We are fully renovating our master bathroom. Patrycja Jelen aka PJ, has been incredibly helpful through out the entire process. She has gone above and beyond in working with us to find the shower and sink hardware that was going to fit our needs. She's taken the time to quote multiple different shower systems, followed up with us about any questions we may have, and emailed us PowerPoints to help explain the different functionalities of each system to make sure we fully understood each choice. Banner Plumbing Supply has an enormous showroom to view a variety of excellent products and allow your imagination to run wild with possibilities. They have a great selection with excellent pricing. While Banner is a great place to go for plumbing hardware, the difference maker was PJ. She is an expert and true professional. I highly recommend working with her. As an update to my previous review: All of our items came in on time as Jennifer had promised. Everything looks beautiful in the completed bathroom. We did have a small snafu where the wrong schematics were sent to our contractor, but the fix was quick. Overall, we had a good experience and will be back for future renovation needs. read more

I am very impressed with both the prices and the customer service at Banner Plumbing. The prices, to my surprise, were extremely competitive (actually, the best prices I could find, and I shop around A LOT); the showroom is clean and beautiful; and customer service is top notch. Chip was great; staff was friendly and professional all around; and Jennifer assisted me upstairs in the showroom. Jennifer was extremely helpful, patient, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about plumbing products, which, personally, boggle my mind. She was patient, listened to what I wanted to accomplish, asked me specific questions to narrow down suitable products, thoroughly answered all my questions, and even offered cost effective solutions that hadn't even crossed my mind in order to work within my budget. While we were in Chicago we went to Banner because we are planning to work on a home we have purchased on the North Side. This place was suggested to us by a family member in area. We were greeted by a very pleasant person at the front desk. She directed us to the showroom where we were again greeted by a friendly sales rep that knew we weren't going to buy today, but still took time to show us what we were interested in & helped us narrow down our search to, not only what we needed & wanted, but also what would be in our price range. What a pleasant experience! I stopped by to see a toilet I had seen the Duravit website. After being encouraged to "sit on it to see how it feels", I knew that I had found the perfect toilet for our remodel. The lovely saleswoman who looked up prices and dimensions was Elwira. She immediately grasped the European concept I was trying to achieve in our two small bathrooms, and offered guidance and booklets to help me make some choices that I knlow I will be happy with. My wife and started our new project in the Spring of 2012. Which was or is a new addition to our home in Highland Park. We gutted and expanded the master bedroom, attached the garage and added an office above the family room. After our architect finished the plans, T the first thing we did was go look a fixtures at Banner. They have an amazing showroom. I should start by saying the biggest arguments my wife i have are usually over interior design item selection. So we happy to find a sale person, Michelle that could work with both of us. She understood and needs and was very patient with both of us. I tend to want to make quick decisions and my wife will Take FORE EVER. So Michelle helped get me out of the way and they came up with some great choices, despite me. Yes is was expensive but no more than any other place we priced out, and everything came in on time. WOW!! I was not only blown away but their selection but Michelle, their showroom manager was beyond helpful and knowledgable. She gave me some amazing ideas and was extremely patient with all my questions and concerns. I had a wonderful experience working with Banner Plumbing Supply. They have a beautiful showroom to assist you in picking out your plumbing needs. They even have a giant shower where they can turn on water and you can see and feel the different water patterns in order to pick the right shower head for your needs. While you are there you can get into the different tubs to try out the size and feel. They will even let you come in after hours to try out the tubs. Toilets are also hooked up so you can see how well the toilets flush. Truly it was a really hands on experience that made selecting my plumbing needs a lot easier. The best part of all though is the customer service there. I worked with Jennifer Burke who was fabulous! She is so knowledgeable and helpful in helping you select plumbing supplies. She asks questions you would never think of that help assist you in determining which pieces will best meet your needs. I also shopped at Studio 41 and the experiences were night and day. The showroom is not set up like banner and they do not have the knowledge to help you pick the right pieces. They really leave you on your own and say pick what you like. At Banner they may suggest that you get a different shower head that is better than the one that comes in a set. Plus they will make free shipments to your house as pieces are needed. I had a great experience and I would recommend Banner and Jen Burke to anyone! read more

We just finished remodeling our 2 bathrooms. Everything was purchased from Banner Pluming supply in Buffalo Grove. We worked with Jennifer on all bathroom fixtures and with Forrest on the vanities. Showroom is humongous and has a huge variety of choices. All samples are selected very tastefully for a variety of tastes, from traditional to modern. I can't comment enough on the professionalism, knowledge and attentiveness of these two individuals. ( I actually created a Yelp account just to be able to post this review. ) In fact, we followed Forrest from a different company that he worked for when he helped us to completely redesign our kitchen 4 years ago. Many companies carry the same products, but it's the people that help you bring your design idea to life that make the difference. Jennifer and Forrest were patient as we iterated through choices, and made sure we were happy with the selections within our designated budget. It is hard to find people who know their job, want to perform their job well and actually excited to work with customers on various projects. This makes the whole process so much more enjoyable. I am sincerely grateful that I found these people, Jennifer and Forrest. If I ever have to do any kind of home remodeling project again, I would never do this with anyone else. read more

Worst place ever! I felt like I was in the 1950s. I waited in line and no one would acknowledge me- then a man (not of color) came in BEHIND me and they waited on him ( I believe he said his name was Steve) I remained calm and quite. No one acknowledged me until 10 mins later I was just waiting. I asked if they had this faucet part- he showed it to his co worker who said no! They did not even look. My presence as a professional black woman was definitely NOT welcomed in their store. I was dressed in corp business attire I felt like they treated me like a slave! I am glad that I did not purchase a thing from that place!!! Simply horrible. I will take myself to a place where the color of money is accepted by all. read more

They have the best price, knowledgable staff and a very very nice showroom. They have gone out of their way to help make all my projects get completed on time. In my business it is very important to have completion dates and Banner is a big part in expediting my orders. They went over and above once on a soap dispenser I had. It was out of warranty and they went to bat with the rep and got it replaced! That showed me the type of Business Ethic Banner has, THEY CARE!!! I've been here 3 times to purchase a toilet, faucet and sink. Each time, I've been treated exceptionally well from the receptionist, sales to even warehouse. I'm not going to get into details of what I purchased, except to say they will do their utmost to find exactly what you desire. I guess the company treats its employees well b/c everyone seems very pleasant and ready to assist you in the most professional and courteous manner (unlike studio 41). Don't be intimidated by the showroom. Even though Banner carries high end fixtures, they also have mid-range items. If you don't see something you like, they can search thru their catalog for something that fits your needs. I met with Eduardo who was very attentive and gave me suggestions. He found items within my budget. Their pricing is very reasonable. The delivery service was excellent too. I discovered that they carry kitchen cabinets, water tanks and sump pumps, so when the time comes, I will be going to them. read more
