that I am a little weird." She reluctantly cracked a smile as he continued. "I have 7 children and I'm soon going to have the 8th! Well my wife will have the eighth actually. My son has the same palate expander as you." Then he asked her questions and soon she was relaxed and feeling safe again. He even took the time to answer her question about the difference between white and red blood cells. I think his ability to detach from the pressure of an extremely busy day and to be able to slow down and focus his attention on a little person who needed reassurance was most admirable.
