Oh my goodness! Where do I start? So, I am going to just say it, this is a wonderful, family-owned business that always provides outstanding service and I have worked with them for over 6 years, BUT, I recently made the mistake of calling a competitor (Lasting Legacy AC & Heating) because I got a coupon and it was for a ridiculously low amount to service both the AC and the Heating units ($79). Long story short, even though I have a fairly new home (6 years) and have my systems serviced every year, Legacy advised that I need approximately $5000 in work done, unless I sign up for their Membership Club ($240), in which case I would be looking at approximately $3500-4100. Wow. And they said both systems were in dire need of repair as well. I sensed that something wasn't on the up and up about all of this. So, I immediately called Banning AC & Heating to come out and inspect both systems, thinking that even if I have to spend that kind of money, I'd do it with a company that has taken care of me. Guess what? All I needed was a "Hard Start" component for my AC that cost $285! And, after a careful review of my heating system, they said that I needed ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Basically, the other company attempted to defraud me out of almost $5000, which is horrendous, and especially bad because I am a senior citizen. Thank goodness for Banning AC & Heating. In April of 2021, I used this company once again for my air conditioning maintenance. Randy came out once again and I like the fact that they have people that stay with the company for a long time. It makes me feel like they are very stable company. Randy did the routine Inspection of my air conditioner condenser and everything was fine. I do this once a year just to make sure. They also do my Central heating once a year as well. I highly recommend this company. Christine always answers the phone it is so nice. I called another AC company, they said my circuit breaker was to small for the AC unit. I called an electrician to change the breaker, he said it needed all new wire for $600.00 At that point I knew I wasn't getting the correct info. I called Banning Air, they came out, checked the unit. No new breaker or wire needed. They explained the circumstances that may have been my original problem. AT NO CHARGE. I did some up-front research in diagnosing my dad's AC not working. I had Banning Air come out and look at the run capacitor, filter, and insulation on the copper line. They were so great - came out the same day of my call and switched out the capacitor with a new one! They didn't have the size of filter needed so that came back the next day (today) and brought and installed the new filter and new insulation for the copper line. They work quickly, were friendly and professional, and the value of their labor/cost of goods was fantastic! I definitely recommend them to anyone needing assistance with their AC! Also, I really appreciated the guys respecting the need to wear a mask inside my dad's house - they had no issue at all with it. read more

These guys are really great. My a/c broke down last night and I called these guys are 7:45AM on the 4th of July. Got an answering service and left a message with the attendant. Got a call back at 8:15AM from Banning Air booked an appointment and by 9:15AM Tim arrived and started troubleshooting my a/c. He had the spare capacitor in his van and by 10AM my a/c was up and running. This is the second time I have used Banning Air in the last three years. First of all I want to say that this company made a complete 180 based on their mistake the technician made hitting our mailbox. We contacted the company about it and within an hour the owner came by and paid us for the damages that was caused. He even provided us with more than what the repair costs. Labor Day weekend with temps around !00F and our AC goes out! Called Banning Air Conditioning and Heating on Labor Day to leave a voice mail requesting service. Received a call early next morning and was scheduled for service at 10 AM same day. Randy arrived before 9AM, diagnosed the problem and completed the repair in less than an hour.AC running as good as new! The best part was the quick service at a reasonable price. There seems to be some local companies that use scare tactics to sell customers on the need to replace an AC or heating unit. My Mom was one of those "targeted". She told me another company said she needed to spend $4,000.00 to replace her heater or she might DIE - due to her faulty system. We called Banning Air Conditioning & Heating for a second opinion. We didn't mention the other companys' diagnosis - they did find a $40.00 YES FORTY DOLLAR connection that needed to be replace - but not it was not LIFE THREATENING! We just remodeled our condo in Sunlakes and had Banning Air re-duct our 25 year old condo and put in a new heater and air conditioning unit - since it was also over 20 years old and not running well. Not only did we give this company and the owners a 5 Star review - they are good people and you can trust them. Call them to check your units and they will give you an honest evaluation. read more

I have a very old AC unit and, over the past 4 years since I moved in, these guys have done an amazing job in keeping it up and running. Today, I thought I'd finally burned out the motor. After running some diagnostics, Tim told me, "No, it's just the capacitor." "Didn't we already replace that?" "If we did, then there's no charge," he told me cheerfully. I recently bought a home in Banning and within a week of moving in I realized that certain rooms were colder or hotter than the other rooms. It was pretty uncomfortable. I thought it was a problem with my furnace so I called Banning Heating and AC. Randy came to my home and was so personable and professional. He told me that the problem wasn't the heater but rather the ducts. The air ducts weren't evenly positioned and hadn't been replaced since 1951. I got an estimate to have the ducts replaced and hired them to do the job. They finished the job in three days, made sure my house was cleaned before they left each day and even made sure my cats didn't get out of the house while they were working. My heater wasn't working so i called and made a same day appt, Randy arrived earlier than expected, and was extremely pleasant and professional. He thoroughly checked out my heater, told me what I needed, and within 30 mins got the part and got it done, he later explained how to use it and answered all my questions. Woke up this morning, glanced at the thermostat on the wall and noticed the screen that shows the temperature was black. I tried changing the batteries but the display was still black. I called Banning A/C but no one answered so I didn't leave a message and left a message for another company. That company never called back but Banning called and said they noticed I had tried to call them. I told them the problem and the guy was ringing my doorbell 15 minutes after I hung up the phone. He said he stopped at my house on his way to his first job of the day. He tested the thermostat, determined it needed to be replaced and had it done in less than half an hour, start to finish. Price was reasonable and since I'm a senior he installed a thermostat with big numbers so I could see it without my glasses. Yay! He even gave me back the new batteries I put in when trying to fix it myself. I will definitely use these guys again. No frills, think of everything, get the job done. Highly recommend. read more

Great customer services from the start. It was really wonderful to call and actually speak with a very nice and caring lady (sorry....i forgot her name) who was able to listen to my air condition concerns and set me up with same day service. Randy was wonderful. He arrived to my home earlier than the time i was told he would be at my home, and that was great, and was professional and courteous. He was very thorough in his diagnostic process and after a thorough investigation he was able to tell me that the cause of the problem was a short. Thank goodness it wasn't more serious. He did not try to up sale or pressure me into purchasing what was not needed. Actually, I didn't need to purchase anything at all. He fixed the short and installed my new thermostat, that I had purchased from a local store, with professionalism.
