I visited here twice during my stay at Margaritaville. I got a coffee both times. The first time I ordered, the service was rather slow and the coffee did not taste like what I had ordered. It also appeared to not be as clean as it should be. I tried again the following morning and received much improved service and coffee. Glenda was very rude to me along with a line of adults instead of her telling us to stand back please because she didn't want us to that close to the glass, she told us to Get back like we were dogs! so yes! i checked her and told her that's what a master says to his pet! we are all adults she went back and forth with me. She stood there and monitored the cashier instead of assisting the men in the back making our food cause the line was extremely long. I love this little cafe when it comes to the sandwiches and salads. They also serve meat patties which are also good. My favorite is the original beef patties, I'm not to fond of the crawfish one. The serve breakfast sandwiches too. A good place to grab a quick bite. If you're hungry and in a hurry, even the $5 noodle bowls are a hit. It's a hit and miss with the service. read more

I have tried to grab something from this place a few times leaving the casino. I have all three times ordered my Lyft 10 30 mins prior thinking that would be plenty of time. I have never made it to be able to get food. Last night I gave them a 30 min head start. They had 3 people working so I assumed this would be ample time. Well it was so unorganized that I did not get food once again. The lady behind the counter just keep asking questions and did nothing. The other two guys ran around trying to run register and fill orders. I have never seen such a poor managed establishment. With 3 people for most prepared items it should be 5 mins wait at most. Employees don't seem to know what they're doing back there at the register. Hot Chocolate wasn't even hot and tasted more like milk with a hint of chocolate. Tried coffee the next morning, I got the salted caramel mocha, it again just tasted like warm milk with only one shot of coffee mixed with milk and a little caramel, can't believe I spent $5 on that. Banyan Tree is located inside the Margaritaville Hotel/Casino pavilion. Sure, you could get a free cup (Not sure the same blend? Doubt it!) on the neighboring casino floor, but it wouldn't be near as delicious as the beast of a cup you get right here. If this Banyan Tree here was a real tree, I'd want to take seeds from it, and plant them in my back yard. As well as the front! And people watching is of premium quality, as I stated, with the casino floor right there, and this shop is situated rather snugly right in between the hotel check in/lobby, the Paradise Theater, the Five o'Clock Somewhere Bar, and the World Tour Buffet! Tons of foot traffic in every direction! Agendas abounding! They also sell pastries, pizzas, sandwiches, and salads. Even now, as I peck away this review, they are offering $5 nachos. In some ways, sadly, I feel this place is somewhat overlooked by said foot traffic due to the aforementioned surrounding attractions/distractions, and people just breeze on by (like a Bahama Breeze!
