The dining room was welcoming and the tables spaced out well so you weren't squishing your way through to sit. The food was plated nicely and tasted great! Now, THIS is a fantastic breakfast place! Wowzers. I've now visited twice over the course of a month. On my first visit, it was packed, which is always a very good sign. Most of the license plates were NH, another good sign in a resort town, indicating that many were likely local returning customers. The friendly hostess informed me of a 15 minute expected wait, which was just about that when she called my name. She seated me at a spacious table for four, where I only had to wait a minute before a very cheerful waitress smiled and greeted me with a menu, dashing off to return a coffee. Very good coffee. The full color menu looked scrumptious, which in my experience often bears no resemblance to the actual fare. I ordered a Western omelette along with orange juice. "Fresh squeezed orange juice or regular?" C'mon! Fresh squeezed OJ in New Hampshire? That's wicked. That's not all. I always ask for Tabasco for my eggs, and it's so important to me that I'll change my order if they don't have actual Tabasco, by name. Such joints don't see me again. It's one of the only things that I won't compromise on. So, I didn't have to ask. A chef's giant pound size JUG of Tabasco was nestled among the salt and pepper, right there on my table! The last time I saw a table set with Tabasco was at Fort Polk, Louisiana. Every table had one, or any one of three hot sauce brands. For a person who puts ten drops of Tabasco on every egg, I was wicked impressed. The owner must have been stationed at Fort Polk. After admiring the Tabasco bottle for a minute or two, I gazed around. Nicely and tastefully decorated. Wicked clean. Spotless. The floor, too. Before I could count all the giant bottles of hot sauces around me, there was my breakfast, delivered with a smile. "Look at that", I said to myself, a piping hot, fluffy, filled to the brim omelette that looked better than the scrumptious picture. An absolutely delicious bed for my Tabasco. Oh, and the orange juice! Holy nectar of Valencias! A tumbler full of rosy dark orange juice, the likes I have rarely seen in Florida restaurants. The tab wasn't cheap, but was certainly on par with far lesser restaurants in Conway and is an Administrative economic problem, not of their doing. I raved about it to my wife, who enjoyed a visit with me some time later. My only regret is that Banner's is not immediately local to me, or it would be my go-to breakfast restaurant. The Boston Globe needs to come up and decorate their wall with a plaque. Please frequent this place and keep it open for years to come. read more

Thank God for Banners! Since the pandemic finding restaurants especially for breakfast open Monday thru Wednesday is nearly impossible in New England but Banners is open everyday but Thursday! When we arrived the parking lot was full (a good sign) but they turn the tables quickly and our wait was only 5 minutes! Bright, cheery and clean decor, friendly service and great coffee! Our waitress Delia was a real sweetheart and the food is great! We ate breakfast here on Monday and Tuesday. I don't know where they get their bread from but the toast they serve is the best I've had especially the Rye! I had the Irish Benedict and Hash is homemade! I called Banners on Wednesday to see if they could seat a party of 16 for Breakfast on the upcoming Sunday. The girl who answered said they did not take reservations, but we were more than welcome to stop in! After checking out of our Airbnb in Bartlett. We packed up 6 cars and headed to Banners. We were greeted and told that the wait was 45 minutes and our party was too large to sit together. This left 16 of us scrambling at the end of our trip..... Big groups beware!! I hate leaving bad reviews! But this place just isn't worth the money. There staff tried but didn't give a great feeling of security for my wife with a food allergy when asking about if certain items contain dairy. There were very few people at the restaurant. I may have seen the waiter a total of 3 times. If you have picky eaters and just want pancakes and chicken fingers the place is probably fine but overall nothing special. read more

Drop in rating from last visit: I'm going to give this 3.4 STARS. - Service awful - Food quality and quantity down We went up during Mass vacation and had to wait a good 1/2 hour to get seated and when we did we watched 4 other parties come in, get seated, and get coffee and cocktails, orders taken even before we were even acknowledged. We are almost ready to walk out! The hostess was doing a great job in getting people in but she should of been more attentive of making people got served. Once we were served things got better but I noticed the prices have gone up and the amount of food has gone down. This place rocks, we hit this place every single time we're in the North Conway area. They're always polite and always busy. They're fast and delicious. They do have a small patio outside as well as indoor dining. They do have a very small set of steps at the front door that wheelchairs may have a hard time with. I believe there is a ramp on the backside of the building. They're only open for breakfast and lunch, til about 2- 3 on depending on the day. They have cute decor throughout their establishment and are following all covid 19 rules. My family and I stop here at least once during our family stays, if not more then once. They have a large parking lot for parking, and are usually very busy, I'd get there as early as you can and enjoy. read more

