When I got there at a little pass 7am(opening ) told you find my own seat , my server was ok The food I ordered was nothing compared to another broken egg in Shreveport . When my gps set me up for this restaurant I thought what the heck I'm on my way. I will never be back , I ordered biscuits and gravy and the gravy had come spot .. not warm COLD. I had cheesy grits and some shredded cheese melted on grits IS NOT cheesy , it's a lazy version.apparently my biscuits came with eggs and the server never asked how I like them and of course they came , not my way , so I never touched them. We came in from Fort Worth for a night at the casinos and specifically chose this amazing restaurant because of our last experience a year ago here. Everyone in our party talked about our plans for Sunday morning brunch here. We chose a different location this trip that was a little closer to our casino. Even though we put our names on the waitlist there want any wait when we arrive at 10 am on a Sunday morning. The front staff were very nice and seated us right away. Then we met our server Chelsey! What a ray of sunshine ! She was the nicest server I've had in a long time. Lots of helpful tips and always spot on with service. Any restaurant could be a huge success with a handful of servers like Chelsey. We ordered a full order of the beignets and they came out hot and delicious. That marmalade like honey was the icing on the cake too! They were almost as good as the best beignets on Bourbon Street. I had the same thing again and loved my Mardi Gras omelette. Packed full of yummy seafood and the eggs were so good and fresh. That smoked Gouda grits was awesome! The rest of the table loved their breakfast. The place was AMAZING!! If you like Beingnet's then this is for you!! All I got was the Beingnet's but the sugar powder was good. And the bread itself was also good the only thing is. That it comes with some kind of honey. But I didn't really like that but besides that it was good. The server was really nice she kept on coming to ask if we needed anything else. And she refilled all of our coffee's, and the service was good. The place looked really good I didn't get to see what the interior looked like. Update of my review: 11-15-24 After frequenting this location many many times since my original review and never having any issues. Food and service have always been excellent, We stopped for a late breakfast today. Our daughter wasn't feeling well & wanted chicken minis so we picked them up for her before we came. After not being greeted by the host, we were told no outside food was allowed in the restaurant. I asked if we could eat on the patio & was told no we weren't allowed to eat there as long as she had her food. She's a young child! It wasn't like we had all came in with bags of food & we would've gladly sat outside. Host was very rude to us. We will NOT be back. read more

Last time I was here was Aug 6, 2021. A week after my husband passed away. We were a large party (9) preparing to say goodbye after the funeral. So we were more concerned with each other, as apposed to the service. It was great. So I decided to give it another shot. April 6,2023- party of one @ closing. Seated at 1:35. Probably took me a couple minutes to decide. Received my Monterey Power omelet at 1:56. It's an egg white only omelette and honestly I did miss the yolks. It had a decent amount of flavor though. Very disappointing experience to say the least, I ordered some food for breakfast for my 8 years old daughter, and when the food arrived, it was missing all of the toppings ,and a side dish as well, and when I called the place, the manager, Johnny Walker ( real name ? ) immediately put the blame on Doordash, trying to have me believe that the online system used by Doordash canceled the toppings and the side dish without having any control over it and that unfortunately he couldn't help me and i would have to call Doordash to deal with this matter. I told him that I could come directly to the store and pick up all the missing item, as again, it was my daughter's birthday and she really was expecting her food as such, and he told me that it would be ok and that his name was Johnny Walker. When I arrived, there was no place to park so I left my car parked in a double lane and literally ran to the store in order to pick up the food, only to realize that nobody had a single clue of why I was there, I expressly told one of the girls in the front that I was here to pick up some food that was missing from my order and that I was parked really bad and that the manager was expecting me, which obviously didn't seem to phase her at all. I waited at least a good 10 minutes and nobody even tried to help me, but rather kept telling me that if i didn't need a table then I needed to step aside and go on the other side where the " pick-up " line is. While waiting and trying to keep an eye on the car to possibly prevent to get a ticket and make sure, from afar, that the kids were ok, I could see the manager walking slowly from the bar area, then back to the kitchen, stopping to talk to people, then go back to the kitchen, and not one even time did he come in my direction, he certainly never came to introduce himself, nor apologize for the messy situation, he never brought the food, nor anyone tried remotely to help me with my request, even after telling a third girl if she could check on the status on my food, showing me instead a clear indication that was annoying her, and i then realized