The visits have, thus far, been fine, but their web portal and app are rage inducing. Doing a password reset or trying to sign in is literally click, wait two minutes, then the screen responds like you just clicked it, spins for about three-five minutes, and when you have to do a text or email verification code, it either never shows up or will eventually show up with 10 of them. I recorded but can't post a video of me trying to reset my password, it was already a minute in when I started recording a two minute video, then at least another minute for the page to finally move to the next page, which is crazy in 2022. read more

I would not recommend this office at all. When I made my appointment I specifically requested a woman doctor because that's what I personally am comfortable with, however, when I arrived for my appointment, I was told that I was going to be seen by a man, Dr. Davidson. He was very unprofessional during my appointment, I came in to address ongoing pain that I've had for almost ten years, but when I tried to tell him that, he completely disregarded my concerns and didn't actually listen to what I was trying to explain to him. He didn't seem to actually pay attention to the answers I gave him and had me repeat myself multiple times. Overall, this appointment made me feel completely dismissed and belittled and did not at all address any of the concerns that I came in for. I have never had to write a review like this but I am just shocked at how I was treated. I originally came here for my first pregnancy in 2022. I started with Dr. S and my husband and I were comfortable with him. Unfortunately 3 months before I was supposed to deliver, he went on a vacation which ultimately turned into leaving the practice. Due to this, we then switched to Dr. Howard who we LOVED. I felt heard and he went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Fast forward to this year, I find out I'm pregnant again and am excited to continue seeing Dr. Howard. I go into my initial appointment with him, everything is fine until I come into my next appointment and am told he no longer works with the practice. I was shocked and upset but decided to continue going and see the last doctor there. Immediately the care was much different from what we were used to. No ultrasounds, rushed appointments and just a completely different experience than what we had previously. From this whole pregnancy, I've only had 2 ultrasounds which was not the case with my daughter. I didn't even receive my anatomy scan because it was never scheduled. I then had the worst experience I have ever had with a receptionist. When we came in today, we were told that their policies on insurance had changed. We were now expected to pay a crazy amount of money every appointment until I delivered. Then the receptionist informs us that our payment had not went through. This payment was not from this pregnancy but from my first one. The payment was supposed to go through on the 15th of this month but for some reason the clinic didn't take it, she then expected us to pay the balance today, when I told her that wasn't possible, she responded with a nasty attitude. Saying it's an automatic payment so you should've had it, speaking as if the payment was declined or our fault when it was quite the opposite. When I questioned why we weren't notified about the payment, she rudely says we should've called to check if the payment went through and that "it goes both ways and she's not responsible for keeping up with that". She even suggested we apply for ACCHS to make things more affordable. My husband has decent insurance and I don't think we should have to lie just to afford mediocre care. Overall this pregnancy has been a nightmare with them and now I'm burdened with having to find a new physician over half way through my pregnancy. If you can, don't come here. They need to focus on getting more physicians and training their staff instead of letting good doctors go. read more

I've never been more frustrated with a clinic. I got recommended to Dr. Sun by a family member. I drove an hour across the valley to schedule a minor procedure, which needed to be urgently performed. I've called the surgery scheduler, Rosie, roughly 25 times. She has called back once and promised to call me back the next day with a surgery date. Well, it's weeks later and still nothing. This is an urgent matter and I now have to start over to find a new provider who actually handles patients and their care properly. I recommend finding somebody more inclined to care about your health. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Howard for about two years now, and he's an amazing OBGYN. He's honest and funny. He truly cares about his patients and you can feel it when you see him. I also have to give a shout out to Debbie, who helped me schedule an appointment today. I'm going through some scary medical issues right now and she made me feel so much better. This is THEE worst facility I've been to in years. They do not answer their voicemail in a timely manner, they have a ridiculous patient portal that is totally absurd, the women fielding the calls pass the buck back & forth to each other without ever giving you a straight answer, just to end up in voicemail again. When you have questions about your visit and want to speak with Dr. Davidson, you're told he's too busy or there's nothing he can do for you. I was stunned at their total & complete lack of compassion as well as professionalism. Do not put your health in their hands. I will NEVER suggest any woman to this place. It's always an issue when I get there. I've had nothing but bad experiences since the beginning of my pregnancy. But the basics are the dr's don't listen very well, hurry you through the appt even though you wait OVER AN HOUR for your appt... A dr here treated me for PCOS but repeatedly told me I did not have PCOS... I just had an awful experience for the last year, hoping it was just a bad one time thing, but it obviously wasn't... It is disappointing to read some of these comments. Fortunately, I have had great experiences with Dr. Howard and I even drive 45 minutes to see him. He recently performed a Laparoscopic Hysterectomy on me when other Doctors were unable to perform this procedure for various reasons or excuses given. Dr. Howard is direct, but also has a sense of humor. I do not have a problem with him being honest. I think it is important for a Dr. to explain things and Dr. Howard has never made me feel rushed, nor was he ever unprofessional. Even when I was in pain during a biopsy, he was very patient and tried his best to make me feel comfortable. Based on his knowledge, years of experience and the fact that he was direct, I will continue to drive out of my way for him. The only negative input I have is about the scheduler, Rosie. She is always rushed and can be a bit abrupt when you ask her questions. I've had to interrupt her, just to get a word in and it's frustrating. Luckily, I've had the pleasure of getting to know Joanne. She is a sweetheart and very patient. Just ask for her if you want someone thorough to help you. read more

