The pork collar, rice & squash, and tart flambee dishes were by far my favorite! I was so pleasantly surprised overall by the way the dishes all complemented one another. Our waiter recommended 3-4 dishes per person which worked well for us. I do wish the rice and squash dish could be ordered as a side dish size as well. It was amazing but we filled up on it before we could get to our main course dishes and we also wished we had saved it to go with our pork and fish. The restaurant itself had a very cozy vibe. It was dimly lit but not to the point where I can't see the menu. However, it was pretty loud inside to the point where I had some trouble hearing the person sitting across from me.

Seated at bar for our Sunday evening reservation. Service was top notch and staff was knowledgeable about menu and gave great recommendations. The place is beautiful with great decor and lighting. The raw items were super fresh and complimented each other well. The rice had a hint of sweetness which was delicious and the pork collar literally melted in your mouth. The housemade sourdough was also a nice treat!

It hits and it's staying. The food was paced perfectly. Shareable and good food. Amazing service. Great vibes and honestly what was needed. Looking forward how the restaurant will continue to change.

I got the Caesar salad, wings and their signature burger. The salad was cold and crispy, the wings were flavorful and the sauces rocked. The burger was the best I've had in Philly. We ordered their: (1) bacon burger (rating 3.0/5) (2) beef sandwich (rating 3.0/5) (3) fries (rating 3.5/5) Don't get me wrong, the food isn't bad. The best way I can explain it is, their food is satisfactorily adequate. It tastes good enough, it's juicy enough, it's filling enough. It's what I would call "fine". The thing is, their burgers are TINY (not too far from a slider even) and EXPENSIVE for how small they are, so being "fine" isn't what I want. If you're going to charge that much and give that little, the food needs to be mouth wateringly incredible. Otherwise give me a normal-sized "fine" burger. Service Notes: No complaints about the service. This place has bit of a "nicer bar" ambiance, but it's quite small. It felt a little too confined honestly. TLDR: Food is fine, but not worth the cost. There are better burgers at lower price points.

Reasonable. We walked upstairs into the cutest little dimly lit romantic wine bar I've ever seen. That was a lot of descriptors, but I felt them in my soul. We ordered a bottle of Pinot Noir and got a side of fries ($5) and pickles ($5), as there is no better date night than wine and fries. One of the most underrated combinations in the food game. They are oddly reminiscent of Brandon Roy and Lamarcus Aldridge, just so underappreciated. We sat there, watching the USC and Florida football games on our respective phones between sips of Pinot Noir and bites of these phenomenal fries. These Good King Tavern fries are my favorite I've had in Philly. Both of our teams suck this year, but both won that night. HUGE! Le Caveau delivering miracles... IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov_reviews

Love this French restaurant I went to last week and already want to go back…read more I had the escargot which were a little lemony but delicious and hard to find at most restaurants. We tried the Leeks all dolled up, the vegetable was healthy and very tasty. I had myself a fortified wine for the first time! This is really the reason I tried this place, as I have never had fortified wine before. What is it you ask? Basically, wine with brandy in it making the cocktail come in at approx 15-20% bac. Fortified wine is poured in much smaller glasses than a normal wine pour, but I am thankful I got to try it. I got the duck of the day, which was duck confit, and it was amazing. My friend got the steak frites and I was very impressed with the quality steak, was ordered medium but came out beautifully medium rare which my friend was happy about as he immediately regretted telling the server he wanted it medium. I didn't have room for dessert, but this unique restaurant has so many items that you cannot find everywhere, and it makes me want to come back ASAP. As always people SYOY!!!!

Was "unable to explain " the restaurant's "happy hour" policy. 3.) Strongly suggest that owners & management review the competency of their organization. Strong neighborhood following, but suggest many other local places that are WAY better and competent. DO NOT EAT THERE! Just to follow up on Chloe's response. Our SERVER identified the host as "Eric", who by the way, "was too busy upstairs with paperwork" to address these legitimate issues in person. As far as a "well trained, dedicated staff, my experience was the exact opposite. Sorry if the truth hurts.

We had a reservation and arrived on time, but still had to wait about 10-15 minutes to be seated. It was a bit annoying since we had to stand right by the entrance while people kept coming in. That said, we loved the ambiance inside, very classy with a beautiful full display bar. The vibe is definitely a highlight. We ordered almost everything on the menu, and while the food was good, the portions were a bit disappointing for the price. We expected a little more. The oysters were very fresh, and I especially loved the chicken lollipop and the burger! those were definitely the standouts! I'd honestly go back just for those two. Everything else was just okay. Drinks were really good with lots of options, which we enjoyed. The staff were also friendly and helpful. Overall, a solid spot to try something new, but I do wish the portions matched the pricing a bit better.