that I was just wasting my time, standing in this place with literally nobody whatsoever willing to help my case. That's when I told the two girl at the front that I was very disappointed with this whole situation, and to told the manager , Johnny Walker, not to bother with the food and that it would be very unlikely that I would come back here, sadly, as this was one of my favorite place to eat with my family, and their answer was of course, as expected, a sour smile and a very fake " have a nice day then! " I have not received any calls whatsoever from the manager or from anybody at this point, and it is very clear to me that they just didn't care, i didn't matter at the time, i mentioned my daughter's birthday but it didn't matter, i mentioned i was parked in a very bad spot with the kids in the car, but it didn't matter, and hey, I was wearing my military ID around my neck, and that didn't matter at all anyway. Needless to say, I am done with this place, and I will make sure that everybody in my close circles know about this terrible experience, thank you so much for ruining what could have been a great breakfast for a 8 years old kid's birthday brunch! read more

Everything was wonderful. Our waitress Tori was very attentive and took great care of us. Ashley the General Manager was so delightful. She runs a great location I believe out of all the locations this is hands down the best one. I even caught a glimpse of the GM helping a waiter make something extra special for a girl at another table. That to me shows how much this location cares about the customer experience. The food was on point as always. I enjoy the spinach scramble. I just recommend getting on the waitlist before you go to cut down the wait time. The atmosphere is great as well. I had the hash brown benedict, which is so creative I'm not sure you can call it a benedict, but it was phenomenal. The portion was very large, and I left totally stuffed. The potatoes were also good, though they could have been a little crispier for my taste. I also had the Grand and Strawberry St. Germain mimosas, which were both delicious, if a little on the sweet side. Over all, this is a great place to go for a nice brunch! Loved this place! Had their Cookie Dough waffle and Deep South Biscuit Sandwich. The waffle was AMAZING, and the sandwich was really good but next time I would ask them to cook the yolk of the egg; it made the biscuit a little soggy. My family and I went in this week to try another broken egg for a second time. Our first experience was pretty tough. I asked our server for the gluten friendly menu (it says they are available upon request on the bottom of the normal menu). He looked confused but came back with a gluten friendly menu. When it was time to order, I got a souther chicken sandwich from the gluten free menu. I specified I wanted the gluten friendly version since he seemed like he didn't understand the gluten free thing. I'm not sure if he was new or if he was just young and not with it but something wasn't right. He was very kind and willing to help but he just seemed flustered. The server came back out a few moments after I ordered asking more questions about my meal and sides which I found odd since it says the sides I get are grits and pickles. My sandwich came out with BREADED CHICKEN. it was not gluten free breaded either. I was with people that I didn't want to be the one to complain infront of and it's always embarrassing sending food back. So I took the benefit of the doubt it was gluten free chicken and ate it. I did get sick. Servers should be more aware and the kitchen should have known better as well. A manager could have even stepped in to make sure everyone was in the clear but instead I was given breaded chicken off a gluten free menu. The food did taste good for me and my husband. Ordered a cup of tortilla soup but received a bowl and it looked like I got the leftovers from another table. My fried chicken sandwich and the soup were both served cold. Wife got a salad and sandwich combo with wrong dressing and very sad looking salad. When we brought this to the attention of the server she said we would still have to pay for it since we got what we ordered. When we checked in (there was a line), the young lady took our cell number to text when our table was ready. We received a message that we were on the wait list. After about a half hour, just what she said it would take, she stepped out the door and called our name? What was the point of the cell phone number? Our water was really good, knew the menu back and forth. However, it appeared he was spread very thin, not all of his tables grouped in the same area. That being said our first round of coffee was there pretty quick, but he was so busy, I had to flag the hostess down to get a refill. For the food- had the biscuits and gravy plate with the eggs over medium and sausage. The biscuits and gravy were served not cold, but not hot either. The eggs and sausage were hot. Biscuits were light, fluffy and very tender. The gravy despite the temp of the food was tasty. Would have been great if it was a bit warmer. While the sausage and eggs were fixed perfectly, the sausage had a sweet flavor I was unfamiliar with. If I go back, I will not get the sausage. Over all the experience was average. Too expensive for frequent visits. Kudos to the hostess who replenished our coffee, and to Chris, our waiter-these 2 with such friendly natures and welcoming attitude may bring me back to try again. read more