Stopped into Banners for breakfast. Place was packed!!! Put in my name and received a callback in 20 minutes or so that the table was ready. Ordered coffee, corned beef hash, and 2 over easy eggs. The coffee was free flowing, the hash excellent and home made, and the eggs somewhat less cooked than over easy in my humble opinion (eggwhites around the yoke not cooked). More like sunny side up with a flip. That being said I enjoyed everything else and hope to try some of their other selections. read more

Just plain NICE! Stick to your ribs breakfasts. The service was friendly and fast, but they don't mind if you stick around and savor your food. Stopped for a late morning breakfast on the way out of town. We were Seated in the lovely outside covered trellis area. Lots of plants covered the top so it was nice and shaded. Pretty standard breakfast nothing special. I tried the biscuits and gravy but the gravy was way too creamy and a bit cold. Home fries were nice and crispy but a little too Much salt. The waffle was nice and crispy and each of the meals came with a slice of watermelon which the kids liked. Plenty of parking in the private lot. read more

Also I had the biscuits and gravy with home fries and they were heaven the biscuits were light and fluffy The sausage gravy was perfect not overly spicy or heavy it was just amazing. Definitely look forward to coming back here again my other half for breakfast had the New England breakfast it came with bacon or sausage home fries two eggs and sourdough toast but you really have an offer of six different kinds of bread. He actually had ordered sausage or bring him a side of sausage because the kitchen had made a mistake. Everything was wonderful. It is definitely worth a trip if you're in the area it is right on Main Street through Conway. The server was Kaya. Lovely young lady. Right on top of everything. Popular breakfast stop near North Conway that has a modern diner feel. Don't let all the cars outside scare you away there was no wait when we walked in. The menu is extensive and they offer cocktails if you are so inclined. I loved the Greek omelet and my boyfriend really enjoyed his corned beef hash. My bf and I stopped here for lunch while visiting NH for a wedding. It was a Friday afternoon and we got seated without a wait which was nice. We got the Pastrami Bacon Melt and Corned Beef Reuben. Both sandwiches were really good - not a single complaint. The fries were good, however I'm not sure if the cook lost the lid on the salt shaker or something because they were incredibly salty lol. Stopped in here for breakfast on a Monday morning. We were seated quickly, and had our orders taken fast as well. This has your Mom and Pop restaurant feel which I liked. There were a lot of locals that the staff knew by name in there eating, which is always a great sign. My boyfriend ordered the Italian omelette and I had a breakfast sandwich with a side of home fries. Both were delicious! My boyfriend said his was a bit spicy, but good. I was hesitant at first to write this review, but after having had time to reflect, what they did and how I was treated just wasn't right. I was there for lunch, as I had been many times before. While eating my soup, I felt something foreign and hard in my mouth. It was a piece of fingernail. Believe me, I didn't want it to be, but that is clearly what it was. And it had been in my soup. I called the waitress over, and she was upset and apologetic. She did not try to dispute that it was a fingernail, because that is clearly what it was. However....when she went to tell the manager, that is when things became upsetting. At first the manager tried to say that it was a "hardened piece of soup that had been on top of the pot." Um....no. It was a fingernail. Then I heard the owner or cook in the back, yelling at the waitress that it was a piece of lemon zest. He said this loudly and many times, as if trying to convince her. She came back over, very uncomfortable, and explained this. Sorry, it was NOT lemon zest, I know what that looks like. It was a fingernail. I understand what probably happened....someone was grating something for the soup and caught their fingernail in the grater. Things happen. But instead of trying to gaslight the customer, just apologize and comp the meal. They gave me the soup for free, but I had ordered it as part of a soup/sandwich special, so they charged me full price for the sandwich! It worked out to only being $2 off the meal. If they had just admitted their mistake and comped my entire meal, all would have been well. But instead they chose to gaslight me and give me a pitiful $2 off my meal. This is obviously very upsetting and has lost them a once regular customer. read more