I like to 1st say my only pleasure was speaking to Dr. Howard because he was very detailed of my surgery. In addition, the wonderful outcome of my surgery. Now would I recommend this office to anyone that would be a no!!! First off Dr. Sun never remember who I was. The lines of communication in this office needs some help. Dr. Sun was never detailed with each visit. It lead to me making multiple visits paying multiple copay because of New information provided each visit in which could of been condense to one visit. Then my surgery was seriously delayed due to Dr. Sun not being upfront from the beginning he could not perform my surgery. Afterwards, I had to visit Dr. Howard then went through so many steps to get my surgery scheduled. Then 2 days before surgery the hospital calls to prep me for surgery and find out I need to submit a form from a previous doctor in which was never told to me by ANYONE!!! all good though on Cardiac Solutions for moving quickly! Within 24 hrs. Meanwhile!! The sloth process and misdirection of Palm Valley concluded to my boyfriend asks the doctor and hospital can someone fill my FMLA & Aflac forms out right after surgery. No one knew who could. After day one in hospital Dr. Howard says Rosie @Goodyear office can. I send all forms with my request via email Monday and don't hear back from her. Calling leaving multiple messages dealing with rudeness of medical staff. I hear nothing! I finally get a hold of Rosie due to my deadline is Friday in order to get paid. She says she fwd to Irene. To call Irene Friday. No luck! Monday comes 10 days from my surgery. I get a hold of Irene she immediately says in defense I have 7-10 days to process. Along with she just got the email Thursday. Some one is lying. Grown professional women! I then was told I needed to complete a release form. Huh?????? First off they both have mastered their position and know what is needed. Why on earth is this not communicated to patients during your office visit. What's required before and after. I am very very disappointed!!!!!! These medical staff need to get it together! read more

Although I was very comfortable with Dr Davidson during my visit, he was very thorough in his exam and explained the whole process of my biopsy on my cervix. The problem is, it's been 3 weeks and I still don't have the results of my biopsy. I was told if I had not heard from him in 2 weeks to call office, which I did. They said they had the results and the doctor would call me later that afternoon. He didn't. I called the next day, they said he would call that afternoon, he didn't. I have called two mire times and the office said he would call in the afternoon, he has not. Now it has been 3 weeks and I still have no results. This is absolutely outrageous to keep a patient waiting this long for the results of a biopsy especially when you know that they have the results! I'm so angry I don't even know what to do. This office and this doctor do not follow through on contacting their patients who are waiting on pins and needles for the results. He obviously doesn't care about the stress he is putting his patient through. I strongly recommend that you stay away from this doctor's office. read more

After a year of attending this office, I am convinced that although Dr. Howard is a good doctor, I believe he is over booked. The wait time to see the Dr. was always 3 hours minimim! Often I had to see the PA because either he was backed up or at the hospital for deliveries. deliveriesI didn't meet the Dr. until after the 4th or 5th visit. I even tried following him to their other location and scheduled an appointment there but even then I didn't meet him. I did appreciated that he was direct when I was seen by him, that fact that he is very well experienced, has a great sense of humor (made light of challenging situations) and that fact that he takes his time with his patients which might explain the wait time to be seen by him. Also, the scheduling staff wasn't great. She would often make me feel rushed to schedule my next appointments and I would receive an appointment reminder the day of as opposed to the day before at the least. The person in charge of FMLA paperwork was aweful. I was never able to get a call back from her after leaving multiple messages. My paperwork was incorrect and finally my HR declined it, it was a mess. I would have to be in constant contact with my HR rep for updates on the paperwork the office was responsible to complete and forward because that was the only way I knew whether the office submitted it or not. Dr. Howard and PA Kim were the ones keeping me at this office because of their attention to services. I recommend their other location in Goodyear considering I went there a few times. The times I went, the office was not overcrowded like this one, the office itself and the rooms were cozier and more comfortable and the ultrasound room offers 3D printable pics; this office does not. Overall, I will not be returning to this office for my needs. read more

There was a lack of communication at the 91st and Thomas location. The P.A. was wonderful, but as soon as I left the room, I didn't know where to go. Once someone finally told me where to get blood drawn, I had asked about an ultra sound and the receptionist in the back office said they will call me back. I thought she meant in the waiting room since our conversation was brief and she wasn't friendly at all (unlike the lady who drew my blood. She was the sweetest). So, I went to the waiting room until they were to call me back again. Something didn't feel right, so I asked the front receptionist if I was to wait, and she quickly said yes without paying much attention. Well, they did eventually call my first name, but it was for another person. With frustration set in I sat back down. Then, the back receptionist came out and LOUDLY proclaimed "are you waiting for something?" To which I said the ultra sound. And that's when she finally said that they will call me over the phone. At this point, everyone in the waiting room was looking at us because this individual made a scene! I have been to the Goodyear location many times and have never had any issue. This office made me feel anxious and embarrassed for an issue that they had caused. It also turns out that they did not get all the blood needed, so I had to return the next day. Well, with the previous incident in mind, I came in and was quite rude and defensive. If possible, I would like to apologize to the front receptionist for my rudeness. I honestly should not have taken my frustrations out on her and I have been upset with myself ever since. I just really never wanted to return to that location after what felt like a really embarrassing moment. It seemed as though I was just a number being herded through without much thought. If I do need to return to Palm Valley Women's Care in the future, I will choose to go back to the original office. read more
