It ended up lasting for two weeks and I had to go get drops somewhere else which is what I needed from the get go. Then, about two months later I receive a bill in the mail for $80. I paid my copay there and verified they were in net work and, received no extra exams or anything and they billed my insurance $268. I called the billing department and tried to get a breakdown but it never went anywhere and I just had to pay the bill. Could be a great place but will never go back due to the billing issues.

The front desk employee also kept my ID and insurance card for over 45 minutes. I asked for them back multiple times, and each time she responded that she was "still not done with them." I went up for a third time and asked and she finally gave them to me but was rude about it stating "I didn't have the chance to give them to you". There was absolutely no reason for her to hold onto my personal documents for that long. While waiting, I witnessed two different people come in asking about the wait time. One person was simply told "yeah" when asking if there was a long wait, causing them to leave because they were given no information at all. Another person was told the wait was 30-45 minutes, meanwhile I had already been sitting there for 45 minutes past my son's appointment time with no updates whatsoever. The woman working the front desk was extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional the entire time. She is absolutely not someone who should be greeting or assisting patients and families. Customer service and communication were completely unacceptable. I would not recommend this office based on this experience alone. I do want to say the providers and back office staff were LOVELY!

They are very professional and the wait time was reasonable on both visits. If you are anywhere in the East Valley, I would recommend going here for medical care. They send prescriptions to the 24-hour Walgreens on the corner of Dobson and Warner roads which is very convenient. My mother-in-law has gotten care here also and highly recommends it, too.

After getting checked in for a possible broken elbow, vitals were taken and MD examined. We were told the xray tech was in with someone and we would be next. We sat there for over an hour (I can't imagine one set of X-rays took an hour). X-rays were finally taken in less than 5 mins. Then after sitting another 30 mins, I asked how long it would be until someone could look at the xray. I was told "this is the part that takes a while" and that I "was lucky they were still on the day schedule because the night time wait time can be up to 4 hours." We waited about 20-30 mins then asked again how long it would be. They couldn't give me a TAT so we got up and left. We were there for over 2.5 hours to have 3 X-rays taken. And who knows how much longer it would have taken to have someone read the X-rays. I don't believe there were a large number of patients there at the time. The parking lot only had a few cars, waiting room was empty and the nurses desk outside the exam room had the same nurses/techs/MDs sitting there our entire wait. Their website says little to no wait. How healthcare should be. That was not my experience at all.

I have never received such compassionate & helpful care before in my life. Lauren Blizter is hands down the best NP I've ever seen. She is so warm, helpful, efficient, and has provided me with the best care I've ever received in a medical setting. I was sad to hear she was leaving this office but I will be staying because everyone in this building is also incredibly kind and helpful. I always feel seen, heard, and respected. I know that when I come here I will be treated right. To emphasize the level of care this office provides: During one appointment, I was sitting in their lobby waiting to be seen when I got the news that my dog had died. Embarrassingly, I was a mess and couldn't stop crying. Every person that interacted with me in the office was so sweet and understanding and went out of their way to comfort me. Dr. Paige especially was so incredibly kind & comforting. She told me about all of her dogs that she's loved & lost & let me know that they're up in doggy heaven waiting to welcome my pup & protect/look after him. A few days later, I received a card in the mail from Sun Lakes Family Physicians saying sorry for your loss. Everyone in the office signed it and left a heartfelt message.
